"Welcome to our small group, alright guys, ill quickly inform you about the facts of this group and some other information. First of all, with you guys included our group has now exactly 300 members which is the exact number for our 'guild' limit. But don't worry, as we grow stronger, so will our numbers. I know most top guilds have at least 5000 members, but we don't care at all." Hiro was still in the middle of his speech when someone raised there hands and asked.

"Uhm . . . I heard we get free rooms and food?" one of the test passers asked.

"Yes that is correct, and please hold your questions until I finish debriefing you guys."

"Okay, I'm sorry"

"No problem, moving on, as that other guy asked, you each will be provided with rooms, and food is also free. The quest board is located inside our guild hall, which is in the very center of our guild headquarters. You will meet many people there, its a good place to strengthen bonds. Our employers vary from different people, but we only accept jobs that are righteous and just. Our employers pay us a small which we use for guild fundings like maintenance of the place and the food that you guys eat. Our employers then the people that actually did the quest, and those people keep the rewards for themselves, they don't have to give it to us. Our only requirement is that if an employer hires all off us, which has never happened, not yet anyways, we require you to halt what you are doing and return immediately to HQ to be dispatched. There are a few exceptions like timed quests or if its a rare quest and other occasions. Other than that, you are free to go take 100 quests, or not take quests and go on an adventure, but don't forget, if we mobilize everyone, you will mobilize."

After a long talk, Scout and the rest of the people that passed stopped in front of a 2 story housing complex.

"So, any questions?" Hiro asked them

"Yes, the guild crest, I noticed that some have one wings while the other have two, and you have 1 wing but its quite large." Scout asked

"yeah, I've wondered about that" one guy said

"yeah, me too" another guy said.

"Good question, its simple really, the more wings you have, the higher your rank in this group, but it is not relative to strength. It is based on achievements and contributions towards the growth of the guild."

"I see, that makes sense, so what is the ranking?" Scout asked again

"Another good question, we classify people here 4 ways, S class, A class, B class, and C class. C class, is you guys, C class consists of 1 and 2 wings. B class are the people with 3 and 4 wings. A class are the people with 5 and 6 wings. And S class, like me are the ones with 1 or 2 full wings. 2 full wings is the highest rank you can attain, and we only have a couple."

"So depending our rank decides what quests we can take?" one guy asked

"Yes, but we have a lot of quests where higher rankers take lower rankers to quests. Well I got to go, if you need anything, go to the guild hall, we have many people there that are willing to help."

As Hiro left, some of the new recruits started to go towards the guild hall, some explored the area, and some, like Scout went to their rooms.

Scout got to his room and took a little nap to recover his energy. He woke up after an hour and started walking towards the guild hall.

Scout arrived in the guild hall, when he got inside everything was so rowdy, there were people chatting, eating together, some were drunk on beer. Scout didn't bother them, he just approached the quest board when suddenly someone approached him and asked.

"Young blood, looking for a quest?" A guy with a bushy beard and looked like he was in his 30's asked him.

"Yes I am, you got anything for me?" Scout replied back

"Yes I do, our guild was hired by a village not far from here to exterminate some lizard men terrorizing their village, the name is Baron by the way."

"My name is Scout, nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you too, according to our 'scouts' the lizard men are about level 25, but the problem is that theres about 500 of them, and were only taking 50 people, and mostly C class."

"Why not, they should give me some decent exp" Scout cooly replied

"Alright then, let me invite you to the group so that you can get the quest."

Exterminate the lizard men terrorizing Housen Village.

Rewards: Depends on actions

"Accept" Scout said. After Scout accepted the quest a pop up showed up

Lizard Men left : 500

Scout closed the window and Baron suddenly shouted

"I need 19 more C class to join me for a quest, any one interested?"

A group of 5 guys stood up and said "Well go"

"Alright, good, any more people?" Baron still talking loudly

One after the other more C class joined them until Baron reached his number.

"Alright, stock up on food and potions, also repair your gear, we will be headed out in 10 minutes. everyone gather at the gates."

Everyone then left and bought their supplies.

Scout did not need to buy any supplies, he still had a lot of food, so he only bought 15 level 2 potions that were 1 silver each. He also went to the guilds blacksmith and got his equipment repaired, Scout started walking towards the gate where some people were already starting gather. Scout approached them but didnt say a word, he just leaned back on a wail waiting for the group to gather. After 10 minutes it seemed that everyone had gathered. Baron stood in front and started talking

"Alright everyone, our quest is pretty simple, Hoesen village needs some help about some lizard men terrorizing them, and they hired us. We have 40 C class and 10 B class. The B class however are just there to insure that the quest won't fail, and we B class will be primarily be handling any unexpected events. Other than that, it is you C class will be doing all most of the work, not only will this earn our guild some reputation, this will also make you guys stronger. Is everyone ready?"

"HOORAH" everyone in unison replied

"Alright! lets get moving, Housen village is only an hour march from here and there won't be any monsters in our path, Lets move!" Baron shouted and everyone started walking.

After an hour of walking they finally arrived at the small village of Housen.

"Alright guys, take a quick break, ill go and talk to the chief" Baron told his fellow guild mates and so they took a quick rest, they ate their foods and drank some water.

After 5 minutes Baron came back and told them about the details.

