《Zenith》7 - The Wrath of Edwin Aldrin

Once again, my vision darkened and the next time i opened my eyes i felt very uncomfortable. All i could see was a dark void and i could not breathe. Then, i noticed something touching my feet. I bent down to pick it up and found out that it was a dungeon item.
Astronaut's Vision
Description: Provies you with the ability to breathe and nightvision for 30 minutes.
Uses : 3 left
So, this dungeon should be completed within 30 minutes,eh? looks like if i fail to complete the dungeon within 3 tries, i will have to redo the whole thing.
I immediately used the item and gained vision. The place looked completely deserted, almost like in the midst of the Saraha desert but had a lot of holes in it. I figured that this place was probably a remake of the moon's surface and the 'holes' were craters. I also noticed a timer on the top-right of my vision which read [29:59]. That was the time left for [Astranaut's Vision]. Well, that would certainly be very convenient to keep an eye on the time left while fighting the boss. The previous part of the dungeon did not have any monster so i was sure that there would be some in this part. Far away, i saw a huge boulder with a hole in it. That hole was probably the entrance to a cave or something. I walked towards the hole while being aware of my surroundings. Suddenly, a creature popped up from one of the craters to my right. The creature had the typical movie-alien look with two oval eyes and green skin. I read it's stats:
Alien
HP: 1000
Damage: 500
Skills:
Damn, that damage is very high! Just 3 attacks are enough to kill me. I need to avoid every attack to survive this.

I looked around and noticed about 50 Aliens coming up through different craters. That's when i regretted my decision of not bringing any potions. Anyway, it was clear that i had to go through that hole and escape so i started to run towards it. I drew my [Pandora's sword] and a Emperor tier sword came up. This should make me able to survive this.
Sword of Attila
Attack: 10,000-12,000
Special effect: Increases damage dealt by 120%
Special function [Possesion]: The user becomes possesed by Attila the Hun for 30 seconds. When possesed, all stats increase by 150% and the sword's attack increases by 200%. Cooldown: 60 minutes
Description: The sword of Attila the Hun, said to have been sent by the gods.
It was a pity that this sword could not deal splash damage and there was only 3 minutes for me to use it. Otherwise, i could probably be able to kill all of these disgusting aliens. I charged forward and slashed an alien blocking my path. The slash was obviously able to insta-kill it. I applied the same tactic for remaining 2 minutes- Run forward and slash anything in my path. However, after 2 minutes i noticed a change in the alien's behaviour. Their mouths began to expand and get bigger. This was probably the [Green spit] skill. Shit, i needed to do something. I immediately activated [Glory of sword] and killed 10 aliens near me. There were still about 40 of them left! Just as they targeted me and activated the skill, i threw myself to lay flat on the ground. Looks like i was a bit late and one of the skills hit my leg. I heard a sizzling sound in my leg and found that it was burnt.
"-1000"
Damn, i only had 200 health left! Any of the aliens could insta-kill me. I needed to dodge every attack thrown at me or i would be as good as dead. I was only about 20 meters away from the hole but the increasing pain in my leg made it very hard to run forward. I still tried to run as fast as i could in the situation following a Zig-Zag pattern. Thank god that the aliens did not use [Green spit] again. I slashed and killed about 7 aliens blocking my path. Other aliens stopped pursuing me but there was still one alien which was following me. I was still 5 meters away from the hole and i noticed the alien's mouth starting to swell up.

Not good! i have to dodge or interrupt this skill.
I looked down and noticed a fist-sized rock towards my left. I picked it up and threw it aiming at the alien's belly. It hit and the alien threw up on himself. The acid burnt the alien himself, killing him instantly. The hole was just before me and i jumped dramatically through the hole. Just as i landed, i noticed that the environment was completely different. The place had lights and was full of modern equipments. There were several AI bots programmed to use computers. About 40 meters ahead, there was a man sitting in a blue glowing chair looking in the opposite direction. He seemed to have noticed my presence and turned around.
"A human dare invade my territory? Have you come to foil my plan to destroy earth? Do you humans have any idea how insulted i felt when i was also among the first people to land on the moon but no one cared about me? Today, ill let you feel my wrath!"
Spectre of Edwin Aldrin Boss

Curved saber of San Martin

Sylver Seeker
After fulfilling the duty all arch necromancers are tasked with, Sylver Sezari was not expecting to ever wake up again. But he did. And after crawling his way back into the land of the living, he’s alive once again. In a strange land, a strange time, and with a strange floating screen in front of his new face. Either through plan or chance, he’s alive again, and planning to enjoy himself to his heart's content. -The story isn’t grimdark, but it’s not all sunshine and rainbows either. There will be lighthearted and positive moments, as well as some sad ones. That being said, it’s a whole lot more light than dark. -This is a LITRPG story. Chapters are published every 2 days at 21:00 GMT. Author’s note:-It can get very GORY. I’m somewhat desensitized to gore and violence. So while the story isn’t full of gore for the sake of gore, it can get a little too descriptive.-The MC is a necromancer, so corpses and decay, and all the things that come with it, will be mentioned from time to time.-I’m a huge fan of Egyptian, Slavic, and Greek mythology, so expect quite a bit of that. That said, so much is altered, you’ll be hard-pressed to guess how exactly it is being used.-Despite being ‘immortal’ the MC can die. In the event he does, the story doesn’t end, simply time skips forward. Which in some cases is going to be worse than just dying.-I love plot twists, as much as I love red herrings and Chekhov guns. Deus Ex Machina’s not so much. Cover: https://angshumandhar.artstation.com/projects
8 219Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
