《War of the gods [Forum game]》Chapter 28. Oops! That book was dangerous!

Phantom_Lord_of_Void - known as Sage – was excited. Since now he could influence on the material world with a help of the book as he liked! That was a great opportunity! That book was a serious instrument in his possession!
Phantom was sure that he could rebuild this world as a better place. At least he believed in that.
Soon Sage – using his power - established a direct connection with the book. He felt as a stable channel to the material world had been formed. In the next moment prana from the world of mortals washed his spirit body. Phantom grimaced. He knew that prana was dangerous thing. It was a shell of the material world. A source of magical power of all magicians, but it was toxic to all spirits.
Earlier a powerful spell had formed a shield around the Phantom's spiritualistic body. It protected the great spirit currently.
The great spirit decided to wait a right moment to speak with the cultist leader.
Meanwhile, Oculmust was staring at the book. It tempted him by its aura of desperation. Suffer and pain – that emitted the book – attracted his sadistic nature. He could feel desperation, pain, and cry from the book. The cultist leader liked it. Oculmust licked his dry lips and even closed eyes. He wanted to enjoy these feelings for some time.
Unexpectedly Oculmust thought about... that ritual!
The cultist leader realized that now is a right time to conduct this experiment. Hence, he stood up and hurried to his bag. He grabbed a scroll out from it. In the scroll was discribed a summoning ritual.
Oculmust didn't know how exactly this ritual worked - or whom it could summon - but these thoughts were meaningless for him at that moment. He was just experiencing an urge to do it right now! Oculmust was very curious!

Oculmust called all cultists – who stayed in the camp - and began to organize the ritual in a hurry. Soon the book was placed on the altar while the cultists began to incant. No one of them knew that a formula in the scroll contained a small mistake.
Gradually prana started to move in the camp of the cultists, turning its color in red. Too many were killed here.
The souls - that were sealed in the book - began to worry. The red prana disturbed them a lot.
The red prana moved to the book and even inside it.
Meanwhile, Sage felt that something was wrong. In the next second Phantom_Lord_of_Void realized that something began to drag him in the material world! It was dangerous! The spirit can't be in his spiritual form in the material world, or prana will destroy such spirit! A spirit needs a body or a container to be in the material world. That was a problem that had frightened the great spirit! The book – a potential container – was already occupied by five spirits! It couldn't contain them all together!
Sage tried to close his connection with the book, but failed. The place – where the cultists continued to incant - was a good place for making magical rituals. A connection to the spiritual world was good and stable here. It was not easy to ruin it.
Phantom tried to move in the deeper layers of the spiritual world to damage the connection. At first it worked, but the great spirit realized quickly that the power of summoning ritual became stronger than him. It was too late to ruin the connection between him and the book.
Sage panicked and tried to balk to no avail. Now his struggle was futile. The power of summoning ritual continued to drag him in the material world right in the book!

Phantom didn't know that what was happening with him was due to the little mistake in the complicated formula in the scroll. A process of summoning wasn't happening as it should. It was a forceful summoning.
Meanwhile, the panicking souls felt as the toxic aggressive red prana was washing their container. They were frightened to the bone. They knew what would happen with them if the red prana would touch their spiritualistic bodies.
All of a sudden the great spirit materialized in the book. In the next moment the book cracked in the material world and all souls as well as the great spirit were thrown in the red prana!
Before the great spirit was dissolved, he managed to scream out. “Natus!!!”
[Phantom_Lord_of_Void was destroyed]
