《Mega Cringe: Dab》Chapter 11 - Dry Ocean

The surroundings quickly changed and they found themselves in front of Ocean Cole’s sector once again. The sun was rising again. It looked the same as before but pillars of smoke could be seen all over the sector. There were many people causing damage to the sector. There was no TouTu:b:e staff anywhere, it seemed like they abandoned Ocean Cole. Many people were going around drawing hate graffiti on the walls but some were destroying entire parts of the sector. Terin and Copy tried to avoid the fighting and rushed to the tower.
Once they reached the tower they could see Ocean Cole standing on the stage with cameras pointed towards him. People were destroying his sector but no one directly confronted him and he didn’t chase after the attackers either. Terin had no idea why Ocean Cole was getting so much hate, only a day had passed since they were there and everything seemed peaceful then. He decided to ask Copy about it.
“Hmm, remember those people who were with Lake Cole when I beat him? I saw them when we were here yesterday. They probably gave the footage to Ocean Cole and he uploaded how his brother got butchered. TouTu:b:e doesn’t approve of gruesome content, especially when majority of your audience is children. They stopped supporting him and now everyone is trying to get a piece of him.”
Terin looked over at Ocean Cole again and he saw that he was on the verge of crying. Copy stayed back as Terin approached. He was quickly spotted but Ocean Cole didn’t move he was focused on the camera. 9 other people who worked with Ocean Cole went towards him and surrounded him.
“I just need to kill him, nothing else. Your sector will stay the same.” - Terin expected that the people under such a vain person would be disloyal.
“We actually respect our boss, unlike you Mr. Dab Master.” - as he said that he did a dab. Unlike other people who just do it to disrespect this one had power behind it. Terin stood his ground waiting for them to charge at him. The charge started and Copy launched her attack. Throwing a blade she struck the dab user in the neck. This time it was a proper blade and not her thin sheet of metal. It stuck to his skin but it didn’t penetrate deep. As he was about to pull it out she dashed towards him and tackled him. Rolling on the ground she pushed it deeper, killing him.

“Can you handle all 8 of them alone?”
“Please, I can handle the entire region alone. Just go to and let me have fun here.”
Terin left her and raced to Ocean Cole. She was strong but keeping 8 people busy was impossible by a single person and he wanted to deal as much damage as possible before others arrived. The boss saw him and his sad face quickly turned into an annoyed expression. He jumped down from the stage and met Terin head on.
“Why are you so annoying, don’t you get it? You stand no chance! I am THE fucking OCEAN COLE!”
Without any care for what he has to say Terin empowered himself and went in for a punch. Ocean Cole didn’t bother to dodge, he just stood there looking very annoyed. The punch connected but to Terin’s surprise his enemy barely moved.
“Isn’t a punch from the Dab Master supposed to wipe you off the existence?”
Terin continued his assault but his punches had no effect on Ocean Cole, he just continued laughing.
“Ahaha, you really don’t know how this works, do you? Well it’s to be expected from someone who dedicated his entire life to learning how to dab. You can’t hurt me. Only other TouTu:b:ers who are equal popular can hurt me!”
Terin’s calm face finally showed annoyance and his enemy was happy. Terin wasn’t annoyed at the fact that he can’t hurt him. He was annoyed at Copy once again not mentioning important details. Ocean Cole stopped being a punching bag and counter attacked. His punches weren’t that strong, it was the strength of a normal person, but that was enough compared to Terin’s useless punches. The punches were slow so Terin easily dodged every other after the first one. Ocean Cole pulled out some strange glasses and put them on.
“You know, I am colorblind, makes it hard to see you.”
He put on his glasses and Terin’s vision went black. As he was blind dodging attacks was difficult as well. Every few seconds he could see once again for a very short time. Terin quickly realised what was going on. While wearing those glasses if Ocean Cole looked at him he would become blind. Everytime he blinked Terin could see again. All Terin needed was to break the glasses.
Ocean Cole was being cautious. He would make as little noise as possible and only hitting Terin once or twice before backing off. He only needed to buy time for his team to come back. Terin couldn’t counter attack so he smashed his fist into the ground. The ground shattered and pebbles were thrown everywhere. He couldn’t hide his presence now. Seeing as how his team is almost done, Ocean Cole just rushed at Terin with no care. As he got punched, Terin instantly counter-attacked hitting Ocean Cole straight in the head, smashing the glasses. His vision came back with a cry of pain from his enemy. One of the pieces of glass stuck inside his eye.