"100 lizard men are coming here in about 10 minutes to collect the 'protection' fee that the village chief already used to pay us for our services, of course we won't be paid if we fail, which we won't" Baron said with a smile on his face.

"So how do we do this Baron?" one of the troops asked him

"Nothing special really, do whatever you want, you can go solo, or form a party, whatever I don't care, but I will deal the first strike and everyone will be hidden until I do so. Also, the first priority while inside the village are the villagers. I brought some capable healers, so just go near them if you are about to die. Also try not to die, I mean, our B class healers can revive you, but you will still loose a level. Anyways, get into position and good luck."

Some started parties and others started to spread out solo. Scout was also solo.

Scout went near the village entrance, there he would be able to kill a good amount of people from the back, so he put on his mask and went into stealth and waited for the lizard men to come. After 10 minutes, he was still in stealth and fully recovered his mana, and the lizard men finally came, exactly 100 lizard men. They slowly approached the town square where the village chief was waiting.

"Hey old man, we've come here to collect our protection fee, also the boss told us that next month we want double" One of the lizard men while laughing and the rest of the lizard men snickered.

"Why you guys, double?! we already have trouble paying you for this amount!" one of the villagers said.

"Calm down you fool, anyways, that is fine, but first please receive this present from us" The village chief pointed to a figure that was covered in in a brown sheet."

One of the lizard men approached the sheet and said

"Pffft, now you're giving us gifts? how nice of you hahahahaha" while pulling the sheet a sword swung towards the neck of the lizard man and it instantly died.

"What the hell?! WHO ARE YOU?!" one of the lizard men screamed.

"Us? oh, we are freedom baby, take em out boys" Baron cooly replied and the 40 C class members popped out from their hiding spots and started slaughtering the lizard men.

The moment that Baron swung his sword was the exact moment that Scout had already planted his daggers deep inside 2 of the lizard mens neck. They died instantly that they could not even make a sound and no one noticed that they had died. The 2 lizard men dropped some green scale which Scout picked up immediately. He then proceeded to kill as many of the lizard men as he can, it was easy for him, all of the lizard men were in a state of chaos, so he easily stabbed them in the back of their necks.

The lizard men couldn't even react, after 5 minutes they were all dead.

"Good job, you guys did better than I thought, alright gather up, the quest aint over, we have 400 more lizards to kill, we move immediately, the lizard mens base is on top of the hill, lets go!" Baron yelled and they started marching once more.

After 5 minutes of marching they saw the place where the lizard men were staying, it was just an area made out of shacks were the lizard men were staying. Baron then suddenly stopped them and said.

"Alright we see them, chances are they see us too, be careful here everyone, there might be level 30's their level 35's even. But don't worry, we will take care of the higher leveled ones if you can't handle them, other than that, go ahead and give them hell"

Everyone then started running towards 400 lizard men.

Scout went into stealth which made him move faster and started running towards the back of the area. Scout waited until the players in the guild engaged with the lizard men, as soon as they did, Scout started killing lizard men 2 at a time, 1 hit kills. However this time after killing 20 lizard men, they finally noticed him and started attacking him, but Scout easily dodged their attacks and instantly counters every attack that he dodges, he could dodge 3 lizard men attacking him simultaneously, he would still get sometimes, but just a scratch that did not foo too much damage. After 2 minutes of fighting and killing lizard men, Scout noticed that his group was nearing him, so Scout decided to shadow step behind his group and join them there. He did not want any people know how strong he actually was, he just wanted to keep a low profile.

The mercenaries easily finished off the 400 lizard men after an hour of battling . Baron approached them and said

"Alright guys, that was easy, too bad no elite or no bosses showed up" Baron said with a laugh

The troops didnt even have the energy to laugh, they were tired and hungry

"Alright, lets go back to the village and get our reward" Baron said with a smirk

As they got to the village, the village chief approached them and said

"Thank you everyone, please accept this small amount as gratitude." The village chief said with a gentle smile and tears on his face.

"No need to thank us, you paid us and we did our job" Baron replied with a smile on his face too.

Quest Complete

Rewards: 1 gold, 1 level

Rays of lights were shining on all of the players, they had all leveled up from the quest, they also got a hefty sum of 1 gold each.

"Awesome, 1 gold and 1 level!" one of them said

"YEAH! this is cool!" another said

Similar comments started to come out from everyones mouth.

Scout was now level 23, he gained 2 levels from killing the lizard men and one level for completing the quest.

Herb Picking(Passive):Allows player to pick up herbs faster, and has a slight chance of picking up 2 or more herbs from one plant. Speed and chances increases as level increases.

Shadow Step (Active):Instantly able to teleport to a target area, up to a maximum of 12 yards. The higher the level goes, the further distance you can travel. This class is unique to the Eliminator

Shadow Step: Beginner level 5 (28%)

Cooldown: 10 seconds

Stealth(Active):Go into stealth making it harder for you to be noticed, increases movement speed while stealth. Stealth will only be broken if the user wishes to do so, or if the user attacks or uses an item. The higher the level, the faster you can move.

Stealth: Beginner level 4 (15%)

Mana Cost:100

Cooldown: 2 minutes after stealth is broken

Nimble Body(Passive):Passive, Slightly increases movement speed and dodge rate. The higher the level goes, the more movement speed you gain and the higher the dodge rate.

Nimble Body: Beginner level 6 (54%)

'Today was a good day' Scout thought while walking back towards their HQ.
