When Ryan's stomach painfully requires food, he climbs a few ladder rungs from the zombies and checks his status. With the ice pick as his weapon, Ryan was able to kill many more zombies. Eventually, though, the horde of zombies at the bottom of the manhole thinned. To solve this, Ryan started dropping his glasses from the water he bought from the shop, instead of placing them at the top of the manhole.

To satisfy his hunger, Ryan uses 60 credits to buy a cheeseburger and a glass of water, one at a time.

He still hasn't checked the 'Armor', 'Skills', or 'Hacks' categories. From where he hung on the ladder, armor would do little good for Ryan. The same thing with weapons, which was why he didn't expand that category more. A gun might be more powerful, but Ryan didn't want the extra noise to attract something from above. Instead, Ryan opens the 'Skills' category.

Just like the other categories, there is nothing. To populate the category with the first skill, Ryan tried to imagine himself thrusting with the ice pick.

Ryan is slightly disappointed that the skill isn't for something more broad, but he buys the skill anyway. This leaves Ryan with 4485 credits. Since he has so many credits, Ryan takes a few minutes to think of skills he wants.
