《My Little Husky Assistant》Chapter 6: Ryuusoukutsu Village

"Who was that old freak?! He really got on my nerves and, and- he kissed you," Yuu with his human form cried while walking backward and forward. "Wait, is he your sugar daddy?"
Nobara threw a thick hardcover book at Yuu but he was able to dodge it. She leant back on her red couch, massaging her spinning head. She stared at Yuu with disgust.
"He's my fiance and a good friend of my late father. We were engaged when I was 16," Nobara explained, then wiped her RPG beside her with a towel.
"Fiancé? You love him?"
"Of course not, it wasn't my plan to be engaged with an old man like him. He thought that it might be good to inherit the tradition, it's to marry one's daughter or son to strengthen friendship. Mother was his father's best friend's only daughter," Nobara's face turned red.
"He what?! He has no right to do so, you might have someone you love who you want to marry one day," Yuu kneeled in front of Nobara then took her hands then gazed upon her predator-like eyes, "Nobara-sama, I'm here to support you. If you need me, just call my name."
Nobara looked at him while raising one of her eyebrows. She smacked his head with the towel in her hand. She stood up then stripped herself. Yuu's face immediately turned bright red as he looked at the back view of her fair and smooth hourglass-like naked body. Her fat sexy fair thighs and her fat bum. Nobara glared at him without turning her body, then ordered him to prepare her bathtub. Yuu stood stiffly then ran into the bathroom like a cheetah.
_______________
"No-Nobara-sama, where is this Ryuusoukutsu Village that you mentioned before? I think that we're on the wrong path," Yuu nervously said while clutching his hands like a girl.
Nobara drove her car without giving him even a single attention. Yuu looked at her with his bashful red face. He kept thinking about her fair white skin and her soft skin when she asked him to rub her back. He just wished to fondle her small breasts when he had an unconquerable time.
He looked at her stern and serious face as if something was perturbing her mind. She paid no attention to him, he thought that it might have something to do with her upcoming marriage with the old freak. Yuu leant against the window then started daydreaming while looking at the fast moving scenery outside of the window.

They entered a junction with two trees crossing each other as the entrance. The road was dark and only lit by the crimson moonlight and each side had thick trees. The complete silence and darkness made Yuu shivered, he dared not to sneak out of the window. He transformed into a husky then embraced his tail on the passenger seat. His heart throbbed as if a ghost appeared before his eyes. The horror and the need of consolation overwhelmed him, he couldn't close his eyes calmly from now on.
Nobara stepped on the brake pedal then got out of her car. Yuu was terrified that he followed her from behind. Yuu was astonished by the great number of tombstones everywhere when it was supposed to be a village. He barked at Nobara once then she told him the cemetery was the village. The residents were near the graveyard. There were many bungalow traditional Japanese wooden houses but there was nobody there; everyone was inside.
Nobara wandered through the cemetery while carrying her RPG on her back. She summoned Tsukiyama with her blood after cutting her wrist with a cutter. It was quiet and a heart throbbing event. Yuu wished that he would never come but he had to as her personal companion. With that stern face, she looked like a heroine in a game carrying a RPG who would slay zombies in a single blow.
They wandered through the cemetery for more than fifteen minutes already but still had no sense of life detected. Nobara ordered him to use his wet nose to find the vampire's nest which would be somewhere around the area. Yuu sniffed every pebbles and every small mineral which were scattered on the pavement made of brick. Her vigilant eyes paid great heed to the cold and dark surrounding.
She heard a soft hissing sound from her back then immediately took her RPG. Her sweat trickled down her neck then waited for another sign or hiss. With great awareness, she immediately turned back and wielded her RPG vertically to a creature which was armed with a wooden nail club. It was a mere fat greyish vampire with sharp teeth and pointed ears. The battle started with them wielding and swinging their weapons like swords.
The vampire's red eyes glowed then it smirked like an orc. It smacked her head with its club then kicked her hardly. She flew further away then hit a tree, creating a smoke of dust. She spat out blood then stood with a grin. She ran to the vampire then hit it with her RPG before it could defend itself with its club. It fell flat on the ground. She stepped on its chest with one foot then shot its forehead with her antique pistol then it turned to ashes. Yuu came back running from the other side of the hill.

"Nobara-sama!! I came to save you!!" Yuu barked but disappointed as he saw the grey dust underneath her feet.
"Let's get going. We're going to demolish their nest," Nobara put her RPG onto her back.
"When are you going to use that ammo? You didn't use it during my first mission with you, owh wait for me!" Yuu asked while crawling with his small limbs chasing after Nobara who strode with her long legs.
Nobara ignored him. Yuu stopped then stared at her with sorrow then chased her. They went up to the hill then down to the steeper side of the hill. There was another cemetery at the other side but the tombstone looked a millennium years old and some tombs were dug and even had poisonous invertebrates living in it. The putrefying smell of the grave was unbearable. They went down onto the pavement of the graveyard then walked at a slow pace.
Nobara stopped then smacked the stone pavement which created a huge hole. Yuu was surprised, his body was trembling and his fur stood and his face was white, his eyes were round with no iris then his jaws were wide open. Nobara jumped into the hole without any longer thoughts. Yuu panicked then sprinted around the hole like an athlete running on a running track. With very little courage, he jumped into the hole to save Nobara.
He landed flat on his face on the ground. He staggered with both of his ice blue irises rolling randomly but not symmetrical to each other. He shook his head then looked ahead. There were hundreds of vampires in the lair but they didn't pay much attention to him because something ahead distracted them. Yuu glared and focused on the main distraction and saw Nobara being tied up. A hefty grey vampire with incandescent red veins showed on its body teased Nobara with a laugh. It grabbed Nobara's face and squeezed her cheeks then it licked her sweaty face. She grunted in disgust.
"A hot sentinel," the vampire said, then rubbed her thigh with its long fingers then tickled her upper thigh with his pointed nails, "before we suck every blood in you and eat your guts, it's best to rock your body first until it bleeds!"
The disgruntled Yuu wretched then immediately created lightning with the flow of his anger. He turned every vampire in the lair into a lump of ashes. The vampire turned back and was surprised by the overpowering little dog who vanquished all of his followers in a single strike of lightning. His eyes were glowing with blue coloured blaze and the lightning kept buzzing and humming around him. Being defenseless Nobara kicked the vampire right on its ball then it kneeled on the ground holding his banana. Nobara pierced the vampire's left shoulder with the heel of her red high heel shoe.
"How did you enter and what is your purpose?" She asked with a rough manner.
"Hahaha, I won't tell you, just kill me. Sacrifice is a must to forbid any betrayal," replied the vampire with a smile.
Nobara was pissed then stunned the vampire with her RPG.
Half an hour later, the VSO armies came in full armour and armed with cursed guns. The vampire was apprehended. Yuu looked at every army, he kept asking himself how they were able to use cursed weapons. After the VSO left the venue, Nobara and Yuu returned back home. On their way, Yuu kept talking like a machine gun.
"And how are armies able to use curse weapons when they aren't sentinels? And how can they wear such cool black uniforms, unlike you who only wear a sports bra and a fitted skirt everyday!" Yuu lectured like a mother.
Nobara hit his head with her hand. Yuu stroked the part of his head which hurt.
"Curse weapons are only used amongst the VSO members or soldiers. It's the technology used in Japan for slaying vampires where every weapon has a 'house' for demons or spirits to reside in it. Well, not all sentinels use curse weapons. And, you can sleep with me later BUT in the form of a dog," Nobara added without looking at him.
Yuu smiled then nodded.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
