《Mega Cringe: Dab》Chapter RIP - SoundSky Rapper

The main hall was huge. It felt like they entered a palace rather than a school. One could get lost in this vast forest of pillars. Luckily for them there was a map and directions everywhere they looked. There were classes for everything but the class that caughts Terin eye the most was “Sound Waves”. It was vague but Terin hoped he could learn something there. He had trouble countering people who used sound to fight. In theory it was quite simple, just shut up the opponent or plug your ears. But one was difficult to execute while the second one weakens you greatly. The school building was huge. It took them 30 mins to reach their destination.
Once they arrived to their destination they met someone waiting in front of the classroom as well. He had rainbow coloured hair tied in a manbun, with random tattoos all over his body. He was shirtless yet wearing a thick coat and his pants were sagged so low you could see his entire underwear. They approached him and heard him mumble something.
“Hey is this the right class?”
The mumbler clenched his teeth and spoke through them.
“Somebody hold me down before I beat this little shit. How dare you interrupt my fire rap?”
“Rap? You were just mumbling. What's your problem?”
Before an answer Terin first got a punch in the face. The punch came quickly and made him stumble back. Straight after the punch the mumbler backed off and pulled out a Gat.
“You'll regret the day you messed with Lil Gun 69. Now that I have my hand on my fat its over.”
Without any more delay he unloaded the clip. Terin was quick enough with the block dab and remained unharmed.
“Huh? Dabbing in 2k19? And with such efficiency? Guess you got some skills.

LilGun69 suddenly lowered his head and started mumbling again. Most of it was incomprehensible, the few words Terin was able to make out included hoes, money and guns. It was strange but he was wide open and Terin wouldn't miss this opportunity. Running up to his enemy he chained the power dab into a punch. But before he could hit his opponent his hand stopped. An invisible forcefield blocked him. Terin wouldn't give up just from 1 failure and kept punching but the result was always the same. As he kept wailing the smile on LilGun69’s face grew larger. Suddenly a shockwave erupted and Terin was pushed back.
“Haters like you only make me stronger!” - The tattoos on his body started glowing. - “Ey bruh, check out my mixtape. It's fire!”
Before Terin could reject a cassette tape was flying towards him. It was slow and looked harmless so Terin didn't bother to dodge it. The moment the tape touched him it exploded and set him on fire. Once again the distance between them increased. LilGun69 didn't bother getting any closer, he reloaded his Gat and started shooting while yelling “Pra! Pra!”. Terin was defenseless on the ground so there was no way for him to defend against it, but luckily he wasn't alone. Copy put out her arm to block the bullets. She successfully blocked them but their power was strong enough to rip out her arm.
Her lack of an arm put her out of the game but it gave Terin enough time to recover, seeing that his enemy is strong he didn't ness around and instantly buffed up with a power dab.
"Ey yo, nice dab, but check this out" - as he said that he started rapping but this time he could be understood. - "I'm a spiritual lyrical miracle individual, skippin n flippin n dipping…"

His tattoos were glowing even brighter than before but Terin decided to leave him alone this time.
"Huh, learned to appreciate my fire rap, gotta give you some points, but it ain't enough to save you! Pra! Pra! SKKraaa!"
Hail of bullets went towards Terin, with his buffed up state dodging bullets was easy, and even if he didn't they'd be harmless to him but he could sense these were far more dangerous than normal bullets. He barely dodged the first and second volley but the third one was far more faster and he got hit. Multiple bullets, there was no penetration but the force of the impact was too strong pushing him like a truck hit him.
"Haha, too weak for me, go back to 2k18 and dab there, you ain't got shit on me!"
Terin stood up, his enemy was too strong, it was time for his ultimate move. He took up a stance, it was wider than usual and he commenced the dab, but as his arms were moving into position, he was lowering his body. Lil Gun 69 recognized this move.
"Oh shit! Impossible! You can't do that move, you just bluffing!"
His anxiety didn't go away, and as Terin got closer to the ground his anxiety was only increasing. Suddenly a loud thud echoed through the hallway, he couldn't move anymore, and neither could Terin. An ominous figure came around the corner. Bearing a large stature and wearing an addibas tracksuit, he was wielding a stop sign and had a traffic cone as his head. It was the school's hallway monitor. "No fighting in the hallway, detention for you." With another thud both of them were released. "Follow."
Terin was afraid of him and wanted to reject following him, but he had the power to stop him in place, he might not know how exactly that power works but he didn't want to find out, especially since even Lil Gun 69 was listening to him.
After a short walk they reached a door with a sign that said "Detention".
"You, you enter." He said as he pointed towards me and Lil Gun 69. "You, follow. Repair."
We obediently listened to him and entered detention.

Candor: The Forgotten House
*** Please read note below *** As a 16-year-old mage from a powerful family, Jayce Candor had known from a young age what his future would hold. As the fourth son in his family the possibility of him becoming the heir to the household was very small. But, with his talent as a mage, his potential accomplishments in the military could lead to titles of nobility and political power. However, on what would otherwise be an unremarkable night, everything he had ever known, the only people he ever cared for, and all of the plans for his future were destroyed. House Candor, one of the six great houses that helped build the Eldoran Empire had been erased from history. By imperial decree, all those bearing the name Candor were hunted down and executed as traitors of the Empire. With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. Constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps in the editing and rewriting process. Check out my other story Shattered Mind here
