It’s so boring.. Just waiting here for the goblins to get the materials and to build. I don’t know what I was suspecting. It to be finished as soon as I accepted the build order? Ha! laughable!

I have to wait for them to construct it and wait like in real life. There's a reason why I need builders and it’s not for standing around just to look pretty. I feel so dumb now..

But at least it gives me some time to think to myself. Like what should be my next action in this ‘Game’. Like, should I look for Alexander or perhaps Olivia? Or should just try to remain hidden and get stronger?

Theres also the possibility that they aren’t here but I highly doubt it, since I’ve seen other players before I left the town. Like that Loli mage back the magic institute, she was pretty cute. Just to let you know, I am not a lolicon and if you ever think that, I will personally find you and cut you down.

Well, while I was sitting here thinking. Several goblin children have come over and sat down with me, just playing with the glowing grass and grass, and mud.

Sometimes they show me the plants they picked, like the glowing flowers or mud pies they made. Usually they will give it to me, if I smile after being gifted it, they will get all giddy, clapping their hands and smile as well.

It feels so nice watching them. Being so carefree and happy here, hopefully ignorant to the harsh realities of life. Sigh.. I doubt it. They would of probably just grow up just to be labeled as “Exp Cannon Fodder” for any player who finds them.

This makes me want to protect them even more! I will make sure that no one shall harm my people while I’m still standing! As the saying my father used to say, “A strong man will protect himself. A stronger man will protect others.”

However.. I think saying that to me right after killing someone who failed him in a simple mission is kind of.. Forget it, best not to dwell on those thoughts.

Hm… Maybe I should check my status menu, I haven't seen it in a while and I probably have leveled up by now due to those wolves I killed earlier.

Holy shit! 150 freaking status points!? Just for 10 levels and not only that due to my 3x stats trait.. I basically have 450 status points!

I don’t even think Nibbit had 100 status points if I tallied up all of his points together.. Just imagine these stats when I fought against those poor Shadow Wolves! It would of been even more one sided.

Now lets see how I should distribute these points. I’m mainly going for a wizard like build.. Because Magic, however I don’t want to be a glass cannon so I need strength and endurance.. I also want to be fast and have better hand eye coordination.. Dammit.

I basically want to be balanced hut I heard that is the worst thing you can do in a videogame as you aren’t specialized which could screw you over if someone who is full speed and damage build.. Ughhh… There is no way to win.

I’ll just go balanced for now and when I get a higher level I will actually choose a strict path to follow! Now lets see.. We put some here, and here… Maybe some charm and luck.. That's good!

Now that is se- Why is the Experience Points I need to level now 300,000?! I swear it was 3,000 just a minute ago! What is this bullshit!

Th-this isn’t good.. A few seconds after I read that horrible message I am in a blank white room with two women, one standing besides it and one sitting at it in a chair.

The woman who is sitting at the desk looks bored and tired as she has her head in her hand while her elbow is leaning on the desk. Her glasses aren’t see through so I can’t see her eyes. She has golden hair and snow white hair tied in a bun and is wearing a business suit that has a perfect mixture of black and white. I’m assuming she’s the Goddess of Balance..

The woman who is standing beside the desk is giving me a death glare for some reason, like he just detests my whole existence.. She looks pretty nice with long golden hair with curls in them, bright blue eyes and a white dress that hugs her body. She could be mistaken as a supermodel if she was in my world.. Same with the Goddess of Balance but that's more of a ‘Cool Beauty’

Wait.. Could that women be the Goddess of Order? Would explain why she is giving me that hateful glare and why she is standing next to the Goddess of Balance…

The Goddess of Balance straightens her posture after seeing me it seems, and puts her hands together on the desk. “Welcome Zxel! The Successor of the Malum Clan, the Demon Lord’s bloodline. You probably are wondering why I brought you here as well as other questions but all will be released in time. Please have a seat.” She gestured to a seat that started to form out of the ground right in front of the desk.

I walked over to the chair and sat down with my hands on my lap daring not to say anything. Just imagine me saying something rude by accident or something and get a worst curse.. I just need to be on my best behaviour.

“The biggest thing we must address is about your curse that I gave you.” She frowns. “There are two reasons why I bestowed it upon you. Number one reason was because if I did not do this, you would grow incredibly fast and be able to reach the power of gods probably in a few months, due you already right now have the power of a level 110 human, stat wise. The second reason, is due to my guest beside me constantly complaining that such a powerful being aligned with Chaos should not be allowed..”She gestures to the other Woman with a wry smile while that women frowns.

“Well it shouldn’t! It disrupts the balance and you should care about it more than me! Just look at him, two days in and he has the stats of a level 110 human like you said, and that's not counting in his affinities, his race and his Arch-Demon Rank!” The woman is yelling at Balance and is bright red and pouting when she finishes. Balance just sighs and I assume rolled her eyes.

Balance points to the woman and says, “Order, you wouldn’t be complaining if he was aligned with Order would you? You would’ve kept me from finding out about him so you can have more power, now shut up and be quiet, you're only here as a guest but if you speak out of turn again I will have to ask you leave.”

So the woman is actually the Goddess of Order! Unless that's just her name but I doubt that.

I raise my hand in the air like a kid from school to ask for permission to speak, which Balance just laughs at what I’m doing.

“What are you doing? If you want to speak, just speak, it’s not like I’m going to rip out your tongue if you say anything. Well, unless you say anything that I take offense.” She says and gives me a sly smile. I need an Adult.

