Announcer: Stop! Cari has been immobilized, meaning Leo wins! Which concludes round three, come back tomorrow for both the semi-finals and finals!
--- Chapter 126 ---
Proctor: Congrats to the four making it to the semi-finals. Red, Levi, Hiro, and Leo, you did well. Tomorrow will be the last day, having both the semi-finals and the finals. The pairings will be Red vs. Levi and Hiro vs. Leo. Everyone get a good night’s rest, tomorrow will be difficult for the participants.
The group leaves to get food. Luna walks up to Red.
Luna: Levi is really strong.
Red: Yeah, I figured. He gave off that vibe when we met him at the first challenge. Do you know his arcana?
Luna: Not exactly, but his punches had a lot of force behind them. He is also good at fighting, in general. And at one point he grabbed his shirt and pulled it in different directions, and he just disappeared.
Red: Like he was really fast?
Luna: Well he is fast, but this was almost as if he teleported.
Red: Maybe his power is teleportation and he is just strong.
Luna: Maybe, but some of the punches felt like multiple fists hitting me. So I think there is something more to his power we haven’t realized yet.
Red: I see.
The two converse for a while before heading to bed. Bright and early, everyone awakes. They head into the main room where the proctor is waiting.
Proctor: Ok, today is the day. Spectatorship will be allowed to those still participating. Red and Levi, your up first. So Hiro, Leo, you will join the group going to the stadium seating. Any questions?
She looks at everyone, they shake their heads no.
Proctor: Ok, good luck then.
She leads the group upstairs into the seating. Hiro and Luna head to section D-3 where Elune is sitting. Hiro spots Sole and Elias sitting next to one another, a space next to Elias, then Ame, and another space. Hiro sits next to Elias and Luna next to Ame. They converse until the match starts.
Announcer: Red vs. Levi. Let the semi-finals BEGIN!

The Granddaughter of Time
Teresa Hargrove was okay with giving up. She knew the Earth was doomed and there was nothing to be done about it. What she was not okay with was the Future, an enigmatic woman nearly fanatical in her devotion to making a difference, dragging her along — seemingly, to prove her wrong. It turns out though that the Future is very hard to understand. This story contains heavy themes, including mental illness, existential crisis and death. However, I still tried to eventually convey a message of hope. Several mythical and metaphorical beings in the shape of humans will appear in most chapters. However, they are not meant to be of a specific ethnicity or social background and are instead perceived differently by people around them. For your reading pleasure, feel free to imagine them any way you’d like, even if your imagination contradicts descriptions from the story. Enjoy!~
