Reed knew he couldn’t count on the wolves this time around.

He could feel their fear from where they were hiding in the forest.

But that wasn’t going to stop him. He was going to DESTROY this dragon.

The dragon, still groggy from the impact of the rock, looked at Reed.

And when he did, a confused look appeared on his face for some reason.

Reed didn’t care why he was confused, he didn’t have space in his mind filled with hate to care.

Instead, Reed put a leg in front of his body, and…

Disappeared.

There was no other way to describe the phenomenon that had happened then, other than saying he “disappeared”.

The dragon looked on, even more confused, at the place where Reed used to be. He did not seem to know what happened.

At that moment…

*BAMM!*

Reed appeared in front of the dragon, delivering a punch right to his chin.

The Dragon’s head went up. Reed, not missing this chance, jumped.

With the enhaced legs he used to run, he managed to jump up and over the dragon.

Arriving at where his head was, Reed quickly delivered a brutal quick to the top of the dragon’s head.

*BAAMM!!*

The dragon’s head went down, hitting the ground with an extreme sound.

Reed started to fall down towards the dragon.

In that instant, the dragon recovered himself and opened his mouth up towards Reed.

And then fire started to come out of his mouth.

Kuh!

Reed knew that if he was hit by that, he would die. And he wasn’t able to avoid it, since he was in the air.

He was frantically thinking of a way out of this situation, when…

GRRRRR!!

A wolf came out running, and jumped towards him!

The wolf then pushed Reed out of the way, and ended up getting he himself covered in flames!

AH! *Whine*

The wolf covered in flames got burned and fell to the ground, his fur practically destroyed

Reed landed on the ground, and his eyes went wide.

One of his precious friends died in front of him, and once more he couldn’t do anything to help.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

A scream came out from his soul. His vision went red, and a strage thing happened.

Reed had no way of knowing this, but at that moment…

His pupils transformed, becoming vertical pupils. Together with his red eyes, his eyes started to resemble a certain creatures eyes.

A dragon’s.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Still screaming in despair, Reed once again disappeared, and this time he instantly appeared behind the dragon.

Reed grabbed the dragon’s tail, and, using all of his strength and mana…

Launched the dragon into the air!

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Reed jumped up following after the dragon, going at an impossible speed, and got in front of his face.

He immediately started to repeatedly punch the dragon, his punches so fast they couldn’t be seen, and so strong they made thunderous soundw everytime they hit.

He kept punching, and together with the dragon, they kept falling towards the ground.

*KABLAM!*

The dragon fell to the ground. Reed landed on top of him, and kept punching without ever stopping.

He punched, and punched, and punched, until…

His hand went through the dragon’s head.

The momentum kept his hand going to the center of the dragon’s brain, where Reed felt something hard inside.

He grabbed the thing with his hand, and took it out of the dragon’s head.

He looked at it, and saw…

The dragon’s ether. Much bigger than any other ether he had ever eaten.

He put the ether on his mouth, and focusing his mana on there, he started to munch it.

And then he swallowed everything.

After swallowing the ether, he felt a strange sensation going through his entire body.

When the sensation reached every part of his body…

Reed passed out.
