Complete silence fell into that room. The Yao Matriarch just froze with her mouth open, just
After Yao Zi eyes closed completely, her body just fell back down lifelessly. The clan doctor Fu Hua quickly held the Yao young miss wrist to check on her condition. No movement could be seen, no breath could be seen being taken in, no pulse that could felt. Even the green worms that had been seen wriggling across Young Miss Zi skin had stop moving.
Slowly moving his hand away, clan doctor Fu Hua closed his eyes. The Yao Matriarch turn to the clan doctor for any glimmer of hope that her only child still had any chance of surviving this ordeal.
"Matriarch, you may want to speak any words you have left." Fu Hua spoke with a low voice, as he stood to the side.
"Everyone leave me alone with my daughter" With lifeless tone in her voice, she order everyone.
Clan doctor Fu Hua close the door on his way out. With only the Yao Matriarch and her daughter left alone in the room. Yao Li's hand caressing the side of daughter's face.
"My poor daughter." Tears leaking out from her face, as she felt her world falling apart. "Through all the pain and suffering that I've been thru. You're my sunshine in my life."
*sniff* *sniff*
"I actually hated you, when I found out that I was pregnant. That all my dreams for the future was cut down because of you." Venting out not as the Yao Matriarch, but as Yao Li's guilt inside of heart. "But Mother was happy when I saw your face for the first time. That you were and will be the most precious thing I'll ever have in my life." Remembering back then, all the hardship Yao Li had to suffer thru.

"Mother had and will never regret having given birth to you my dear." Choking on her grief, Yao Li pour out her heart. "Mother only regret was not being able to give you the bright future you deserve" Yao Li place her head onto where her daughters leg would be, as she cried.

Hours have past since the time the Yao Matriarch was left alone with her child. As night begin to cover the sky in darkness, the Yao Matriarch herself had cried herself to sleep as she had not left Yao Zi's room. No one in the Yao clan dare to intrude on the Yao clan Matriarch while she mourn for the loss of her child.

Yao Zi's eyes open in the darkness, slowly raising up in a upright sitting position. Her eyes wandered around the room briefly, and then try to lift her hand towards her face. Only to see on hand in front of her, while another was still being held firmly by someone. Which cause Yao Zi

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.

Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.

Red Street Daybreak
August Samuel Hatch was born under an inauspicious pattern of stars. It's granted him what is widely considered the most unlucky of inconveniences: becoming host to a powerful but pernicious spirit that will act as his guide and protector--and one day end his life. Sairne is sworn to stand by August's side and, when the fancy strikes her, advise him, all in the service of atoning for a past life she can’t remember having committed a grave enough offense to earn her soul indentureship in the mortal realm. Bound by a celestial contract neither one can negotiate, their fates are all they've ever known. But in a city ruled by religious right and where magic runs deep as bedrock, their search for a missing friend leads them to a dark conspiracy that could transmute the very magic that binds them to their fates, and that might grant them the ultimate choice: do they save the city or save themselves? Cross-posted on Wattpad and Ao3. For fans of fantasy YA story beats if they starred adults instead, 1920s inspired setting, lots of banter, larger cast of characters, somewhat soft magic system. Completed, but being actively edited prior to posting! I'm the only captain on this ship, so mind any errors.
