Bandit: Get out of the cart! NOW!
The teen, just cracks a smile.
--- Chapter 71 ---
The teen walks to the door and opens it.
???: All right all right, jeez. I can hear you.
There are around seven bandits wearing leather tunics over cloth, some wielding swords, others daggers. One in the back, wields a bow and arrow.
Bandit: Give up your money. NOW!
???: I just said I can hear you. Loud mouth on this one am I right?
He says looking at the other bandits, them wielding their blades, pointing it toward him.
???: Tough crowd, sheesh.
Bandit: You think this is a joke?
???: … Yes.
Bandit: Alright, get the fuck over here. Jimmy, Leto, get in there and take their riches.
???: Oh it's the money you want?
Bandit: Are you fuckin for real kid? I just said that.
???: Oh really? I don't have very good memory. Either way, you want me to come towards you? Wish granted.
The kid bursts forward, leaping off the ground. The guy looks surprised, he lifts his sword up to block, but the kid draws his own blade and slashes. The bandits blade shatters to pieces. The kid lifts his foot as he's coming in, stomping on the guys chest, pushing him into the ground. The bandits are shocked briefly but they go running in.
Cart Driver: Master, we will be late.
???: WHAT! Really? Ok ok, I’ll finish up quickly.
He looks around, three coming from the right, two from the left, archer behind.
???: Piece of cake. I wasn't really gonna use anything other than my sword, but I have a bit of a reputation for being late. And I don't want to continue this streak, it's a little embarrassing.
He swings his sword before the three on the right get even close. Suddenly from where he slashed, ice forms on the ground below, and freezes towards the three, encasing all but their head in ice. The archer releases an arrow at the kid. He looks back at the archer, and a block of ice erupts from the ground, blocking the arrow. The ice block begins moving toward the archer at a fast pace. He dodges out of the way, and reaches his right arm back, grabbing at an arrow. But the kid slashes the air, sending a slash of ice at the guy, hitting the arm he was wielding the bow in. This freezes the archer to a tree. The two remaining bandits look in fear. He notices this, and smiles at them.

???: Boo.
They drop their weapons and run backwards screaming, before bumping into a large elderly man. He has white hair and white chinstrap beard. He is incredibly buff, wearing a butler's uniform. He looks down at them with a serious face. When they bump into him they fall back onto their butts, and start shaking.
???: No need to be scared, he’s really a big teddy bear once you get to know him.
Bandit: R-right.
???: Now, I dont really like hurting people much, so can you like, tie yourselves up?
The bandits look around, more than half of them had been taken out of battle, by one of them, and now there's this buff grandpa.
Bandit: Yup mhm, on it!
???: Thanks hehe.
The kid begins to tie up the rest of the bandits, and put them in a storage space on the back of their fancy cart. But before he could finish, a kid jumps out of nowhere and attacks with his katana. He quickly dodges back, and he looks at his attacker. It's Hiro. Luna and Red follow from the woods, and take position.
Hiro: You're going down bandit!
???: Bandit? Oh I see, this is a misu-
Hiro stabs his blade forward, but the kid dodges slightly to the left, making his attack barely miss. Hiro continues stabbing and moving forward. The kid moves his body and head just enough to dodge, but not due to the fact Hiro is fast. Red runs in with his blade and stabs it in from the right of him. The kid takes a step back, dodging both and grabs both blades, and won't let go.
???: I hate it when people cut me off! I'm not the ban-
A golem comes out from behind, in swift motion. It punches towards him, and he looks back.

???: Enough!
He freezes the blades, and then Hiro and Red. He turns around and palm strikes the golem, freezing it.
???: I'M NOT THE BANDITS!
Reds blade glows, melting the ice around it, and the tip grows in toward him. Red's face isn't frozen over, but his chin is closed shut.
Red: Dwagon Swword Fweafst.
The tip catches the kid off guard, but ice grows off him, catching the blade before it hits him.
???: This power, its… Insignia?
He handles his hand upward to them, and they rocket back into trees, and there ice shatters but reform into restraints. Luna tries to run to him, but notices her feet are frozen to the ground.
Luna: When did that happen?!
???: Please, listen, I'm not the bandit. I'm just the poor guy in the cart they were robbing. I don't even know why they were trying to rob me. I'm broke!
Red: Hey Hiro.
Hiro: Yah?
Red: I'm starting to think this guy isn't the bandit.
Hiro: Same.
The kid and Luna facepalm. He releases them from ice and Luna unsummons her golem.
???: Well, thanks for coming to save us haha.
Luna: Where are you heading?
???: Tamriel, the Elune guild to be exact.

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
