Zio watched the massive endless blue sky with wide eyes, fascinated by it, he never imagined the world to be so big, this is all new to him, the boy who lived his whole life inside a tiny village near Mount Asura and didn't even experience the life in the city, finding out that world looks endless from here realized just how powerful his ancestor really was.
For a single person to dominate this whole endless world, he must have been an existence similar to gods for normal people like him, the bird suddenly turned around and introduced Zio to another thing that he was curious about, the mounting itself.
When he looked at it he was surprised, the other half of the mountain was nothing like the bottom half, while the bottom half below the clods was cold and snowy, the very top part of it is green and filled with life, there was some snow at the center but not as much as the lower part of the mountain.
Zio found it weird, by theory the mountain top should be the coldest area but here it is totally different, there is greenery everywhere and there also seems to be a sign of a thriving ecosystem up here.
Zio didn't feel cold at all right now, he could even breath will all the trees present on top of the mountain, for a second Zio is completely lost in the scenery in from of him, it looks like a paradise compared to the world below.
Soon the vulture started to fly higher, it was about to take Zio to its nest where its babies are, Zio snapped out of his thoughts and looked down, he was still high up in the air, he just needs to get a little closer to solid ground before he takes any action.

He pulled out an obsidian arrow from his back and broke the arrow, leaving only a little wood on it which fitted in his palm, he wanted to puncture the vulture's leg with this and keep it there, so it doesn't remove it instantly and chase after him again.
Seeing so many trees and bushes he knew he had a chance to escape, as the vulture flew higher and got closer to solid land, Zio and gripped the broken arrow in his hand and got ready but he was about to get the shock of his life.
Suddenly he heard a roar that shook him to the core, he looked in the direction of the sound and saw something he had only seen in pictures and heard in stories written thousands of years ago.
An actual dragon, Zio careful looked at this dragon, it is massive, it has large wings on its back, its wingspan should be about 20 meters, it had a massive head with sharp teeth coming out from the side like a crocodile's, a long neck connected its head to the body and it also has a very long tail with sharp spikes at the end, its scales are blue in color which shimmered under the sunlight.
Seeing the dragon the Wind Vulture suddenly panicked and changed its direction and shot towards the thick forest, the dragon didn't seem to mind at all and charged being the vulture, now it became a chance between prey and a predator, on one side is a massive wind vulture but right now it is the prey and on the other side is the predator the dragon, the beast of the legends.
Zio watched helplessly as the dragon got closer and closer, the vulture was no match to the dragon's speed, it chased the vulture down no matter how many turns in did in the air to lose the dragon, it seemed like the dragon is actually playing around, with its speed it could have easily caught the vulture and tore it apart but it didn't.

Zio could see the ground below but he felt helpless again, if he tries to escape now, he will go crashing into the group with speeds that are beyond his comparison, the vulture is flying so fast that everything is a blur to Zio except the dragon that is getting closer and closer.
Now the dragon is right behind them, Zio closed his eyes as he saw the massive jaw opening to bite down on the vulture but the vulture suddenly used its power to control the wind and made a very sharp left towards the mountain top, Zio watched as the dragon shut its jaws close which caused a thunderous sound and energy.
This sent a shiver down his spine, the dragon just closed his jaw and it generated so much power, the dragon soon continued the chase but this time it didn't come from behind, it suddenly increased its speed and appeared right next to the vulture, seeing this the vulture panicked and tried to swiftly move away but it was too late.
Zio suddenly noticed that the claws grip on his loosened and he was falling down very fast with it, he looked up and noticed that half of the vulture's body had completely disappeared, he looked up and saw the other half is actually in the dragon's mouth, it all happened very fast.
The other half of the vulture's body started to fall down at very high speed straight towards the mountain top, Zio grabbed onto the claw tightly, he had no other choice, if he abandons his current position he would crash into the hard ground and splat, he would turn into meat paste.
After a few minutes, the vulture's half body crashed into the hard ground, the body cushioned the blow but Zio suffered a very bad jolt which concussed him, Zio looked at the bloody body below him, he got out of the claw wobbling, his head is hurting badly, he fell on the ground and started to craw towards the closest tree.
After reaching it he rested his back on it and looked around, everything is blurry due to the concussion, the only thing he saw before he fainted is the silhouette of the dragon getting closer to the vulture's body.
