《Demons and Candy》Chapter eleven

Candy’s POV
It was the next day, and I was just laying there, at some point someone had come in and dressed my wounds, forced fed me, and cleaned me up a bit. Thankfully, they didn’t change any of my clothes I had on, and unfortunately my hair was still caked in blood and sweat. I didn’t know how long I had been laying there, but I was thinking that this is how I’m gonna spend the rest of my life, locked up in here to be tortured every day, unless someone does come for me, but will I still go back to Bakugo? Will he still want me? Love me? Cherish me?
3rd POV
Dabi walks into the room, and Candy jumps up, his wounds screaming at him for doing so. “Missed me?” Dabi grins. Candy shuffled against the wall, leaning on it, shaking his head no. Dabi acts hurt, “damn, that hurt my feelings.” He chuckles a bit. Candy wanted to retort, but after remembering what Toga did to him after he said something, he decided against it. “Has anyone told you about our fun activity for the day?”
Candy hesitantly nodded, “Shi...ga...raki...said….something about it.” He says, his voice barely there.
“How about we begin then? Get straight to the point?” He hums. Candy stayed still, not knowing what to do, all he could do was grip the chains his hands were in. “I would have done it anyway.” He grins, walking towards Candy. He backs up to the wall, as far as he can get.
Back at the camp
Bakugo woke up and groaned. Opening his eyes, he expected to see Candy, but all he saw was a pillow in his arms....he started to panic, throwing the pillow away, standing up. “Candy?” He shouts, as loud as he can.
Shoto stirred, hearing someone scream, he sat up. “Bakugo? Why are you screaming so early in the morning?”
“Candy’s gone.” Bakugo says, panicking as he looks at Todorokie.
Shoto looked at him, “maybe he just went to go get breakfast,” He suggests.
“He would have told me if he was.” Bakugo grumbles, as he gets up and begins to get dressed. Shoto sood up, and began getting dressed as well. Once they were dressed, they walked out, and Shoto saw the girls staring with huge eyes, looking frantically around the camp.
He taps Uraraka on the shoulder, “what happened?”
She looks up, feeling a tap on her shoulder, “Todorokie! Noya’s missing!” Shoto’s eyes widen, as he starts looking frantically around the camp as well, only to spot two missing flashlights in the girls' rooms. He looked at Bakugo, pointing at the space where the two flashlights should be.
Bakugo’s eyes widen, “where’s Candy?”
Momo shook her head, shrugging. “I haven’t seen him, nor Mina.” Once Bakugo heard this, he growled at the others.
Shoto’s eyes widen, as an idea pops into his head. Something was telling him to go to the clearing, so he did, not questioning the gut feeling, “I think I know where they went!” He shouts, over his shoulder, as he runs towards the clearing.
“You know where they are?” Bakugo asks, following Shoto out.
Shoto shakes his head, “not completely, but I think we’ll find a lead there, follow me!” He shouts, still running. Bakugo nodded, running after Shoto. Once they got to the clearing, they began to look around for clues. Shoto’s breath was shallow, “look for missing flashlights!” He shouts to whoever followed. Bakugo started looking for flashlights in the west behind some bushes, and Shoto ran to the northeast side of the stream. Shoto ran back to the main part of the clearing, with no news, hoping Bakugo had found something.

Bakugo had moved to the southeast, and gasped when he saw the flashlights and blood. “Hey half n half, get your ass over here!”
Shoto’s head snapped towards Bakugo’s voice, running towards where the voice came from, he panted, arriving by Bakugo’s side, “what?” Bakugo pointed a shaky finger at the flashlights and blood, not wanting to think about the fact that it could belong to Candy.
Shoto followed Bakugo’s shaky finger, his eyes landing on two flashlights, lying on the ground, their lights were flickering on and off, which both pointed to a small patch of grass, with red on it, “blood.” He walked towards it, and crouched down, touching the blood, looking behind him at Bakugo. “It’s old, probably from last night…” He blinks, as something comes to mind, “you don’t think…?” He asks, trailing off, not wanting to finish the sentence.
“I-I don’t know…” Bakugo mutters, eyes wide.
"We should inform the class and Aizawa-sensei," Shoto said, grabbing one of the flashlights, turning it off.
“We don't have time,” Bakugo argues. “Plus he won't let us help if he knows about it.”
Shoto looks at Bakugo, "What do you mean?! We don't know where they are, we only know this, our teacher should know as he is also the guardian of Noya!" Shoto growled out. "Who said we were gonna sit out of this" He asks, his eyes, darkening.
