Nobara kept mumbling to herself by the window while Hayabusa was sitting on the chair doing nothing. Yuu smiled nervously on the hospital bed.

"Just let her be. Woman, they look ferocious externally, like a tsunami but soft deep inside, like the tranquil flowing water of a stream," Hayabusa winked at Yuu.

Yuu nodded and jotted down his new knowledge on a small notebook he took from nowhere. Nobara was annoyed. She clicked her tongue. A rushing woman then entered the room and immediately hugged Yuu tightly. Yuu was peevishly annoyed by Yumeri's sudden arrival without warning. He tried to push her away but it was so unmanly of him to push her away harshly.

He stared at Nobara while trying to reach out his hand to her but Nobara looked outside of the open window with Hayabusa. They were pointing their hands at something then laughed annoyedly like a couple. Yuu was shocked and he had no idea how Hayabusa was able to stand closer to Nobara when he was beside his bed a few seconds ago.

"Yuu honey, I heard that you escaped just to save that woman!" Yumeri cried, then kissed his cheeks and forehead.

UWWEEEKK!!

"Couple," Nobara whispered to Hayabusa and he nodded afterwards.

"Hanazawa-san, can you, please- leave! I beg of you," Yuu clasped his hands together while looking at her with his watery puppy eyes.

"Alright! I'll come back for you, honey," she excitedly kissed his forehead and went to the door, "just wait for me, honey!"

The door slammed loudly. Yuu poured hand sanitizer onto an antiseptic wet tissue then applied it on his whole face. Yuu glared at Nobara and Hayabusa, who induced a spasm and laughed while touching their stomachs on the floor. Nobara's convulsion made her hit the floor with her left hand and her eyes flowed with a cascade of tears.

"Oi!!" Yuu shouted with irritation.

"Look at him, his face turns red," Hayabusa teased.

"Bashful," Nobara added.

"Stop it! I myself have no idea about her sudden perturbation," Yuu explained.

Nobara and Hayabusa blinked their eyes then stared at each other. They burst into laughter again not until an old male doctor entered and informed them that Yuu was allowed to return home. The doctor and the nurse bowed before they left. Yuu was glad to hear the news. With great happiness, Yuu stared at Nobara.

"Ehhhhhhhhhhh?!" Yuu was astonished to see Nobara and Hayabusa standing by the door, deserting him suddenly.

Hayabusa drove Nobara's sports car and Nobara stared outside without a specific purpose. Yuu in his puppy's form stiffly looked outside of the window, standing on Nobara's lap as his platform.

As they arrived at Nobara's hotel room, to their surprise, Nobara's room was blocked by a mountain of boxes of gifts that even the frame of her door was unseen. She hastily ran to it and stared numbly. Ryuuchiro and his bodyguards approached from the opposite side. He walked closer and smiled. Yuu and Hayabusa were annoyed and they prepared their arms to attack Ryuuchiro if he dared to do anything to her but stopped by Nobara.

Ryuuchiro kneeled on one knee and took Nobara's hands and kissed them, "My dear, please do forgive me. I beg of you for an apology for the unmanly thing I did to you today. It's an unbearable sorrow at the thought of losing you. This mountain of presents is a gift from me and my men as a symbol of apologies."

Nobara squatted in front of Ryuuchiro and put her hands on his shoulders as if he was her friend, "yes, I'm not ready to face the upcoming consequences in your absence. Without you, I won't get a lot of money and be unable to rejoice in an extravagant life."

Ryuuchiro hugged Nobara like a father did to his daughter. Yuu was literally shocked listening to her straightforward answers without filters.

Later, Yuu and Hayabusa excitedly unwrapped Nobara's present boxes like a small child. They made up a temporary competition on who could unwrap those piles of present boxes the most. Nobara sat on her red sofa by the window and massaged her forehead. She remembered the day when she was firstly brought to Kiirotori at such a young age by Ryuuchiro. He was very kind and even treated her like his own daughter even though he had a biological son, Tsukiyama. As she turned 16, she was surprised by the sudden engagement event held for her and Ryuuchiro but she had no choice, it was her father's decision no matter how much she loved Tsukiyama at that time. Regardless of that, her devotion for her parents was greater than her love for Tsukiyama.

