"Stupid, idiot, fool! He is the Leader of the Contrarians' Champion. Quickly apologize." As I was deeply sunk in my thoughts, and wondering what should I do to evade all other Champions who would look trouble with me, somebody came to me and interrupted my thoughts. At that moment, I happened to say him "Scram!" , now that this Fatty saying he is the Champion of the one of the Faction Leader.
I turned my head slowly while sweating profusely. I had a stupid smile on my face, as I was scratching back of my head. The person in front of me was an elegant man with grey skin. His eyes were night blue and were looking at my soul. He had a slim muscular body, but I could see the strength he had was not to trifle with. "I am very sorry, I was thinking something and I mixed you with someone else," I said. It wasn't wise to make more enemy at the moment, and since Contrarians' Leader wanted to meet with me, I definitely had to go.
"So be it." the elegant man said, as he turned around and started to walk. As I started to walk towards him, Fatty drank his wine, then drank the half glass I left and started to follow us. We walked in the streets of the Third Floor. The Elegant man was walking with pace not slow and not fast. After 15 minutes we arrived at the front of the big hotel. It was something similar to 5-star hotels on Earth. The elegant man walked through the door and walked on the red carpet. No one even dare to stop us, as we walked. As a Champion of Gods, our standing was only below to the Gods.
The elegant man brought us to the top floor of the hotel via teleportation elevator. It was similar to the elevator, only it was taking an instant to reach the floor one wanted to go. The floor was vast, but there was a single door on the whole floor. Obviously, all floor was a single room. After we reached the top floor, the elegant man knocked on the door. As I was excited to see a God for the first time, a voice came in. "Come in." The voice was very familiar to me. This voice was the same as the time I tried to take the staff, Duke Item that Leader of the Templars had at that time. The thoughts started to fill my brain.

Was the Champion of Leader of the Contrarians one Templars wanted to protect? Did he order his Champion to bring me over so he could have his revenge? As I was lost in my thoughts, the elegant man coughed and told nod me to walk inside, and closed the door behind me. Just before I walked in, Fatty's voice came to my ears, "Don't freak out when you lose your v-"
After I walked in, I looked around the room. The room was designed in perfect symmetry, and almost every piece of it made from valuable stone. There were silk curtains, red carpets, and soft couches. The same voice ordered me to enter said, "Sit down." I did sit down and all of a sudden everything went black. I lost my vision and I was about to rush out. "Calm down, Brother!" Crow's voice came to my mind. It was at this moment, I realized what Fatty tried to told me.
"What is going on, Crow?" I asked. I had some guesses, but Crow seemed to know, so better to check with him.
"Gods don't want you to see them, thus they took away your vision. As simple as this." Crow said with a depressed voice. Crow never liked Gods, I don't know the reason, but he hated them more than I do.
I let my perception spread and all of a sudden a couch appeared in front of me, and on top of the couch there were one man and one woman were sitting. There were another two men sitting on another couch appeared on my right. A voice came from my right, the same voice from earlier two times.
"We met at least." the voice said. I didn't know if this was the leader of the Contrarians, but I was sure I offended him once. When I was about to take the Duke Item, this voice told me I shouldn't be arrogant, all Gods would trample before him.

"This lowly one met with the Lords," I said as I stand and bow.
"You can sit down." the woman voice continued. "You must know %'+!+.
I heard you had a conflict before." the woman said. I heard what he said, but the part of his sentence blocked by something, and I didn't understand what it was.
"It was the name of the God. The Gods don't want commoners to know their names. That is why most of them have aliases. Such as Shop God, Quest God." Crow enlightened me.
"This lowly one had obliged to the Quest and had offended the Lord without realizing it," I said. I knew what woman God tried to say. The one ordered me to enter was the one ordered Templars to clear One Piece World. When I took the quest of killing them, I offended the God belong to the Contrarians faction.
"I know you weren't informed well at that time. And since you weren't well versed on the topic, you were pardoned." the male voice in front of me spoke this time with the greatest arrogance I ever encountered.
"Lords are magnanimous," I said.
"I called you here this time because to help you. I know you have one of those systems, and wielding it would bring you only trouble. Thus I permit you to give it away to me. This way, no one can cause trouble for you." the arrogant voice continued, as I was dumbfounded. These guys were so, overly arrogant. Staying in this room wanted me to smash their faces.
"I didn't understand what Lord is implying. This lowly one only has a humble system bestowed upon me by my lord." I denied the fact. Even if it was proven somehow, there was no way for me to admit it. As soon as I admit it, there was no returning back.
"What is the name of your System?" asked woman God with an irritated voice. Apparently, they didn't expect me to reject them this bluntly.
"The Ada--, The Adamant System!"

46 Year Old Syndrome
The daily Litrpg journal of a fairly average 46 year old man in a world where hundreds of thousands of people suddenly have a super power.Follow him as he learns skills, runs away a lot, suffers crippling headaches, avoids reading his titles, and tries to avoid breaking his body that didn't get enough calcium and vegetables.[Disclaimer 1: Despite the following, I will fix any typos pointed out. This is a writing exercise so chapters are mostly first drafts, otherwise I'd end up rewriting each chapter for a month or more with no real changes. My goals are a steady output by not using perfectionism as a procrastination method. I've already got laziness and additions to reading/games, I don't need a 3rd reason to procrastinate.][Disclaimer 2: The main character is a more normalized version of me, with 170% less laziness installed, and a few buffs like greater courage. Other things like having a job are partially similar. No other characters are based on real people because most people I know are either too normal to be useful or too fucked in the head to be believable.]

While my writing style may be a bit rusty, I hope to be able to provide nothing more than a good book to sit down and read for awhile. P.S. I might not be able to be consistent with updates to the story, but I'll do my best! I hope you enjoy! ---------------------------- Cover art done by ShayeSoForgetful.
