Author's Note: Okay folks. So you all might have heard about my eye problem in my notice right? My time typing is very limited and at the pace I'm going, I can upload 1 chapter only every 2 days. So much for Daily updates huh? Hope you keep reading and reviewing my story.~~KingD
[Arianne]
What? What? What the hell just happened here? I know all of us weakened it but that thing probably had more than half it's HP remaining and HE took it out with a single skill? . I couldn't believe what I had just seen.
It was impossible unless he was at a much higher level. I faltered and asked him while chewing on my lower lip.
" What's your level?"
A mischevious glint appeared in his eyes but they faded just as quickly and he frowned at me.
"Stop changing the subject Arianne. What the fuck is a Helios mage?"
I let out a small gasp as I heard the question again , realizing that it was not my imagination when he asked me the first time. In fact, there was no possibe way he would have known about it. It was even protected by my Skill Shroud skill.
Nobody had broken through it before. How on earth did he-? I started panicking and beads of sweat formed on my forehead as David cut in again.
"I'm waiting... and I'm not a patient guy you know." David added in a monotone.
I glanced at Alice. She remained silent, but it was obvious that she was siding with David in the argument. Moreover, she was holding all the loot from the Goblin Lord.
David noticed my gaze and sneered at me, "You want the loot? Sure, no problem. If you fess up, that is..." and he let his words hang in the air for a while. I looked around nervously. I had levelled up 4 times after the boss had been slain but deep down, I knew that I would never be able to escape them.

I sighed dejectedly and said in a defeated tone " It's my Godly profession. My saviour Helios granted it to me when he brought me here... In simple terms, I'm a Saint. What? Whats with the look. Haven't you heard of Saints before?"
David and his sister were both giving me stupified expressions for a while and then Alice breaks the silence," So you're an otherworlder too?"
This time I was the one with the stupified expression. I knew the Gods had called on people from other worlds and there were a few Saints present right now but they were the first Saints that I ever met. To be honest, I never expected them to be Saints.
"Did your patron give you a name?"
"No. Not really. He just sent us here without a word. But Gods? Really? Its not like I dont believe you or anything but why do these Gods need us to help them?" David said with a worried expression. Alice nods her head to his question.
"Helios said something about a faction battle among themselves and something about not being able to intervene directly in the battles" I replied with an equally worried tone. " Haven't you guys activated your professions yet.?"
"What? You activate them?" Alice asks me wide-eyed. I nod my head furiously in response. I see both of them conferencing for a while.
"okay. We believe you. How do we activate our professions?" said David.
"Just press the word Profession on your status window" I replied, trying to suppress my joy on learning that the imminent danger was now over. Alice looks over at her Status Window and makes a pleased gurgle but David just frowns.
[Alice]
I listened to Arianne and after talking with Dave for a while, I decide to try it out.

"Status Window!" I whispered

I pressed Profession on the status window.
Available Profession: Holy Assasin

If I recalled correctly, Signya was Loki's wife. I frowned. But the guy who saved us was a guy...
A new window popped up .
*ding*
Your status will now be updated to that of your selected profession, giving all the necessary stat bonuses
Congratulations! You have become a Saint for Signya.
( KingD: I'll show the updated status later. No time now)
I called up my Status window and my eyes nearly bulged on seeing the new changes to it. The stats were higher than ever before.
I lokked over to David who was just grimacing with a frown on his face. Something was wrong
Author's Note: Wow! I'm practically crying right now. Yaaagh!! Too much strain. No pain though. Fear not! Updates will take place at a slower pace from now on. Every 2 days possibly, till my eye gets better.

The Rebirth of a Emperor
An Emperor reaches the end of his days, exiled and living in misery in a faraway land together with his entire dynasty and some friends from his time of rule. He regrets never being able to return to his beloved country and wonders if he made the right choice by leaving his throne to avoid a massive conflict but tries to comfort himself knowing many lives were spared. As he dies however, visions of a strange future appear as if to answer his doubt, making him shed tears of remorse, for his country's fate is not a good one after him, making his end truly a miserable one. However unexpectedly, his eyes open again to a place never seen before to a people he had no recollection of, in the embrace of a woman he at first has no idea of who it was. This strange, absurd situation quickly makes him realise what just happened, he does not know how he came to grasp the situation, but something made him understand this: This isnt his world and there is no turning back, no way to see his homeland again nor his family. In this horrible realisation, he cried, much like the infant he was now, marking his rebirth to this new world, which he saw as a punishment from God for his actions. ----------- Note from author: this story is the first i ever published, so please, to anyone who takes an interest in it, have a bit of patience with me and if you can, give me a bit of good old criticism. For now i will publish small chapters for i am not very confident in this, but as i write more and gain some experience i will release longer and better ones. Also English isn't my mother language so any advice or correction is welcomed.
