Danger Danger
Everything froze. Even the wind whistling by as blood and brain matter splattered against Danger Danger's body and Dollhouse's headless corpse thudded to the floor.
"No," King gasped in a whisper as he gawked at the scene.
Danger Danger rotated her shoulders and started working out the kinks in her parts. She then closed her eye and took in a deep breath like she could actually breathe air.
"This is what outside feels like," she said more to herself while she glanced around in wonder.
"So you can talk?" Nara asked incredulously as she took a few steps towards the doll.
King reached out and latched onto his wife's elbow, "Honey. What'cha doing?"
She smiled back at him, "I got this." She started walking again and King reluctantly relaxed his hand and let go.
"Yes. Thanks to my creator." The doll answered her as she basked in the day.
"The one you just killed? You hated him or something?" Nara asked with a shrug.
Danger Danger looked sharply at Nara, staring seriously at the woman. "I loved my creator."
"Yet you killed him anyway."
"I did what I must."
"Then I will too. I won't let you hurt them." Nara coldly stated peering at the doll.
Danger Danger let out a scoff, "Those impotent human vessels?"
"My family." Nara said as she glared.
Danger Danger looked at her thoughtfully, "Well you and your family can move aside."
"You know I can't do that." Nara said as she lifted her arm up and reached her hand into the gold magic circle that appeared. She pulled down her long, pure gold axe hammer.
"I've heard a great deal about you Magics from my creator. That you can possess infinite power, as can I. However, unlike I, you fall victim to your stupidity for emotions. That weakness alone is why you will lose. Every. Time." Danger Danger stated, then grasped the two scepter blades from her hips.
The woman and doll had an intense stare off and in a blink of an eye were at each other with their weapons ready to swing.
Clash
A strong current rushed out from the connected duo causing the others to shield their eyes.
Clink. Clink. Clank. Sparks ignited as the two weapons thundered against the other. The two continued their battle, moving so fast you'd have to watch in slow motion to catch all the moves. Danger Danger swung her swords inwards and Nara stabbed her axe handle into the ground and jumped back. The swords crashed into the handle. Nara then grasped the top portion and leap up. Bending her knees in, she kicked out and smacked Danger Danger straight in the face.
The doll stumbled back until she caught her footing. She rubbed under her nose and oil dragged along her arm. She then glanced at Nara.
"This will not end well for you. There is an army of us and if you continue on this path, you and your family will die." She said.
Nara placed her hands on her hips as she tongued her cheek, "Or, you can go back to your little doll factory and we can just take you down piece by piece there."
Danger Danger's face cringed in just a little before she went back neutral and chuckled, "You are a funny one."
"I'm a mother. You've got to have a sense of humor." Nara stated as she extracted the axe from the ground and spun it around one-handed like a baton.

"Hmph," the doll chuckled, then one of her hair tentacles shot out.
Nara quickly raised her axe and smacked the tentacle aside.
It suddenly swung back for her, but she ducked as it passed. She then stood straight and struck her axe at the metal. Yet the tentacle just wrapped around the axe before it could hit. Nara and the metal tugged the axe back and forth, like they were playing tug-o-war.
Danger Danger jerked her head back and the metal whipped Nara high off the ground.
"Damn you," Nara gritted out with a growl, and then she held onto the tentacle.
Relying solely on her arms, she heaved Danger Danger up and off her feet. She arched the doll overhead and slammed her down. BOOM. The impact left the doll in a giant crater.
Nara used the tentacle she was holding to fling herself down with her right fist reeled back.
Crash
Danger Danger rolled over and slid away just before Nara's forearm punched deep into the ground. Stone debris sprayed out from around her arm. Another metal tentacle sprung for Nara. Nara leaned slightly to the right to let it wheeze by, then removed her arm, reached over and grabbed it. Clamping her hand together tight, the metal end snapped off and oil gushed out everywhere.
Danger Danger made a noise that sounded like a flat line beep screeching loudly and started retracting the damaged, wriggling tentacle back to her. Oil sploshed puddles along the ground as it went.
Nara however reached out and grabbed it again, yanking Danger Danger once again into the air and slamming her down. Nara stood there breathing deeply as everything went still, when suddenly Danger Danger lifted her arm and her hand burned a bright red. A pulse then rushed out from her and shook through everyone standing around, sending an involuntary chill down their spines.
