The map provided to the contestants was drawn by previous explorers from the government forces.

Well, they tried to barge in with guns blazing, but reality kicked them in the butt. None of those firearms works very well on Pokemon. In fact, they were quickly targeted by the older Pokemon because the guns can threaten their younglings.

They only explored a small portion of the island and haven't found how large it is.

One thing worth noting is the strange topography of the island.

It contains almost all the geographical features such as sand deserts, rainforests, lakes, mountains, glaciers, volcanoes, and craters.

But when compared to all kinds of beasts that can spew out fire and poison, it can't get any weirder than that.

"This volcano? It's excellent. There are also trees at the foot of the mountain. Maybe we can find a good hiding place."

Rosa nodded and agreed.