Bakugo growls, “Fine, Aizawa-sensei isnt gonna let us help through.”
Shoto nods, turning back towards the direction of the camp, "Leave the other flash light" Bakugo nods and walks towards camp, freaking out on the inside, not wanting to let anyone see him freaking out.
They both arrived back at camp, only to find Mina crying. Shoto walked over to them, “where was she?”
“She was knocked out behind some bushes,” Jiro explains.
Shoto looked at her, "Who did it?" He asks, his grip tightening, causing his knuckles to turn white.
Bakugo growled, “well pinky? Who did it?”
Kirishima growled at Bakugo, “Toga, Himiko Toga.” He spats out, as he wraps an arm around Mina.
Bakugo growled, “it was the League of Villains?” Small explosions emitted from his hands, and Shoto’s quirk acted up, freezing a small portion of the ground, his eyes going cold.
With tension in the air, Aizawa finally appeared in the hallway, and Shoto turned to him. “Aizawa-sesei, Candy and Noya are missing.”
Aizawa looked at them, “who?”
Shoto growled as he spoke, “the LOV took them.” Before anyone could say anything, all three of their phones went off at the same time. Shoto looked down at his phone, “someone sent me a video.” Aizawa nods, saying he got one too.
“Me too.” Bakugo says, confused as to why they all got a video. Shoto took a deep breath as he clicked play, same with Bakugo and Aizawa.
It loaded, it showed Noya tied to a chair looking through a glass. She was screaming her head off, and she was crying as well.
Shoto growled, "What are they showing her?!" Then he looked up at Ai-sensei "And why is she the only one there?!" He looked at Bakugo, "What are you watching?"
Bakugo looks up with tears in his eyes “dabi r-raped candy” he whispers as he drops his phone and his fists clench together. Explosions set off all around him as he growled. “We have to find candy”

Shoto's eyes widen as he and Ai-sensei rushed towards Bakugo's phone that was still playing the video, once it was in they're line of sight, Shoto brought a hand up to his mouth, he felt like vomitting, Dabi was raping Candy against a wall, blood, there was so much blood. Before the video could go on, Aizawa turned off the phone, he looks like he wants to kill someone
“We have to save him,” Bakugo growls, explosions going off. The class just stared at them, too far from them that they can't hear them, but close enough to see them. Shoto fell to his knees, he didn't know how to feel, Noya was watching one of her friends getting raped in front of her, while the other was getting raped. Shoto ran outside, vomiting out little of what he ate last night, and Bakugo was shaking.
Shoto stood up with shaky legs, "Wh....why is this happening?!" He wailed out, tears slowly streaming down his face.
“I don't know” Bakugo mutters.
Aizawa looked away from the class, his hand clenching at nothing. The class was shocked, the two most powerful classmates they knew, are looking so... vulnerable. Shoto snapped his head at Aizawa, "We have to do something sensei!!"
Bakugo looks up “for once I agree with half n half.”
Aizawa look at Shoto dead in the eyes, "We are trying our best right now, but they left zero trails, we don't even know when they striked the camp" he growled out, "We're basically SITTING DUCKS" He screamed the last two words out, only then did the tears start falling.
“It won't hurt to look! If you won't do anything than WE WILL” Bakugo shouts.
Shoto was shocked, he never thought he'd see the day his sensei would cry, looking at how hopeless his teacher looked, Shoto crumbled to his knees, trying to think of something, anything that would give them a clue. Shoto looked up, "Does Candy have his phone?" He addressed Bakugo.
“He should...why?”
Shoto looked up, grabbing Bakugo's phone from Aizawa's hand, his hand shook as it hovered over the play button on the video, steeling himself he pressed play. He ignored what was happening in the video, and looked around for Candy's half burned pants, spotting it, he zoomed in, something shinned underneath his pants, Shoto looked up, a sparkle of hope in his eyes. "His phone is still intact!!" Shoto exclaims, he looks at Aizawa, "We can track him.”
“How?” Bakugo asks, dumbly.
Shoto looks around, he thought, "You have his number right? We can bring it to someone who can track a phone via their numbers" he looks at Aizawa, "Do you know anyone sensei?"
Aizawa thought, "We have to go back to school tho." Shoto nodded and sped back to his futon, he started packing, and Bakugo ran to pack his bag as well.
Shoto looks up at Bakugo for a minute, “here.” He says, handing Bakugo his phone back. He then looks up at Bakugo, meeting his eyes, “what’s gonna happen next?” He asks, crying again, breaths short and ragged. “They don’t deserve this…” He whispers, gripping his hair in frustration.
