《Mega Cringe: Dab》Volume 2: Chapter 1 - The Dab Master Returns

Cold water splashed on his face. Terin’s sleep was disturbed. But when he woke up he wasn’t in his room. The room was dark with only a small lightbulb lighting the middle of it. Behind the light he could make out a person. Only his legs were visible. It seemed like he was wearing a business suit. He tried getting up but couldn’t. He was chained up to the wall. Terin didn’t understand how they did all this without waking him up. But now he couldn’t call all those TouTu:b:e pranks where they take their sleeping parents out in the sea fake. The chains weren’t a problem. He could break them. The people that did this to him obviously wanted something and had the strength to reach his room and kidnap him. It would be wiser to listen to what they have to say before making any rash decisions.
“Hello Mr. Terin. It’s nice of you to have finally got up. I know you have many questions so please allow me to answer them. First of all, who am I?. My name is of no importance, I am just another faceless businessman, if you must call me by name then call me “Faceless”. But “Who are we?”, is the question you should be asking. We are the EU.”
Terin heard of them. It was a group consisting of gods. Gods had the ability to alter the world however they wanted to and their power was far greater than anyone’s else. Even the region master were no match for them. They had infinity power but they didn’t dare do anything that would anger the masses. They could easily silence any rebellion but they didn’t want to have unnecessary bloodshed. The less people there are, the less power they had. So when they made any changes to make them more powerful they did it so people at least wouldn’t be angry over it. Terin could guess that this had to do with something about Marc. But why didn’t they just kill him? He didn’t understand. But that meant there is still a chance of escape.
“Is that fear I feel? Well it’s only natural when one hears the name “EU”. Why didn’t we just kill you? We are not savages to do something that barbaric to a famous Dab Master. Indeed, we are going to execute a criminal Dab Master who abused his powers and brought this world to near destruction. So just sit there until we defame your name enough so the population praises us for your execution. And since you are going to die soon I will sate your curiosity too. You killing Marc delayed our plans. He was the key for success. His vision was slightly off, but it was nothing we couldn’t easily fix. So for your crimes, you and your friends are going to suffer. That is all I have to say. Goodbye.”

Condescending beyond compare. That’s all Terin felt as Faceless left the room. The way he acted almost made Terin laugh. He was one of the gods but there was a hierarchy in there too. Terin could even beat some of the lowest ranking gods, and this guy was one of those. He needed to plan his escape before anything else. He didn’t forget about Copy and Arthur but he knew he had nothing to worry about. Arthur seemed like he was always prepared for everything so there was a slim chance he’d get caught. On top of that he was inside the Deep Fried dimension, making his capture even less likely. Copy wasn’t the main target so they will most likely pay less attention to her allowing her to escape easily. She was skilled in stealth after all.
The ground shook. Explosions could be heard from outside. Perfect timing to escape. He ripped up his chains and did a Power Dab to further increase his strength. He hit the door but there wasn’t even a dent. Explosions were getting closer. He tried hitting the wall but the result was the same. Someone was yelling from outside the door.
“Stop her! Don’t let her get any closer!”
Terin now had the idea of what was going on. Explosions were now happening just outside the door. It got quiet. Terin was wondering what was going on. Suddenly a voice rang out from outside the door and he recognized Copy’s voice.
“I accidentally blew up the keys along with the guards so I am going to blow up the door, please move aside!”
Terin hugged the corner that was as far from the doors as possible. He didn’t know what firepower Copy was carrying and he didn’t want to learn its strength with his body. Another explosion happened and the doors along with half the wall started flying. Some of the debris hit Terin but he was empowered so it felt like lightly thrown pebbles. As the smoke cleared he saw Copy. She was missing her left arm. To compensate for that on her right arm was a giant black cannon. It was as large as Copy but she was somehow carrying it with only her right arm.

“Arthur told me you got captured on purpose to try and gain information, I hope I didn’t come too early.”
None of that is true but Terin decided to play along Arthur’s narrative.
“Have you seen someone in a business suit? That guy was our enemy.”
“Short, balding, with a really ugly face and a pedo mustache? Yeah I blew him up, didn’t seem that strong.”
As expected, it was just some powerless nobody that though he was more important than he was because he was in EU.
“First we need to escape, then I’ll tell you what I learned. Also did you have to use this much firepower? Couldn’t you just sneak in, now our escape will be difficult.”
“Well I did sneak in at first, but after so much time sneaking around I decided to try a new weapon Julian made for me. And besides we aren’t going back the way I came!”
Copy laughed and charged up another shot. A white light, similar to CPR-S bullets, came out. If CPR-S weapon was an assault rifle then this a rocket launcher. The wall on the other side blew up and light filled the room.
“Let’s go!”
Copy jumped outside and Terin followed. He looked back on the tower and instantly recognized the design. It was the Jail Tower. The tallest tower in the world, it had tens of thousands of floors. Terin could neither see the bottom nor the top. After a minute of falling Terin started to worry.
“What floor was I on?”
“One thousand and five hundred something, I forgot the exact number.”
“What?! I know you are not the brightest but this is insane, there is no way you can survive that fall.”
“Don’t worry about me, worry about yourself, the ground is coming.”
There was nothing he could do for her so he hoped she really did have a plan. A fall from that height would really kill her. Terin positioned himself with his back to the ground and did another dab. It was similar to the Block Dab but the palms were turned around, looking towards the ground. This dab allowed him to fall from any distance.
Copy aimed her cannon at the ground. White light was slowly glowing brighter. The air around her started to heat up. After a few seconds the shot fired instantly killing all her momentum. She stopped falling. The ground where the shot hit formed a crater. It was like a meteorite hit the spot. Terin landed and soon after Copy followed. Neither had any injuries.
“See? Told you I had a plan! It was even cooler than your plan!” - Copy smiled like she had just won a prize.
“Too bad nobody saw it. Let’s go back to Skrub11, we got work to do.”
“Uhhh, about that… I am sorry, Skrub11 is gone. They took it from us shortly after you came here.”
Copy knew Terin cared about that sector and that saying that it might hurt him but she couldn’t just lie about it. To her surprise Terin wasn’t shaken up about it. He loved that sector but it wasn’t the first time it was gone. It disappeared many times and they brought it back many times, this was just another setback among many. Copy seeing that it’s all fine continued.
“I’ll take you to our current hideout, let’s go.”

The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. Third son of the middling von Bolstedt line of Altdorf, capital of the prestigious Empire at the heart of the Old World, but when a quarrel with his brother escalates he decides to leave his pampered home, and soon finds himself stranded in the countryside. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