There was a loud rumbling throughout the air and then the sky slowly darkened as dolls filled the sky over them and dropped down to the ground.
Danger Danger stood to her feet, keeping her eyes daggered on Nara. "Kill them all." She said and all the dolls went in to attack.
"Hey Ace!" Ivy called over to the mini giant.
"Yeah?" Ace called back.
"I bet I can take more than you."
"Girl bye," Ace laughed and waved the sand magic off, then smiled. "Alright bet. Loser does the others' chores for a week."
Ivy grinned and prepared for the herd running her way. She raised her right leg up and a blue sigil formed under her foot, then she stomped the ground. Sand spiked up straight in a line taking out the ones running in the middle. She then raised her right hand and a giant sand hand formed from the ground and smacked the ones to the right away. Lifting her left hand, a sand fist rose and hammered down the ones to the left.
On the other side, Ace was knocking down dolls left and right. He grabbed handfuls of dolls and smashed them together here and launched a stone chunk straight through a row of faces there. He grabbed a group and then molded them together into a giant ball. He grabbed the ball with his right hand and reared it back, then bowled it out crashing into more dolls. Strike!
"Let me in on this." Rockie said with a smile as he ran towards the chaos. A group of dolls suddenly circled around him.
He grinned, "Terrain foot light". He lifted his foot and slammed it down. The ground under him ignited and electrocuted the dolls around him.

Danger Danger and Nara watched each other daring the other to make a move. The doll bent her knees and her hair darted for Nara.
Nara twirled her axe one-handed and shifted it left to right swatting two tentacles aside. Then she swiped the head of her axe out and sliced a few more coming for her off. Murky oil spurted against Nara's face and clothes.
The doll released another screech as she reared her head back. She then shook her head and glared at Nara and forced the metals to continue aiming for her. More tentacles sprouted from Danger Danger's crown to replace the ones damaged.
Nara blocked as much as she could before one wrapped tightly around her stomach, rendering her arms useless at her sides. The doll hauled Nara high into the sky, and then slammed her down. BOOM. Danger Danger raised her up again and then drummed her along a row of trees, making sure to knock her face against the bark every time. Then she slammed her down, leaving her cratered in the cobblestone.
The doll slowly lifted Nara one last time. Nara's limp body flopped along with the motion.
"Tch," Danger Danger clicked her teeth, then arched Nara over and brought her down through the fountain.
BOOM. Crash.
"MAMA!" Rockie cried out and started to run for them, but stopped when King went to block his path.
"Ya mama got this." The master said, his face expression unreadable as he watched the two fight. He honestly wanted nothing more than to help her out, but she said she had it, and the guild knew not to get in the way when she meant business. 'Get up baby'.
"I told you how this would end. It is over for you." Danger Danger stated as she started strolling towards Nara, who looked almost dead among the ruined fountain. The doll looked over at the others.
Ivy was busy fighting a slew of dolls with her dagger. More were coming too fast and she was finally starting to break a sweat. Her arms were suddenly pressed to her body as a boomerang rope caught around her. She looked down at the rope then over to the doll who'd thrown it. She struck her leg back and kicked the doll in the face. She then took that leg in a circle and kicked the other ones around her in one move. She slid to a stop on her feet with her arms still tied down and looked at the other dolls getting ready to pounce.
Ace punched and flung the dolls back. One managed to jump on his back and wrapped her arms around his neck, making way for another one to hug his right arms together. Then more jumped on the man until they were football piling on top.
"This is the result to your path," Danger Danger said stepping up to the fallen lady. She slowly lent her head down towards Nara's face as she continued. "Your family is going to die, and you will die knowing that you are at fault for all of this."
Nara's arm suddenly shot out and punched straight through Danger Danger's face. Wires and circuits sparked as her arm exited through the back of the dolls head.
"You don't know my family," Nara coldly gruffed to the dead doll. Then her arm dropped to the ground as her eyes rolled to the back of her head. The doll rolled off of her arm.
