???: You have one week to execute them all.
He turns around and starts walking before he fades into invisibility.
--- Chapter 149 ---
Within the dark chamber, the enemy gang lies silent. The boy with the black hair, seemingly the leader, named Toru begins to speak up.
Toru: So, who first.
The boy with red hair speaks up.
???: Dunno. Don’t really care to be honest, but Junos is mine.
Toru: You sure?
???: Of course.
Toru: Ok. We should take Red out first though.
Suddenly, the man with purple hair and black lines across his eyes and face stands up.
Toru: Emiliano?
Emiliano: I’ll handle this quick. Shouldn’t be too hard for me. We all know I’m much stronger than that nitwit Matias. No, beast.
He raises his right hand into the air, and pieces of spectral metal form, and they all fly together, assembling a rifle-looking weapon. It is smooth and purple. He takes on an unsettling smile, with a slight laugh.

Hiro, Elias, Red, Junos, and Kid make their way into the shared courtyard to try and meet up with Ame.
Hiro: Ame!
Ame: Yo, long time no see my fellow inmates.
The two fist bumps.
Red: So, how is the women’s ward?
Ame: Boring. Nothing but gossip.
Red: Better than ours.
Ame: Why, what happened at yours?
Red: We got jumped by an invisible guy who looked like an animal.
Ame: What?! Well obviously you are ok now, but if you couldn’t see him, how did you win? Could you smell his mana Red?
Red: No actually, for some reason I can’t smell mana at all in here. Maybe because everyone’s mana is sealed away?
Ame: Dunno.
Red: The reason we won is because of Kid over there. He has the ability to grant us sight.
Ame: The sight?

Hiro: Y’know, being able to see invisible psionic powers, keep up.
Ame: Hey!
Hiro recoils in fear.
Hiro: Sorry!
Red: But that leads me into my next topic of discussion. This is Kid, he’s me and Hiro’s gang leader.
Ame: We have been here for less than a week, and you already joined a gang?!
Hiro: Yes, keep up.
Ame shoots a glare, and Hiro has a shitty grin.
Red: So, I wanted to ask if you two would join.
Ame: I don’t know, do you even know if there are any contingencies?
Kid: No contingencies, no strings, just protection.
Ame: I don’t mean to be rude, but this is between me and them.
Kid: Fair enough.
Kid turns around and starts to whistle nonchalantly.
Ame: Ok, now, why would I join a gang?
Red: Listen, I was attacked by someone with PSIONIC powers, that normal people can’t see. The guy was likely in a gang. Meaning I was targeted by a gang, with powers I can’t fight. But, with the ‘sight’ I can actually fight them. And it’s not far-fetched to say all the new people, us, are going to be targeted. Maybe some Arthur fans that don’t like us? I don’t know.
Ame: I see. Elias, what do you think?
Elias: Well, I know they are invisible, at least the one they fought. So I’m down.
Ame: Ok, fine. Kid, we will join you.
Kid: Great! Welcome to the team!
Kid hacks up two loogies right into their eyes. Disgusted, they try to remove the slime from their eyes.
Elias: The hell?!
Ame: What was that for!
Kid: I have given you the sight! Your welcome.
They successfully remove it all and blink it away. Kid and the group catch Ame and Elias up to speed on what Psionics are. A man dressed in a guards’ uniform walks up to the group and looks at Red.

Guard: Excuse me Mr… There isn’t a last name, are you Red?
Red: Uh, yah?
Guard: Good, you have a visitor at three.
Red: A visitor? Do you know who?
Guard: Nope.
Red: Odd. Thank you anyway.
Guard: No problem.
Red turns back to the group.
Red: Who do you think it could be?
Ame: Master?
Red has fear on his face.
Elias: Maybe Darren.
Red looks at the ground sadly. Hiro smiles.
Hiro: Luuuuuna?
Red looks over at Hiro, who is raising his eyebrows rapidly. Red just stares at him, his eyes piercing Hiro’s soul.
Elias: Well, either way, I don’t think it will matter.
Red: Why?
Elias: The visitation center is on the other side of the prison.
Red: So?
Elias: It’s 2:53.
Red’s face goes white and begins running. Red makes it there only two minutes late. He walks to a guard, who has a tattoo of a five-pointed star around his eye. The tattoo is a purplish color.
Red: Wicked tattoo.
Guard: Thanks.
Red: Do I-
Guard: Head on in.
Red: Ok.
Red walks into the visitor room and waits. Suddenly, a short old man walks into the room from the other side, only a silhouette is seen.
Red: Master?
As the door closes behind, he realizes the figure is not his Master. The old man has a kind expression on his face.
Red: Who are you?
???: Pashto. You?
Red: Red? Why did you visit me?
Pashto: Visit you? Good question. Why am I here?
Red: How am I supposed to know!
Pashto: … Wait. Now I remember.
A purple star tattoo materializes around his eye. He raises his right hand, and a purple handgun appears. He fires a round at Red. Red pushes off the bars, flipping back in his chair. He props the chair back up and ducks behind it.
Red: Yo! Old man! What the hell are you doing?!
The gun fires more shots, Red ducks to the side. The chair becoming riddled in bullets.
Red: G-guard! A little help in here!
Red looks over at the door, and peering through the bars is the guard with his purple star eye.
Red: I see. This is coordinated. This is a psionic power.

Updates Sunday - Tuesday - Thursday![successful participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Rating: This should align pretty closely with your typical MCU movie, so PG-13 for scenes of fantasy violence. There'll be gore and some swearing but not much beyond that. If that changes, I'll warn you. MC: Shaya is analytical, but begins the story emotional and impulsive. She leans towards rationality and uses this to control her demonic impulses to the best of her abilities. She begins the story as a somewhat capable protagonist, but grows in power steadily through hard work and diligence. Fights: ...I like fight scenes. They’re going to be detailed, but I won’t drown you in description of individual hand movements or footwork. I like fights that can be solved like puzzles by the audience, where creative thinking wins the day using tools you know the protagonist has at their disposal.