Nobara, Yuu and Hayabusa went to the bridge of Photon in the middle of the night by car. Nobara still looked gloomy. Yuu realised it but dared not to interfere. This time, Nobara held her M134 machine gun after such a long time isolating it. Hayabusa used his golden knife knuckle duster and swung them to warm up. Meanwhile Yuu, just transformed himself into a little puppy.

A hundred metres from the edge of the bridge, a fully armed gang of vampires appeared.They were hundred of them and each carried swords and clubs and charged forward. Nobara and Hayabusa ran forward heading to the approaching vampires. Nobara sprinted while firing her M134 to the vampire, turning each of them to a lump of dust. Hayabusa's speed of punching the vampire was so quick that even a bare eye couldn't see his arms swinging.

Yuu sat numbly and watched them slaying vampires. He looked at Nobara's stern face, slaying the vampire with fury. Yuu blinked at the speed of light to Nobara and bothered her. Before Nobara could fire her machine gun, Yuu struck them with his thunderbolt. Nobara stared at him but he whistled and acted innocent. Nobara aimed her gun again at the vampires and again, they turned to dust at ±0.0001 seconds. Nobara was totally pissed that her battle was interrupted.

Yuu whistled and looked at his sharp small claws with awe, stretching his paws. Nobara lifted her M134 ahead then the whole vampires turned to dust, leaving swords and clubs on the tar floor. Nobara eventually lifted her M134 like a club and approached Yuu. Yuu ran away while whining pathetically with Nobara chasing him from behind, lifting her machine gun to the air. Hayabusa and the vampire stared at them with a speckle of sweat flowing slowly on the back of their head. Hayabusa stared at his opponent then punched its chest, penetrating his hand through it.

Yuu stopped as he faced the concrete barrier of the bridge. He turned behind and looked upon Nobara's glowing red eyes. She aimed her machine gun at Yuu then fired. Yuu covered his head and rolled into a ball and closed his eyes tightly. He opened his eyes as the sound stopped. Nobara fired at the vampire which crawled from behind the barricade. She glanced at Hayabusa and jogged to him.

"Is that all?" Nobara asked.

"Sure does," Hayabusa wept the smeared blood on his knife knuckle duster with the cloth of his yukata.

Yuu jogged with his four limbs to Hayabusa.

"Let's go back to the hotel and get some bath," Hayabusa walked away, waving his brass knuckle duster then followed by Nobara and Yuu.

In the car, Nobara frequently changed the radio station as most of the songs pissed her off. Yuu jumped on Nobara's lap excitedly then stood against Nobara's chest and barked, sticking his tongue out. Nobara glared at him with her predator eyes. He sat on Nobara's lap silently then stared at the windscreen.

"Hayabusa-san, where did you get that realistic lion head? Did you make it?" Yuu asked, breaking the silence.

"Ohohoho, this isn't a mere custom made lion head, this is a real lion head," Hayabusa laughed.

Yuu swallowed his saliva but insisted on asking questions due to his inquisitiveness.

"Well, before I became a sentinel, I worked as a lion protector in Africa. I love lions so I feed them and nurse them if necessary. Lions are kind and lovely animals. Not until one day, I unintentionally killed the alpha then the whole pack massacred me. So this is the head of that dead lion, replacing my crushed head and my organs were replaced with machines so I became a cyborg only my memories were embedded in my head, taken from my crushed brain,"

Yuu nodded his head.

"Yes, very sad. But they massacred him because they were afraid of a human becoming their leader since he killed the alpha," Nobara interrupted with a monotone voice.

"That's not it!!" Hayabusa screamed.

Yuu and Nobara immediately burst into laughter.
