《Re:Hammer - The Hammering》Chapter 29

Ok, whoever made these leathers was evil. She was going to frigging bite Filnon next time she saw her. Or, maybe not. The woman would get off on that probably. Still, the way these straps rubbed at her was just perfect enough to make her smile in her heart. It reminded her of her training back at the convent, and those memories just made her cheeks flush with embaressment to know she was once so stupid to be tricked like that. Every step into the wastelands made her more and more aroused, and that was not a good feeling when they were going into zombieland. Some twenty minutes into this, she was distracted from her distraction.
"You know you can just ask for it if you want~" Elou's whispering voice came in her ear. Emia shot one of her revolvers in the cat's direction, but she was gone before the bullet hit.
"Ask for what?" Emia growled, somewhat thankful to be pissed off, it helped her focus.
"I'm a Daemon, I can sense emotion. And you, my dear, are riled up to the brim with a needy desire to be bent over and fuc-" Elou was cut off by another bullet. It slammed into the cat's head and knocked her back, though she just rolled her head back and let the bullet drop to the floor with narry a scratch. "How rude" Elou commented. "Also stupid, they are drawn to sound" Elou continued, pointing in a vague direction. Nothing came for a few seconds until a bloated corpse lumbered into view and, seeing the two, let out a shriek.
"Fuck" Emia spoke, pulling out her rifle and doming the creature with a round. Her Prey-Sense was lighting up with creatures all around her, and she span on the spot, a three round burst taking down three apporaching creatures. "Do your thing so we can get out of here!" Emia exclaimed, though Elou seemed to be in no rush.

"Mmm, I love the blood you are spilling~ Maybe we should get-" Elou was cut off again, this time by a blast of Holy Fire from the Living Saint. Growing irrate, Elou blossomed into her full Sainthood form, and lit the area on fire with the clensing flames of her God Emperor before returning back to her standard form.
"Do. Your. Damn. Job" Emia exclaimed, putting heavy emphasis on every word. Elou, who had come out of the flames more or less unscathed, stuck out her tongue and walked over to one of the dead bodies.
"Ohhh" Elou spoke. A simple thing, though seemed more confused than anything, so Emia turned to see what the trouble was and found Elou to be dissolving.
"What...what is happening to you?" Emia asked. The blast of fire had dealt with the first wave, but there was a second coming close behind it.
"I....I am not sure. This hasn't really happened before" Elou replied, watching her hands fade away into nothing.
"If this is some kind of trick...!" Emia growled, charging her bullets with fire and launching explosive rounds into the horde.
"Please, my tricks are far better than slowly melting into nothing" Elou replied indignantly as her clothes fell off her dissolving frame. "I will try to get back as soon as I can, but I have no idea what is going on so I-" Elou was entirely dissolved before she managed to finish, leaving Emia alone to fend off the horde. She tried most vigorously, but it was all for naught, and they closed in closer and closer. Releasing her Sainthood, Emia clocked onto the fact that she had wings now and could just fly away from the situation.
"Ohh....durr..." she muttered softly, releasing a second shockwave of holy fire and then soaring into the sky to fly back to her people and guide them. Hopefully, out of the Underhive and back to the emplacement that she needed to report to. Dying horribly was bad.

Taverns edge - A mercenary's guide to Ley Line traveling
The taverns edge is a fiction that centers around a pair of unusual friends. A mercenary that happens to be a princess of fae, but prefers to stay in a well-known établissement instead of staying in the Sidhe. Moira. Being half a dragon doesn't really help getting along with snobbish elitists at her mother's court. Like all sidhe she likes to strike a good deal... Which has led into many a disaster... Though she always tends to get by, especially when she gets home to the Tavern on the edge. The mentioned établissement is run by the formidable Barkeeper and jack of all trades Tora, who happens to have a very interesting past. Which involves more than one sinister secret... Now add to the mix a totally clueless elven girl - a mortal, not a fae- on the run. Lunara. She has unknowingly struck a deal with the devil - quite literally. Now unable to handle the consequences on her own she enters the tavern on the edge. An epicenter for magic and the only place where she might find help. She talks Moira into helping her out. A race against time begins as the deal's symbols appear on Lunara's skin. The journey leads to the dwarven empire, the sidhe and wherever the crossing leylines under the tavern may lead. This fiction belongs to the same universe as Ancient Blood. English is not my native language, so please don't be harsh. This story is an adaption of an idea, that we, a friend of mine and me, have developed over a few months while taking a break from learning. Some parts were written by Emberspark. Thank you for allowing me to work with your ideas and letting me publish this as a whole. Updates... I will try to frequently update both of my fictions... Well in case you are interested I post it on Scribble hub, too. I really don't steal from myself 😂
