Jboluick's tower. Small on the outside and bigger on the inside. An organized place, bookshelves were organized, books as well. Utensils and bottles were neatly placed on a table. The cauldron was polished like a new set of armor. The place was neat and clean.
The place was messy and dirty. The bookshelves were destroyed as they lay on the ground. The books were all scattered, some were torn, wet, and destroyed. The utensils and glass bottles were all scattered and destroyed as well. The cauldron seemed to stumble and had cracks everywhere.
It was like a thief robbed the place. The work of an evil person. But it was none of them.
Chapter 10: A Wizard's Guide to Raising A Child------------------
"How did this happen?!?!" R shouted in disbelief at what happened to the tower. "The person who did this must be powerful and diabolical! Someone evil! Someone so stupid or smart to mess with Jbolui-"
Jboluick interrupted him by tapping his shoulder. He then pointed to a little girl sitting near one of the broken bookshelves. She was covered in water and potions. R looked at the child then back to the room then back at the child then back to the room.
"S-s-sorry…" She apologized, whilst sniffling her nose, on the verge of crying.
"…" R failed to comprehend. Jboluick just sighed.
"This is going to be challenging" He said bluntly with a hint of frustration. R…didn't respond, still comprehending what happened.
"Don't worry little one, people make mistakes" Jboluick tried to comfort her as he hugged her. "You are having a hard time because of the loss of your mother. So, it's okay to cry."
She then silently cried on Jboluick's shoulder. Patting her back, Jboluick carried her as he made a bed out of nowhere and put her down on it. After a while, she fell asleep as Jboluick tucked her in. Then, Jboluick used his magic to fix and move the stuff in the room.
This was two days after the fight at Dundee. R asked Jboluick for a favor. He asked him to raise his…or rather his ex's daughter. R's mask was still broken and his left hand was replaced with a wooden hand.
Rico, a rather big rat, went up to R, climbing onto his shoulders.
R finally gained back consciousness as Rico squeaked and curled on R's shoulder. His eyes immediately went to Rose, his ex's daughter, and his child. He wanted to smile because he could finally have the chance to talk to his daughter, but he, like all others, was scared.
"Why don't you want to talk to your own child?" Jboluick asked, his face, annoyed.

"I-I…why would I? After all she's been through! I'm just a stranger to her. I'm, I'm…a disappointment…" R replied. "you're right…I am a fucking disappointment. I don't even have the courage to talk to her."
R then started tearing up. Jboluick could see that, he sighed.
"Come here…" Jboluick offered him a comforting hug. R accepted that offer and cried. 'I'm not raising one child. I'm raising two.'
Rico looked at Jboluick with anger. 'Please don't say that to dad….'
'It's true'
'…' Rico had nothing to retort with and just curled further in R's shoulder.
R crying took a few minutes before he reclined.
"T-thanks dad" R said, rubbing his eyes.
"No problem…" Jboluick was about to leave before stopping and noticing something. R followed.
"W-what was that just now?" Jboluick stuttered for the first time in his life. His eyes were wide because of what R said.
"....." R's brain malfunctioned as he also heard what he said himself.
"I'm…I'm just going to get some…milk" Jboluick, as surprised as R, left.
"…" R said nothing for a few minutes. "Didn't we just get some milk earlier?"
R gained consciousness for the second time. He looked left and right to see if Jboluick was there. He wasn't. R just waved his hands and he and Rico disappeared without a second's notice.
---------------------------------
Two days after that, Jboluick and R met at the former's place. The two were sitting down on a chair on opposite ends of each other. Rose was playing with Rico outside the place.
"So…how's raising Rose going for you?" R asked.
"…." Jboluick was rather sleepy. He had eyebags showing. R noticed it.
"Not good?"
"Not good." Jboluick hastily said.
"What happened?" R tilted his head.
"What's the difference between Breast milk and Cow milk?" Jboluick countered.
"...…." R was silent.
"I'm surprised you managed to convince Rose to live with me." Jboluick stated. "She is a good girl. Yesterday she was nice. We kind of bonded. But there is one thing that I know that she is your child."
R looked at Jboluick with curiosity.
"You both have a terrible sense of humor and a knack for being fast, hyper and obnoxious...like you..."
R nodded.
"And you both are quite noisy. Once we got to know each other better, she started trusting me. And…that led to that." Jboluick informed R. "I'm surprised Bog has 203 children and can still walk."
"Wait...Bog has 203?!?!" R shouted. "I thought he had 200!!"
"That is because he just had another son. His…70th wife I presume." Jboluick informed.

