Time skip, after every body changed to their PE uniforms

Candy's POV

I walked out of the school and to the gym Aizawa-sensei told us to go to, arriving there I spotted familiar white and blue hair.

"What do you think we're gonna do?" I asked Noya, standing beside her

She shrugs, "I don't know"

I dropped the topic and moved onto a different one, we didn't get far with our chat as Aizawa-sensei stood on top of a platform,

"I'm sure some of you know a lot knows what's going to happen, but for the sake of the new students, I'll explain. We are going to be doing a quirk assessment test like last year"

"Oh shit" I heard Noya, muttered out

"That's so manly!" Sharky shouts

And the classic, "Prepare to lose extras!" From out resident Pomeranian

I stared at Noya, not expecting her to curse, "That's a first" I muttered out.

I was about to chat with her once more, only for her to raise her hand, grabbing the attention of Aizawa-sensei,

"Is it ok if I don't use my quirk or at least a way?" She asks, her hand still raised.

Aizawa-sensei shrugs, "I don't care what you do, just try your best and don't fail." He then smiles, "Cause if you do, you'll be expelled"

If Noya froze, I wouldn't know, I turned to her, "What is your quirk anyway?" I asked, my head titling a little.

"That's not important" She replied, voice called

I nodded, raising my hands in surrender, "Noted, touchy subject" I muttered, then i realized she was looking at something...or someone.

Following her line of sight, I landed on a boy with white and red hair. I smiled, "He's cute"

"You think everyone is cute." She rolls her eyes

I shake my head, "No, I don't. That purple man looks like shit. Excuse my language" I sassed

She chuckles, shaking her head slightly.

"Where's the lie tho?" I grinned at her

"There ain't no lie"

I laughed

"But I do wonder who he is tho" She said, looking at the red and white haired boy

I gave her a questioning look, "You don't know?"

"No"

I hummed, "He's Todoroki Shoto, an up coming big three of UA." I glanced in between them, "You both would look good together, not gonna lie"

"Oh..." Was all I got from her, so I added something else

My fist clenched, "My second cousin from my dad's side" I muttered

"Oh cool"

I nodded, crocodile tears falling down, "He probably doesn't remember me."

"Why?" Her eyes still on Todoroki

"My family stopped visiting Japan when Endeavor started becoming rotten" I said, glancing at his face, my eyes landing on his scar, "Wonder if he did that" I muttered, jaw clenched

Noya nods, "Oh I know him, my parents talk about him a lot"

"Who? Endeavor?"

She nods, I got curious so I asked

"What do you think of him?"

She looks up, finally ripping her eyes away from Todoroki, "He's a lot like my parents...a horrible person that should die a slow and painful death." She growled lightly, venom dripping from her voice. I nodded, getting why her quirk was a touchy subject.

Then I noticed something, her eyes turned, black, like pure black, "Cool eyes"

"Huh?" She titles her head at me

I pointed to my one of my eye, "Your eyes, it turned black for a split second." I said, my hand falling back to my side, my eyes closing a bit.

"Oh uh shit...no they uh didn't. Sorry I have to go" She muttered, before walking away

I opened my eyes, "I mean with all this sugar....." I trailed off, only to see her walking away, "Noya..." I clicked my tongue, "Great, you did it again Candy" I growled to myself, fist clenching.

Noya's POV

I walked towards a bench, seeing Candy walk towards the broccoli looking boy, his head was down, I made no move to comfort him, I only continued walking away, sitting on the bench, I brought my knees up to my chest, curling into myself.

I sat there, curled into myself only to see someone approach me, they sat down beside me, keeping a reasonable distance from me.

"Hey" They greeted

I jumped a little, "O-oh...h..hey" I muttered

"You ok?" They asked, "You look like you had a fight with Wong there" They continued

"Y...yeah, I'm fine" I lied through my teeth, "Plus that wasn't a fight"

I could feel them giving me the look, I buried my face deeper into my knees, I heard them let out a sigh.

"Oh, right, I'm Todoroki Shoto" He, Todoroki introduced

I looked up, taking his hand in my shaking one, "N-Noya" I replied

He gave me a small smile, "Nice to meet you Noya"

I nodded, "You too." We stared at each other a bit longer, only to hear Aizawa-sensei call out.

"Alright class, we are going to be doing a 500 meter dash." Aizawa-sensei announced

He nodded, standing up, "Come on, let's go"

I nodded, standing up, reminding myself to not use my quirk.

Walking back to the front of the podium, I made sure to steer clear of Candy, I still wasn't ready to face him at all.

Aizawa nods, seeing all of us, "First up will be Bakugo and Wong, get to the starting line"

I see Candy and Bakugo approach the starting line, they look like they were talking about something.

3rd POV

Candy walked towards the starting line, he looks towards Bakugo, "You ready Mr. Porcupine?"

"Yeah, so get ready to lose extra" Bakugo grunts out, making Candy giggle softly.

"Start!" Aizawa shouts

Candy starts to sprint, easily gaining a head start due to his long legs, Bakugo following not far, with the help of his quirk to boost him.

Candy looked behind him as he heard the explosions, he grins, dropping a caramel candy on the ground, making sure to step on it, seeing this a look of confusion flashed before Bakugo's face.

Candy smirks, the caramel candy growing 10 times its original size,

"Bye Mr. Porcupine!" Candy shouts, passing the finish line.

Bakugo stares, jaw clenched, "Shit, shut up stupid extra" he mutters, passing the finish line soon.