Realising that the environment can hurt his enemy he started his attack. But before he could launch another attack Ocean Cole started screaming at the top of his lungs.
“CHAIN STORE!”
Terin weakened. His ears started ringing and his vision was becoming blurry.
“CHAIN STORE”
With each scream the effects got stronger until Terin was eventually on the ground crawling, unable to hear anything but those 2 words. As all hope was lost he spotted someone walking up. His vision was blurry so all he could make out from that person was that he had short blonde hair and an extraordinary brown viking beard. He was tall and somewhat skinny but gave off a domineering aura. Ocean Cole saw him soon after and his previous confidence quickly transformed into shock and fear.
Clap. Clap.
After just 2 claps Terin completely recovered. Without a moment to waste he ran towards Ocean Cole to shut him up. He failed.
“CHAIN STORE!”
Terin failed, but the power had no effect. It was like it was completely killed by those two claps. Ocean Cole was angry now. Some irrelevant nobody is not only bothering him but also competing with him. He was at his wit’s end. Once Terin comes close he was sure he would kill him. To his surprise Terin stopped.
Terin saw that his words have no power anymore so he didn’t bother getting close. From the shattered ground he pulled out a stone the size of a fist and threw it aiming it at Ocean Cole’s knees. The strength it was thrown with was enough to break his kneecaps. Ocean Cole fell to the ground and put his hands up to stop Terin.
“Wait!” - he raised his head towards Terin and smiled - “I’m vegan now.”
Terin threw another rock ending his pain. He looked over at Copy and to his surprise she was on the ground in pieces. She was extending her hand towards him with sadness in her eyes. Terin just crossed his arms and continued looking.
“Oh, come on! Show some worry about me!” - Copy was extremely unsatisfied with Terin’s response. As an she couldn’t die and she can just disable pain. - “You should help me even if I can’t die!!! Less repair costs!”
Terin planned to help her anyway. He just wanted to have a little revenge because she failed to mention how to fight TouTu:b:ers. As he was about to go he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“I got this fam, don’t even trip.”
Arthur finally decided to show up. Terin stood back, he was interested in seeing what Arthur can do. As Arthur was talking up to them he started giggling. He started speaking while trying to contain his laughter. It didn’t go well for him.
“Lemme tell you a joke bois. How do you call a brother of a zebra? Zebro!” - at this point Arthur had lost it. He was laughing like a crazy person. No one else found the joke even remotely funny. Copy laughed because Arthur’s reaction was funny but others were still angry over their boss’ death and made their move. Arthur stopped laughing.
“Ah, you people don’t understand comedy. I don’t have good roasts, so how about this one. Your mom gay.” - he waited a couple of seconds before continuing. - “Angry. Angry. Angry. Angry.” - he continued saying angry and with each angry spoken a person erupted into flames until they were just a charred corpse. All their clothes and accessories remained intact. The power was incredibly strong on someone like him who found the unfunniest things funny. Most speech related techniques were used for control, none had the destructive capabilities like Arthur does. Terin already knew how it worked and that Arthur was on the same side as him but he still couldn’t help but feel a little scared after seeing it in person. Copy, on the hand, didn’t care about it.
“Can you guys help me already? I can’t repair myself even if all my limbs weren’t broken.”
“Terin, pick up the trash and go home and have her fixed up. The essence we need is in the tower, I’ll go pick it up so don’t worry.”
Terin listened to his boss and picked Copy up and went home with her.

Zombies
This is one of three stories that I am offering as a test run. If you like it, then I'll choose to continue working on it. I have a whole plot line ready to explore! What can I say, I'm a sucker for rebirth, regression, and transmigration stories. This one is a regression story. The main character get's yeeted back in the past, to where the end began. Read on tortured souls as I do my best to break the weak, and sooth those who don't have a soul to break. I spent some time trying to make a story that explores all the gritty situations a resident of the apocalypse would encounter. Unfortunately, I do struggle with pace. I get just as impatient as you when I can't get to the next bloody encounter. But I despise OP characters, and I really wanna stop and explore the fascinating death of civilization. I write this in hopes of making a main character who get's to be the bad-ass I can't be, without, you know, skipping the good stuff.
