"Huh?!"

I jolt up. Trying to figure out my surroundings. Oh, it's just my room. I have a feeling that something happened to me, but I don't remember what...

I don't decide to not think about it to much. While clearing my mind I begin to hear the rain. I look out the window; Unrelenting.

I get ready for school and go outside. While walking I see Sara under a yellow dog pawed umbrella. So I call out to her.

"Oi, Sara!"

I catch up. I may have caught her a bit off guard... She turns back in shock of my sudden appearance. She begins to see if anyone else is around.

"Yuta!? I didn't know you came this way!"

I come this way every day? Thinking about it a bit more I guess I've never noticed that she came this way either. I was going to say something, but she begins to speak.

"By the way... I'm sorry about yesterday."

It had clicked with me. I didn't remember what happened yesterday until she had said something. She hangs her head as if I was going to scold her. I didn't mean to make her feel bad... I should take the blame for that.

"No need, I'm the one who forgot! You did nothing wrong."

I give her a bright smile to back up my words. She looks up at me and gives a soft smile. The rain begins to get harder so we rush into the school building.

When we get in Sara's friends are waiting there for her. She looks at me, asking for approval to leave my side. I'm not sure why, but I nod to allow her to leave. She runs up to them leaving me left behind.

Before I go to class I'll read a bit of manga!

I sit down reading. The silence helps me concentrate. The rain making the atmosphere even better. Nice, Relaxing, and a bit of loneliness to top it off

The bell rings and I may or may not have stayed a bit longer... It just got so interesting. I couldn't stop. It was really because I found a Kabedon between two of the characters.

When I saw that, my heart began to truly flutter! Maybe I can get Sara to do it to me. I decide it's finally time to get up from my silent corner. I dash off to class. The Kabedon fresh in my mind.

I wonder if it will make my heart flutter like it did while I was reading! So that is my objective after school. I feel so smart~!

Near the end of the day, my teacher asked us a question.

"Since it's raining pretty hard today we'll need a few extra people to stay after school and help move some things around. Are there any volunteers?"

Sara lets out a maniacal, but quiet laugh. Her hand shoots up into the air. Too fast. She has something planned. I'm worried if it will involve me somehow. Well I already knew the answer to that question.

"I'll do it and Yuta wants to too!"

Huh?! Me?

And yet I still think to myself, why it wouldn't be one of her many friends. I would complain more, but I had a plan ready for her as-well.

She puts her hand down looking very fulfilled. A bit after, I head to and go chat with Eva and Aron. They're in the courtyard studying across from each other. After a few moments, they notice me.

"Hey Yu!"

Eva waves to me. She's not actually studying, but reading a book inside of it. Aron gives her the stare. Eva gives him an innocent look. He disappointingly sighs and begins to chat with me.

"So going on with you?"

My eyes light up, and ready to get out my pent up excitement from all the manga I've been reading and spill it onto my friends. Then I decided to tell them instead about my amazing idea.

"After school I'm going to get Sara to pin me up against the wall!"

The pair look at each other then look back at me. They look dumbfounded.

"You... really think that's a good idea?"

Aron acts as if I just said something really stupid. I don't see what's wrong with it...

"Yea! What's wrong with it?"

Their heads drop down together weighted with disbelief and disappointment. Aron groans.

"Why do you have do be an idiot..."

Eva nods along.

"Oh Sara, if only you knew what you have gotten yourself into..."

I look at them confused on how they could give me such a terrible response. Yet it won't deter me from my mission! They say together with an overly exaggerated sigh.

"Good luck we guess..."

The teacher calls the students who volunteered over the PA system. We get up to the teacher's lounge where we're given our tasks.

"Yu and Sara, you two will clean out one of the old class rooms."

It feels like she's prepping to go to war. Sara stands tall talking to the fictional drill Sargent she made up.

"Yes mam!"

"G-Got it..."

I never really understood how I even got into the predicament, but I guess I shouldn't let it go to waste.

We get to the old classroom. It's filled to the brim with all sorts of boxes with papers in them. There's a manikin sitting in the corner that looks like it hasn't been moved in a bit. The room is pretty spotless compared to most places. All we had to do was get these boxes and papers, and move them into a storage closet!

With a determined look on her face she gets straight to work. She looks at me while carrying some boxes.

"Today I'll show you how hard of a worker I can be!"

I join in with her and clean up. It goes quiet for a bit after we clean up I think it's a good time to finally ask.

"Sara I want to do something with you."

She turns around to me, not expecting me to say such a thing. Stunned for a moment she stares at me only to turn into a beetroot. She speaks in a soft tone.

"Well, continue speaking..."

"I want to..."

She more and more fidgety going so far as to close her eyes and push her lips out. Whatever she was doing I think she got the wrong idea. I continued paying little mind to her.

"I want you to pin me up against a wall!"

She freezes in place. She had a sparks in her eyes, but that faded and now my face is clearly reflecting. Leaving only a cold, empty, void. She seems distraught. At what, I'll forever be left to wonder...

"Why."

The emptiness in her eyes instill fear into me. I feel as if I say the wrong thing. She'll begin to manipulate the manikin in the corner to come to life and wring my neck out. I begin to rush my words out before such a nightmare can become reality.

