《Zenith》8 - The Curved Saber of San Martin

Well, i still had to make the best out of this worst situation. I calmed my mind down to the point that it was completely empty and the next thing that entered my mind would have 100% focus on it. Obviously, i tried to think about the ways through which defeating the boss was possible and make up a strategy. Under the immense pressure i was in, the best strategy i could think up was to stall time until i get a sword strong enough to kill the boss. My present replica of [Curved Saber of San Martin] gave me a boost of agility so it would help me avoid the attacks and stall time. Now it was the time to act.
I activated the [Theft] function of the sword and slashed across the face of the boss, succesfully stunning him for 3 seconds. I slashed the boss as many times as i could within those 3 seconds and immediately withdrew after the stun was over. Edwin's face no longer looked like a human as his eyes started to become red and his face started developing cracks. He licked the blood on his face caused due to my attacks, with a unexpectedly long tongue. Then he looked at me and said:
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA IS THAT ALL YOU CAN DO? AHAHAHAHAH. IM SORRY BUT I HAVE TO KILL YOU HERE, LIL BRAT"
Ughhh keep your disgusting words in your disgusting face.
He then jumped up and smashed the ground with his hand.
"BAMM!!" The ground have cracked with just one punch. I definitely wouldn't want to get hit by that. To maximize the stalling period, i started to run in circles around the boss. Every time the boss punched, his fist would miss me by about 10 centimeters. This went up for 1 minute. My legs started to shake as my stamina dropped and i started to feel a bit dizzy due to all the circular motion. I barely could dodge the upcomming attacks. I would not last for the 2 minute time period if this continued. While i was observing the surroundings to develop another stratregy i suddenly got hit by a punch.

Fckkkkk i only have 200 hp left! damn, i really need to do something
I got back up and after a few seconds, a wicked smile could be seen on my face. If you could actually see that smile, you'd probably be creeped out and never read this novel again. But the good thing was, there was a smile there for a reason. I ran about 10 meters to my left and picked up a test tube. The label on the test tube read [fluoroantimonic acid]. Fluoroantimonic acid is the strongest acid known to man and it would surely be able to corrode the boss's eyes. I ran straight to the boss and dipped down, dodging the punch he threw at me and jumped up. I threw the acid straight into the boss's eyes causing the eyes as well as the skin around it to corrode.

That was an impressive plan indeed. Not only did i manage to blind the boss but i also dealt high damage. After the boss, it was very easy to avoid the boss's attacks. He would punch wherever the fuck he wanted to. I avoided the attacks for 2 minutes and it was time for my [Pandora's Sword] to reset. However, i still could'nt see any change in the appearance or the name of the sword. I observed further and read it's stats.

So, this was the original form of the sword. It is certainly quite amusing to see that i got this immediately after it's own replica. Killing the blind boss with this sword was no problem or so i thought. But, after the boss's health dropped to 10% the ceiling of the place started to shake violently. The boss was probably trying to cast the [Rocket Crash] skill. I immediately calmed down and activated theft, successfully stunning the boss as well ass interrupting the skill. I slashed the boss for another 2 times and then the boss's body lay dead on the floor.
2 dings? wtf
Someone actually managed to slay a gold tier boss this early in the game? Looks like my luck isn't the only thing that's overpowered. A strong rival has appeared!

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)

For the Hoard
Ergo the dragon is enjoying his seasonal hibernation when human explorers from another world invade his lair. Sucked into an unknown land, and reduced to a fledgling dragon by the loss of his hoard; Ergo must struggle to survive in a world that has been utterly subjugated by humanity. More importantly, will he ever get to finish his hibernation!? note: while I ticked the boxes for sexual/traumatizing content, I mostly did that to keep my options open. I don't currently have any planned, nor do I expect it to be a significant part of the story. After all, the main character is literally a dragon.