I scratch my neck and meekly say, “What is so special about being aligned with one of you three. Chaos, Order or Balance? Because all I got from the Prince of Chaos was being proclaimed his Champion and supposed to cause Chaos for him.”

Order knits her eyebrows together and frowns. “Wait, you're saying you had no idea about the mechanics of the Alignment systems?”

It’s my turn to frown and I say, “There’s a System for that? I thought it was just a simple, proclamation of being aligned to something, not an actual system feature.”

They both give a loud drawn out groan at my answer, Balance face palms while Order just stares at the ceiling I’m assuming trying to accept that i have no clue what the hell is going on.

Balance pinches the bridge of her nose as a cup of brown liquid appears which she grabss and starts sipping. Smells like Coffee. “The Alignment System Should be apart of your Status but it looks like it didn’t appear. The System tells you the three Alignments you are aligned to. First is if you are apart of Order, Balance or Chaos, depending on which one you are aligned to you get Pros and Cons. Such as you being with Chaos, people aligned to Chaos like you more for example, but people aligned with Order dislike you.

There is also Good, Evil and Me again as Balance for the second Alignment. I would think wisely before you pick one as they can drastically change how people perceive you, however unlike the first Alignments, the second one can be influenced by choices you make while the first can’t by your choices. You will always get Pros and Cons for whichever one you pick as well have quests given to you by the respective Patron Deity Representing that Alignment.”

“Wasn’t that only two? Where's the Third one?” I raise an eyebrow and ask.

Balance sighs, putting down her Coffee. “The third one is a Faction you join or created yourself. Examples of this would be the Dark Deities Alliance, Also known as the DDA or the United Holy Deities also known as the UHD. The reason why I’m telling you those two as an example is due to to them probably going to rope you into their faction. Most likely the DDA though but the UHD will probably try to rope you in just so they don’t have you and because you haven't picked Evil yet.” She takes off her glasses revealing a pure black eye and a glowing white one.

“I Would advise not joining either of those Factions as if you join one, the other will try to eliminate you. It would be better for you to make your own Faction or if you don’t want that, choose a Mortal made Faction. Better to have Mortal Enemies than Gods and Goddesses.” She says and looks over to Order. “Isn’t that right?”

Order crosses her arms and pouts. “Yeah, it would be best for him to stay out of our Faction Affairs. I still don’t see why the DDA would try to grab him though! He’s only a mere mortal!”

Balance mutters something under her breath, I couldn’t really hear it though. I think it said ‘You're to young to know’...

I cough in my fist to clear my throat and get Balance’s Attention. “Can I pick Good right now?” I tilt my head and ask her.

They both stare at me, shocked like I told them the secret of life. Or how many licks it takes to get to the middle of a tootsie lollipop.

“Why would you want to pick Good? Not trying to dissuade you or anything but wouldn’t it be better for you to be Evil in your position? You are the Demon Lord after all.” Order says while Balance is breaking out of her stupor.

“Yes, why would you want to pick Good over Evil? What reason is it?” Balance asks, interested in my answer.

“I wish to be a Hero! And shouldn’t the Hero be Good, rather than Evil?” I Smirk at them.

“Your an Idiot.” They both say in Unison… MY FEELINGS, THEY HURT.

“You do realize you can still be a Hero if you're aligned with Evil, would be more difficult due to people aligned with Good dislike you at the beginning.. Who do you even want to be a Hero for anyways?” Order asks.

“Everyone that is an Innocent and in trouble!” I answer, putting my arm up in a heroic pose!

“You can’t do that.. Well you can but it would end badly.” Balance states.

“What do you mean that it would end badly?” I ask Balance which she sighs.

“Because you can’t be a Hero for Monsters and the other races. You want to protect those Goblins right? They are considered a threat to the other races, so you as the Hero of the Holy races would need to kill them, and Vice versa for the Goblins and Holy races...” Order says while trying to not get eye contact with me.

“Order is right. You can only really be a Hero for Monsters or the Holy Races, since one wants the other gone.. Will you be a Hero for your people, or will you follow your goal to try to be both and watch how everything will come crumbling down upon you… Will you forsake the rest of Humanity you have inside of you, or will you damn the ones who follow you?” Balance asks, staring right at me.

“I… I will need to think about it..” I can’t choose right now.. Even if it is an easy choice for others. Even if this is a Game.. I don’t want to screw over my people.. But I don’t want to kill innocent people..

Balance puts her glasses on and nods, accepting my answer it seems. “I think that should be enough for today than.. You may go for now” She waves her hand and I start glowing.

Wait. For today. For now!? Is she saying she will summon me again!? Not like spending time with her is bad but I would rather not be near something that with just a thought could erase me from existence. Even if she is pretty cool…

After a few seconds I am back with the Goblin Children. Nothing looks different. Like I wasn’t even gone for a second… Gone, huh..

I shake my head to try to get rid of those thoughts and summon up the Status Menu again, hopefully the Alignment System kicked in now. ‘Status!’

What? A New Title and Magic Rank? Where was that Title when I was told I was his Champion and getting the Magic rank now? Lag or something?

But we have the Alignment feature now though, so that's good I guess. Option 2 and 3 are NA due to not having picked them I’m guessing. There is so much more to learn in this world, only two days in and I met two Goddesses and a Demi-God of Chaos and became his champion. Plus becoming a Demon Lord.
