On the western shoreline of Fighting Island, the young woman looks on with horror at the huge sea monster progressing across Grassy Island. With her enhanced senses, she can see it’s monstrously huge body sweeping its arms through the Detroit River to push water onto Grassy Island. When the water calms, the monster jumps again.

The woman jumps too, to avoid being hit with the blast of the impact of the monster hitting the ground. Because she’s standing close to the water, some of it splashes on her robes.

‘Damn, I’ll have to wash them again,’ She curses, thinking about how hard it is to find a good place to wash her robes. However, he thoughts are cut short when a black jellyfish jumps from the water and lashes out with four claws in her direction.

The woman zips her laser sword in front of her body, cutting the jellyfish in half and covering her robes in black goo.

“Damn it!” She yells and slashes six more of the jellyfish that come flying at her. As she does, she also tries her best to avoid the falling corpses of the jellyfish. Unfortunately, not everything can be avoided and her precious cosplay is covered from the shoulders down.

The woman gets an alarming sense to her right, and she steps left just moments before a spear flies through the place she once stood. This is not the end, and soon dozens of spears come flying at her while she defends against the jellyfish. She retreats towards the center of Fighting Island, which helps against the jellyfish, but the spears continue to fly at her.

‘They don’t stop!’ She internally yells as the spears number almost a hundred soaring through the air. At her current position where the jellyfish cannot reach her, the woman raises her hand and motions to the right. The result is all the spears in the air making a sudden change in trajectory, and they harmlessly impact the ground to the right of the woman.

The spears continue to fly from the river, but the woman easily pushes them away with a flick of her wrist. The giant sea monster jumps again, and the woman jumps to avoid its impact. As she is in the air, she can see flashes of light accompanied with small booms coming from above Grassy Island.

‘Someone’s using a gun,’ She things and enhances her vision even further so that she can see that dark figure floating in the air. ‘And they’re flying!’

The woman wants to investigate the flying person over Grassy Island, but is much more concerned with the giant sea monster. At a wave of the giant monster’s arm, its three large tentacles come crashing into the flying person. The woman cannot see what happens to them, but the giant monster prepares to jump again.

The spears are easily redirected into the ground, and the jellyfish are easily killed, but the woman cannot say anything about the giant monster. It moves tons of water with ease, and jumps hundreds of feet into the air.

The giant sea monster reaches the end of Grassy Island, which is no longer existing in the path of the monster, and it falls into the water. The monster swallows water in its mouth at the front of its body, then ejects it through the back, further pushing it into the water.

A few minutes later, the giant sea monster is causing a similar disruption at Stony Island. As the monster’s distance from Fighting Island increases, the assault from the strange jellyfish and spears lessen, and the woman gains the chance to look at the remains of Grassy Island. Where once stood a wildlife refuge, there was now a wider section of the Detroit River.