With Candy passing the finish line first, that leaves Bakugo in last since there was only two people in the race. Candy giggled "sure Mr. Porcupine"

A machine beeps and Aizawa looks at Candy "a minute and 30 seconds for you, not bad," he than looks at Bakugo "for you two minutes and 45 seconds" Aizawa than looks at a clipboard than at the class "next up Kirishima V.S. Mina"

"Better luck next time Mr. Porcupine" Candy chuckles. Bakugo just tch's and rolls his eyes.

"Racing a girl isn't manly through" Kirishima whines as he looks up at Aizawa.

Candy's POV

I walk up to Sharky "come on Sharky, what would you do if the villain's a girl?" I ask him.

"Well that's different, it's a villain, Mina isn't a villain" he tries to explain to me but I just shake my head and chuckle.

"It's called imagination Sharky" I said while doing the SpongeBob imagination motion. Kirishima groans and goes to the starting line while grumbling. Aizawa tells them to start, and Mina uses her quirk to slide on the ground, and passes Kirishima as a result. Kirishima sighs and runs faster since his quirk was of no use for the race. Mina ends up finishing first with two minutes and 25 seconds.

Kirishima crosses the finish line soon after "losing is so not manly" he whines.

"But continuing it is manly, even if everyone knows your going to lose," I say as I walk up to him and pat him on the back.

"Yea, maybe your right" Kiri exclaims while grinning, and I grinned back.

"Next up is Noya V.S. Todorokie" Aizawa-sensei says.

"Good luck Noya!" I say as I walk up to her, giving her a small smile. "Also I'm sorry" I add feeling bad about earlier.

"T-thanks and there's no reason for you to be sorry" she says as she walks to the starting line. I follow her because I'm not done talking.

"I crossed the line, I can tell" I say looking down to avoid looking at her. "Well you best get going. I'll be cheering for you from the side lines!" I exclaimed while patting her on the back. She just nods as she reaches the starting line.

3rd's POV

Shoto walked up to the starting line and nodded at Noya "good luck"

"Same too you" Noya says to him.

"Start!" Aizawa shouts.

Noya began to run and repeat over and over not to use her quirk even if she ends up losing, using her quirk would be too dangerous. Shoto had ended up activating his quirk, using his ice side and turned his side of the floor to ice and gliding on it, effectively passing Noya. Noya just ran as fast as she could. "You can do this Noya!" Candy shouts from the sidelines.

Noya's POV

Thanks to all the 'training' my parents put me through I was pretty fast, although too much running and I would vomit, for I was far skinner than I should be. With the ice underneath Todorokie's feet it was obvious that he would win and he did. He passed the finish line first, with his time being a minute a minute and 10 seconds. I finished about 30 seconds after him, so my time was a minute and 40 seconds. I ended up getting queasy and held my stomach, running on an empty stomach isn't very fun.

"Noya!" Candy shout jogging up to me, "are you ok?"

"Yea, f-fine" I lie and look over at Todorokie, he looked concerned in the distance. "I'm just gonna sit down" I mutter walking over to a bench and sitting down.

"You don't look fine, come on let's go see recovery girl" Candy says as he follows me and tries to convince me that I'm not ok.

"No don't worry about it" I didn't wanna risk her or anyone else finding out about my scars.

"...." Candy sighs, "fine, but if I think your getting worse, I'm taking you there"

I roll my eyes as I sit down on the bench "I can't go see her"

"Why so?" I ask, giving her a stern look, trying to show her I was serious. "Are you hiding something?"

"Can't say" Candy gave me a look that said he wasn't gonna give up and offered me a piece of candy. I just look away "no thanks, it'll just make me nauseous."

"It'll help you surv-" he stops mid word and blinks "have you eaten?"

"Yea" I lie.

"What did you have for breakfast than?" He asks while crossing his arms.

"Uh..." I think for a moment "eggs"

"...You hesitated, please" he pleads "please tell me the truth."

"I can't"

"Why?"

"Because I just can't"

Candy's POV

"Is it because of your parents?" I ask, than realize my mistake "shit" I mutter under my breath. Noya stands up and walks off with tears falling down my face. 'YOU IDIOT!' I scold myself in my mind, as I watch Noya go sit on a different bench by herself. It looked like she was trying to hold in her tears. I got up and walked over to Shoto "hey...I kinda fucked something up, can you talk to her?" I ask, while scratching the back of my neck. I was hoping he could relate to her a small bit since his dad was trash as well.

Shoto's POV

I nodded my head at Candy's request and walked over to her. I hated to see her cry. "Hey" I said sitting down beside her, but making sure to leave space between us.

"H-hey" she mutters while quickly wiping her tears away.

"You good?"

"Yea" she says and I can tell she's lying.

"I can tell your lying, but I'll ignore it, since you seem to not like to talk about it" I said as I glance at Candy who looked really sorry. "Y'know he didn't mean any of those" I said as I turn my attention back to her.

"Sorry," she mutters "and yea I know"

"Don't say sorry, you must have a good reason for hiding it right?" She just nods and looks at the ground. "Ok, how about we get pass this topic. How do you like U.A. so far?" I ask, as I glance at Candy who still looked very worried.

"it's ok, I guess" she shrugs.

"When did you and Candy meet?" I ask giving her a small smile "even through you seem to hate him"

"We met on the way to U.A. and I don't hate him, he is very nice.....which is why I'm trying not to get too friendly, it would only hurt him"

"I don't think he'll care, I think he just wants to help you"

"Well I care. I don't wanna hurt him or anyone else...that's why I don't have any friends."

"That's what I said the first time I came here" I tell her as I look back at the field to find our classmates doing different course and Aizawa-sensei sleeping.
