The voices argued, as usual, but one of them whispered with rage. [Scar the monk a little! Show him how fragile his "handsomeness" can be!]

This command was strong enough to be heard by Nameless. As a result, he hit the roof. I hate so much this monk's pretty face! I want to scar it!!! I want to ruin this handsome face!!!

Nameless hadn't a weapon to scar the monk, but it couldn't stop him. He grabbed the man and bit into his cheek. The monk screamed in pain and tried to break free, but Nameless was strong enough to hold his victim still.

Finally, Nameless bit a chunk of meat off and felt blood in his mouth. It gave him satisfaction. Now you are not handsome anymore!

In the next moment the man thought. Oh my god! What have I done?!!!

Nameless was terrified now. He stepped back and spit a piece of meat out! He even puked. It is disgusting! I still feel the blood in my mouth!

The human spit out again and used his hand to wipe his lips.

Then he stared at the screaming monk who now literally hadn't a cheek. No! No! No! No! It's not me!!! This is just a bad dream!

Nameless saw as the folk began to gather in small groups, watching him warily. A majority of these people looked tired and indifferent; only a few grinned when they saw the monk's suffer.

Nameless was shocked, scared, and perplexed now. He shouted out. He wanted to explain! “That's not my fault! I'm innocent! This is the voices' fault! They say what I shall do!”

No one answered. The folk continued to stare at Nameless.

The human saw as the monk tried to say something, pointing at him. But the running blood and a severe wound didn't allow him to utter anything.

It was too much for Nameless. Thus, he turned around and ran away. This is not my fault! This is not my fault! This is not my fault! This is not my fault!

He rushed down the road now. The energy of artifact still sustained him. Finally Nameless had reached a place where the road was splitting into two and ran towards Turera. He tried to not think about what had happened in that settlement. It wasn't my fault! The voices are guilty! They are cruel! They want to see as I do evil deeds!

Perhaps, they are demons?! This idea terrified Nameless, because he couldn't withhold their cruel commands. Those voices were too powerful! Their whisper was an absolute command for the man. Nameless knew this and this terrified him even more!

The human halted all of a sudden and looked in the sky. Unexpectedly tears rolled down from his eyes. God, if you exist, please, have a mercy on me!

Nameless dropped on his knees, staring at the blue sky. God, I don't know who I am! I don't even know my name! I don't know anything! Please... I beg you! Show me your mercy! I can't bear it anymore! I'm just a mere human! Please... I beg you!

Afterward the man cried and prayed fervently. He didn't want to hear the voices anymore, but later he heard their whispering again.

[Stand up and continue your way! And don't cry, loser! The monk should avoid your attack! It is not your fault that he was too slow!]

[Run back to the exiled! You need to help the monk! The poor man is wounded!]

[Run back to the exiled! You hasn't loot the monk! This is against the adventure's code!]

[Make a camp or just find a place where you can sleep! It's late now!]

Interlude

The old monk stood in the Divine Temple and stared at the dead bodies of his brothers. He also saw some dead pig-men. The man had figured out that a battle had happened here. If only I returned earlier.

The old monk experienced a feeling of guilty. He walked to his room. It's my fault! This is all my fault!

When his brothers told him that that man – who he had brought in the temple – had stolen the Saliva Flash, the old monk was shocked. He wanted to find and punish that thief!

“You are old” his brothers told him. He listened them and went in the jungle to gather some herb. It always helped him to calm down, but when he came back to the temple, it was too late.

No one survived. Tears rolled down from the eyes of old monk. He grieved for his brothers now.

He came in his room and opened his chest. The old man took out a metal sword of good quality.

“Long no see you, my old friend,” the man whispered, staring at the blade. I missed you!

In the past the old monk was a famous warrior, known as “Bear of the West”. He was a captain of “Holy Sword”, an elite team of human warriors. He defended humanity all his life! The man was a real hero in people's eyes!

“Now it has come a time to take a sword in my arms again,” he whispered, staying in his room and holding a weapon in his arms.

The old monk looked at a beard that lay on his table. “Besides, I need to deliver a purchase to the customer.”