"I-I saw it in a manga and I really wanted to try it and see how it felt!"

She starts to smirk and laugh having no awareness of her surroundings. Lord... Please don't let the angry lady kill me with the manikin... I still have so much manga to read!

Nothing happens she just continues laughing. I begin to suspect that she might have ulterior motives in all of this. So I ask with caution.

"Is that a yes...?"

She nods while still having that smirk on her face. She said yes! My joy and rush of excitement peak. I put my back up to the wall and wait for her to put her hand against it. Sara slams her hand against the wall.

While I sit there smiling. We look at each other for a few moments and the smirk on Sara's face fades. She starts to tremble almost as if she had realized something embarrassing.

As for me? I feel nothing.

It made me start to think... Maybe this isn't how it's supposed to be done.

"Hmm... Let's do this a different way."

I got from off the wall, grabbed Sara lifting her into the air and put her onto the wall. She didn't seem to realize until it was already done.

"Bueh?!"

I take a deep breath, closing my eyes. I remember back to how the manga did it. I slam my hand against the wall. For a moment Sara jumps from the sudden noise and movement, but calms down. I open my eyes and look straight into hers. She looks into mine.

She starts to fidget as I maintain the position. My heart wasn't fluttering and yet, I wanted what came next.

I wanted more.

She turns her head away like she couldn't take the sight of my face. I lightly, but firmly grab her chin to keep her right in place. The heat from our breaths collide readying ourselves for whatever is about to happen.

"Sara..."

We wait for a moment, taking in one another. That is... Until Sara reaches her limit.

"W-We can't do this!"

She pushes me away from her.

"Eh?"

Making me fly back and hit another wall.

I had no idea of what that feeling was, but I liked it.

I slam into something and I fall unconscious.

Of course! My plans ruined again by such a guy. Why am I still surprised? Trying to make me do such a weird thing... No, wait! I could've kissed him!

His voice and his looks I couldn't handle both at the same time and I ruined it!

I sulk and get lost in my thoughts regretting such a stupid move. A crash of lightning comes down silencing my mind. My vision turns pure white to pure black.

I hear something crash and a soft voice to go along with it.

"Sara..."

There! He said my name again with that voice of his. I shake my head to snap out of his trance and try and help him.

"Yuta, where are you?!"

No response.

It doesn't look like the lights will be turning on any time soon either... Before giving up hope I decide to get down on the floor and start trying to look for where his body might have landed. It took a bit of searching, but I finally find him!

I touch his leg and sirens go off in my head.

One part is excited.

Great you found him! Especially since he's unconscious maybe we could have some fun?~

The other half is on high alert.

Did you really just touch him without his permission? What would he think if he saw you touching him like a creep?!

The two bicker at each other and my mind and heart are set racing once again! I want to back away, and yet... This could be my chance! My one moment! I might as well not back down now!

"I hope you won't hate me after this Yuta..."

I get closer to him, feeling his body. It's harder than I thought it would be. Though as wood I would say. I know nobody will see this, including myself, despite that I close my eyes in preparation for what I'm about to achieve.

I can't give in now and run away! I sit there for a moment. In the darkness. With every rain drop I inch a little closer to him. My body getting hotter as I close the gap. I wanted to make him feel how I felt about him.

Our lips press together. It's cold and hard, but I don't mind. I sit there for a second just relishing in the moment. I had done it.Touching my lips to see if this isn't a dream. I back off him, feeling warm. Hopefully when he wakes up he does too.

I hear a grunt and someone getting up. The lights flicker for a second and then turn on fully. I look around and try to see whose voice that was. It was Yuta. I look at what I'm kissing. It was dummy.

"Hey Sara! What are you doing down there?"

"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu~"

I've been made a fool of, again. How do I keep letting this happen to me?! I begin to tear up...

"You may have won this time Yuta! For sure, next time, I'll get you!"

I run out of the room filled to the brim with embarrassment.

"...Huh?"

I run all the way home leaving him alone. I forgot my umbrella, but I didn't care. I wanted to be as far away from such an embarrassing situation as possible. I know I should've stayed, but I just couldn't.... Any more and I would've! I would've... I'm not sure, but it would've been bad! That's for sure!

I get in the shower after getting to my home. When I come out I go back to my room and out on my desk is my notebook.

I grab it and look at my list of plans for making him fall for me.

"Try and greet him"

"Become his friend"

"Invite to hang out on sunday"

"Show him how good of a worker I am!"

I look down at the notebook for moment. How stupid does one have to be to actually have a notebook just to keep track of plans to try and make someone fall in love with you? I wouldn't need such a thing if... I start to turn red. Why did he of all people have to be my first crush!?

I cup my hands in my face as if someone was looking at me. After a moment of pure anguish I take my hands away from my face. I once again had failed... I mark out another one. Although... I don't think it was an extreme failure like the rest. So instead of just marking it out...

"Show him how good of a worker I am!" - You can do it! You just have to hit the right target this time!♥

I shut the notebook once again. With a smile on my face and hope in my heart.

"Puchuu!~"

I had sneezed. I wipe my nose with some tissue and went to lay down.
