Torchic's eyes were constantly observing Edward, and its expression was full of worry.
"I'm fine. Do you want to fight together?"
Edward patted the dust on his pants and checked himself over. Except for some minor scratches, overall, he was uninjured.
Seeing that Edward was fine, Torchic sighed in relief and glared at the four Cacneas, who were surrounding them.
Edward didn't switch on the live streaming function on the navigear when he went to relieve himself before.
Also, he didn't want others to see his first battle with Torchic.
"Chic!"
Torchic released a battle cry and faced the enemies bravely.
Cacnea is a green, bipedal Pokemon with a round body and cactus-like striations. It has a dark green rhombus shape above its face and six dark green rhombus shapes that ring around its waist.
Also, it has two dark green spikes on each side of its head, along with a yellow flower bud on top of its head.
Its two club-like arms are ringed with dark green spikes, and its two stubby legs are dark green and conical.
It can live in deserts for 30 days without any water due to its body being able to store moisture.
"Cac!"
Several Cacneas stood together and wanted to attack Torchic.
"Torchic, use ember!"
Edward gave an order for the first time.
Torchic was confused at first but later understood his commands.
A small group of flames spewed out from its mouth, aiming for the four Pokemon.
Huhu~
The flames were burning the surrounding area and painting the dark sky with dark orange color.
The four Cacneas wanted to suppress them with numbers but didn't expect Torchic would be hard to deal with.
Moreover, they are still grass-type Pokemon, and in the face of fire-type attacks, they will only suffer more damage.

After a few seconds, the Cacneas rushed out of the fire at the same time.
"Cac!"
The Cacneas cried angrily, waving its cactus-like arms and rushing towards the Torchic.
Low-level Pokemon are not proficient in many skills yet. Therefore, they rely primarily on regular attacks at this stage.
"Torchic, dodge it!"
"Chic!"
Torchic is quite agile, easily dodging the simultaneous attack of four Pokemon.
"Pay attention to the left side, Torchic." Edward reminded it from the back with his wider field of vision.
This time, Torchic didn't hesitate to follow Edward's instructions and moved quickly to the right.
Boom!
Cacnea's strength is not weak, and when its punch hits the ground, it leaves a big crack on it.
"Use ember now!"
Whoosh!
The flames illuminated the surroundings again and instantly enveloped the four Cacneas.
This time, they could no longer break out of the encirclement and lost consciousness after choking on the smoke.
"Yes!"
Edward pumped his fist in the air.
After the battle was over, Edward discovered that Torchic had improved by three levels in a row and reached level eight!
Seeing that the battle was over, Torchic returned back to Edward's side while jumping happily.
"Great job, Torchic."
Edward gave some Pokemon food that he stored in his pocket.
"After being conquered, I feel a little bit of a spiritual connection."
Edward felt that the battle had improved his connection with Torchic. Moreover, it could understand his instructions during the battle just now.
"Come on, Torchic. It's time for us to go back."
Edward picked up the pile of leaves while beckoning Torchic towards the shelter.
And those Cacneas are estimated to take a while to recover from their injuries.
This is also the first time they have encountered aggressive Pokemon.
On the way, Edward restarted the live stream.
Spending a night in the volcano region is also one of the tasks on the list.