'Alright magic, time to get soul bonding,' Ivy thought as she relaxed her body and closed her eyes. When Ivy opened her eyes, her sockets were replaced with bright blue lights. She started rising from the ground until she was floating mid-air with small grains of sand swirling around her body.
In an instant, a blanket of sand rose up, casting a great shadow over the yard. Each individual grain sharpened and started falling down before they were storming down on the dolls. The dolls on her end couldn't do anything as the grains sliced through them, leaving mushy metal piles on the ground.
With Ace, the dolls continued throwing themselves as they piled on. The pile instantly blew apart when Ace angrily jumped up and knocked them off of him.
"Fucking dolls," Ace growled as he saw them getting to their feet.
Clasping both set of hands together, he lugged his arms up and then pounded his fists to the ground. The power behind it caused the cobblestone to break from the cement and blast up and through the rest of the dolls. Their crushed bodies flung down.
The area finally went silent.
The doves took a breath once they were clear on dolls. Everybody immediately sprinted to gather around their injured guild mother.
"Step back," Parker ordered the crowding bunch as she kneeled beside Nara. She looked her over as she accessed her injuries. She then lifted her palm up to her mouth and puckered her lips like she was kissing, and blew out a wisp of gold dust that spiraled onto her open palm. She brought her hand over and waved it under Nara's nose until the dust slowly entered her body.
The cuts and open wounds on her face knitted back together, and then her eyelids fluttered before they slit opened. She would be good for now, but they'd have to soon get her to Doc to be fully healed. Parker was still learning.
When Nara's sight cleared up, a smile spread along her cheeks as she saw the fairy mage. "Hey baby. Are you okay?"
Parker huffed out a chuckle, not knowing if she wanted to cry or jump for joy. "I'm fine. The question is are you okay?"
Nara scrunched her face as she stiffly shrugged her shoulders, "I've had worse." She started to try and sit up, then grabbed the hand Parker outstretched to help pull her to her feet.
Once Nara was standing, the doves released a sigh in relief that she was okay.
"That was so cool, mama." Rockie laughed as he excitedly bounced on his feet, eyeing Nara widely with sparkling eyes.
"Yeah, babe," King said gleefully as he stepped to his wife and softly hugged her to him. "You were cool," then he whispered, "and so damn sexy."
Nara chuckled and playfully pushed against his chest.
The doves glanced around at the District yard, looking at all the destruction the battle had caused. And to make things worse, the fountain was completely destroyed. Debris lay in rumbles throughout and the fallen dolls' corpses litter the floor.
They sighed, this time in dejection.
"We just can't win for losing," King grumbled as he ran his hand down his face and left it resting on his beard.
Despite them being the heroes of the day, he just know the counsel weren't going to turn a blind eye about this.
Nara just smiled and looked to her husband. Her expression turned lovingly and she rubbed her palm over his chest, "Forget them."
Parker turned and looked out onto the destruction until her eyes landed on Dollhouse's body. Her heart started to weigh heavy and she lightly clutched onto the necklace around her neck. "Dollhouse was just a confused and abused man who just wanted love and attention for his work. He could've been saved. Instead, his life was taken by the hands of his creation."
"Whoa," K.O said from behind the girl with a mind blown visage.
"That was deep, Parks." Rockie added with the same mind blown visage.
"Maybe we can get ghost before we get busted for this," Ricky suggested, placing a cigar in his mouth and lighting it up.
The doves agreed and tried to gather themselves so they could quickly head home. Just when they were about to head off, they noticed a crowd gathered around the doors of the courthouse. They were just standing there, shaking their heads in disapproval.
Damn Busted

8 191Virtual reality: Sorp
Sorp is something bordering on what it is to be human. Perhaps he is more human. He has lived in squalor, his only family are the friends he grew up with. This is their journey through the new substitution for reality. In this virtual reality, they are given a purpose they never thought to seek out for themselves. To be more than hooligans. To be more than the bottom of the barrel. They do this in their own way. Unhindered by usual moral discrepancies. Ready to fight, kill and maim on a whim. Warning: This story does contain graphic descriptions of a sexual nature, violent fights, blood shed, gore and at times, crude language. There are also acts that are considered immoral or evil committed by main characters, so this story may not be for the faint of heart.

8 143The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
