Ryan is the first one to wake up in the morning. He found a bed to sleep in, but Mindy chose a comfortable spot on the carpeted floor and sprawled out with a few of the couch cushions.

Before waking Mindy up, Ryan takes a bath. The warm water is refreshing, but gives Ryan flashbacks of being pulled along by the muddy water on Grassy Island. Regardless, he pulls through and cleans his body to a degree acceptable in a pre-system world.

Instead of waking up Mindy by kicking her, Ryan sets out a breakfast of scrambled eggs, country fries and ham, bacon, and very light coffee. A few minutes into eating the breakfast himself, Mindy stumbles into the dining room.

"Smells goo-" Mindy beings to say, but projectile vomits on the table and the food Ryan's displayed.

"Mindy!" Ryan yells and flips the table into the ceiling. It comes crashing down, throwing food and vomit and dishes everywhere, but none of it gets on Ryan or Mindy.

"I'm sorry," Mindy says and walks runs out of the room holding her mouth with one hand and her stomach with the other.

Ryan returns to the living room and sits on the couch after replacing the cushions. Mindy's doing something in another room, probably vomiting more, and Ryan is bored, so he buys some things from the shop to entertain him.

In addition to these, Ryan buys a few CD's from his favorite bands and inserts them into the CD player. A few second later, he remembers the house doesn't have electricity, and buys a portable CD player with built-in speakers.

A few minutes later, Mindy walks into the room with her hair messy as a broom. "Can you make me a bath?" She asks, and Ryan nods before following her into the bathroom.

After making the bath and stocking it with new soap and hair care products, Ryan returns to the living room to listen to his CD's. Most are old rock songs, but some are soul and Motown.

Half an hour later, Mindy comes walking out of the bathroom wearing her Ultra Woman spandex cosplay and a towel around her hair.

"Don't ever let me drink vodka again," She says and sits next to Ryan on the couch.

"I'll keep that in mind," Ryan says. It's been a few weeks since he's heard these songs, and he switches to Walk on By, by Isaac Hayes.

After a few minutes of listening to the CD player, Mindy is the one to speak.

"This is a nice song," She says, leaning back and enjoying it.

"Yep," Ryan says. When the song finishes, he replaces the CD with on by Led Zeppelin.

"Are you ready to go?" Ryan asks after a few tracks play.

"Just a few more hours," Mindy answers, laying back with her eyes closed.

"Alright," Ryan says and adds a handheld videogame to his shop.