“We’re gonna get them back.” Bakugo assures him, “I don’t know how, but you’re right, they don’t deserve this.” Shoto nods, picking up his bag, walking out of the cabin with shaky legs. Bakugo grabbed his bag, as well as Candy’s, following Shoto out.
They nodded to Aizawa that they were ready, as Shoto felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Tsu holding two bags, handing one to him, “here it’s Noya’s.”
He took it with shaky hands, gripping the bag tight;y, he gave a bow towards Tsu, “thank you.” Aizawa was already heading to one of the cars the pro’s brought. Bakugo glanced over at Shoto, and he looked back at Bakugo, showing he knows Bakugo is looking, “yeah…?”
“Is Mr. Aizawa gonna let us go, or do we gotta sneak out?” He whispers.
Shoto shrugs, “let’s just follow for now, see how it plays out, we can call the shots from there.” He said, following Aizawa to the car. Bakugo nods, heading to the car as well.
Once the three of them got into the car, they stayed silent for about ten minutes, their attention soon going towards Aizawa who cleared his throat, looking at them through the rearview mirror, he began, “if I said something along the lines of you’re not allowed to do anything, you’re gonna do something regardless aren’t you?” Shoto broke eye contact, but still nodded nonetheless. Bakugo nodded as well.
Aizawa grins, “good, I was gonna ask y’all both to come on this mission anyways.”
Shoto’s eyes snapped back to Aizawa, “really?”
Bakugo looks at him wide eyed, “oh thank god, that makes everything so much easier.” He mumbles.
Aizawa chuckles, his eyes going back to the road, the air changing, it’s game time, “do you remember when Candy woke up and left your side last night?” Aizawa asks, addressing Bakugo.
“I think it was sometime around two AM.” He responds.
Aizawa nodded, “did he say anything to you? I doubt you would stay asleep if he wasn’t in your hold.” This made Shoto smirk lighty, he found joy in the fact that Aizawa knew that someone could make Bakugo soft and cuddly.
“He said he was going to the bathroom and slipped a pillow in my arms” bakugo mutters blushing and looking away.
Aizawa looked back for a moment, “does he know where the bathroom is?” Shoto shook his head, knowing that Candy was asleep the whole time.
“I dont fucking know,” Bakugo shouts angrily.
Aizawa glared at Bakugo for a moment before continuing, “you found blood right?” Bakugo nods in response. Aizawa nodded, taking a sharp breath in, “did Noya look injured in the video Todorokie?’
Shoto shakes his head only to realize something, “that was Candy’s blood…” He whispers out.
Aizawa nodded, “they probably had to knock him out to bring him with them.” AIzawa concludes.
Bakugo’s fist clenches, “they are all fucking dead when I get my hands on them!”
Aizawa nods, “well not before I kill them before you do.” He sasses.
Bakugo nods, “Dabi’s mine.” He hisses.
Aizawa shrugs, “let’s see who gets to him first.” Bakugo growled, and stared out the window, hoping, praying Candy would be ok, while Shoto was also hoping, praying that Noya would be ok, until they could get there.

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.
8 182Chains of Dominion
If Jake wins the local Fantasy Tactics Online tournament, he’ll have everything he’s ever dreamed of — a ticket out of town and the attention of a beautiful woman. However, this woman has more planned for him than a bus ride to the local metropolis. She teleports him back to her Realm and declares him her Master… and says it’s up to him to save the world. No pressure. Rival Dominions vie for power, and they are all far larger and more organized than Jake’s rag-tag group of women, but he has two advantages: the rules of this world are eerily similar to those of Fantasy Tactics Online, and his wildest dirtiest sexual fantasies act as a power multiplier for his all-female army. Warning: The heroes have intense tactical battles, wild kinky sex, and near-constant flirtation. The villains are disturbing and cruel. If the idea of villains doing bad things bothers you, please do not read books ever, but especially don’t read this one.
8 258The Fall
Perhaps the most well known of all devils, demons, or fallen angels is the one known as Lucifer, Satan, the Father of Lies. The cultural influence of this figure throughout history is by no means small. Despite that, it wasn’t until the time of Milton’s classic – Paradise Lost – that we saw an attempt to portray a dramatized version of the events leading to this figure’s fall from grace and power. And while this is the case, Paradise Lost is not about Lucifer – though it goes into great detail about his potential musings. No, Paradise Lost was, and still is, about the fall of mankind. So, in light of this, and the feeling that the classical story deserved another telling, I present to you all The Fall – a story focused particularly on Lucifer’s fall from grace and his musings both before and after.