"WHAT!?!?!" R shouted louder as he stood up. "HOW!!???"
"Oh, he wrote it to me in a letter." Jboluick said with a smile as he opened his hands wide and out of nowhere a letter appeared.
"BULLSHIT!" R screamed at Jboluick with anger. "I write to Bog all the time!! And why doesn't he give me a letter?!?!"
"Because if he does, you will barrage him with a flurry of letters." Jboluick said bluntly.
"AND HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?!" R asked angrily.
"It's said right here." Jboluick pointed to the end of the letter.
"P.S. Do not show this to R, I will not send him a letter because he will barrage me with a flurry of letters."
"Motherf-Hello kiddo!!" R stopped, as he suddenly saw Rose with Rico on her shoulder and greeted them with a smile.
"Hello Mister!!" Rose greeted him back. A neigh was then heard behind Rose.
"W-what was that?" R asked, still smiling but was now sweating.
"Um….." Rose tried to explain, putting a finger on her chin. "My pet!"
"And where is it?" R asked again, still smiling again.
"Behind you!" Rose said with a hint of shock. R looked behind him and found no animal. R was now confused, he turned back to where Rose was.
She was with Rico…
…
And an abomination. And that abomination was being petted by Rose.
"Hey Jboluick…" R started, turning to him, smiling and sweating profusely. "What did you do?"
"I did nothing" He replied bluntly with a blank expression.
"Then who…or what is that?" R asked, pointing to the abomination now playing with Rose and Rico.
"Her imagination." He replied again bluntly. "I noticed that she took one of my books. I bet she used that book and made that creature. She's got potential."
"….." R failed to comprehend. Rico then went down Rose's shoulders and went to R's, slapping his face in the process, gaining consciousness. The abomination had the face of both dog and horse. The body had a composition of a bear's but no fur and it had wings like a wyvern. It also had the legs of a chicken. As well as the tail of a cat. The skin had a rather darkish brown hue to it.
"Hey Rose, what will you name him?" Jboluick asked happily.
"I think" Rose thought. "I think I'll call him...Abomination!"
Jboluick was flabbergasted, but he did not show it. R was the same as Jboluick. Abomination though, was happy. It jumped and jumped, licking Rose with joy. R's stomach began to churn.
"Hey J." R said. "Is that a boy or a girl?"
"Why are you asking someone who does not even know? Also don't call me that!"
"Sorry" R mumbled with a hint of regret and after a few seconds, it turned into an excited face. "Hey Rose!"
"What?" Rose asked, Abomination stopped licking her.
"Knock, Knock"
"Who's there?"
"Ash"
"Ash who?"
"Bless you" With that, Rose then laughed. R soon followed, chuckling at first before falling to the ground and laughing. Abomination fell upside down, visibly it looked like it was laughing as well. Noisily, it sounded like a dying bird/dog.
"Great…three of them." Jboluick facepalmed. Rico, who was on R's shoulders as he fell down, went to Jboluick's side and squeaked, agreeing with him.
----------------
After that, Rose went back to play with Rico and Abomination outside. Leaving Jboluick and R alone again.
"Oh yeah! I forgot!" R remembered. He brought out a cotton bag out of thin air. He took something from inside of it. A book, he then gave the book to Jboluick. "I think you can learn from that."
Jboluick looked at the title of the book.
'Parenting a child for Gay People
By, Georgi Ox'
Jboluick merely raised an eyebrow to R.
"What?" He asked, "That's the only thing I saw in stores about raising a child that isn't yours!"
Jboluick just sighed and reclined further in the chair.
"Well at least it's better than what you gave me for my birthday." Jboluick stated. R, embarrassed, just scratched his head and mumbled in agreement.
----------------------
Meanwhile, in a camp, far from them.
"General." An orc commander said as he saluted. He had a small right hand and a big nose. He was also bald. He was also wearing armor from the chest down.
"Commander." The general was none other than Greed himself. The two were inside a tent where they were preparing plans.
"The army will be ready in one month! The fastest way inside the Fjallheim territory is through Hauenber Valley which is guarded by three fortresses sir!" The orc commander reported.
"Good." Greed replied.
"B-But there's a problem first!" The orc commander said.
"And what is it?" Greed asked.
"One of the fortresses…." The orc commander began sweating. "One of the fortresses is the infamous Super Fortress Everest."
Greed merely grunted. "Put all your manpower there. I will take care of the other two."

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun.
