The man walked along the rainy and muddled streets paying no attention to the rain that bounced off his trenchcoat and hat nodding to the peacekeepers as he went. His pistol was in a hidden side holster and his rifle cleverly hidden using a type of molding technology it was expensive sure notoriously So, but it was worth it for the Private investigator. His phone rang and he ducked into an alleyway before answering it "Hello?" I Asked smoothly "meet at 5th street Newark doesn't Be Late" I ducked out of the alleyway and headed to the garage with a sigh my eyes darting the rooftops looking for snipers I reached the garage before heading to my bike and pressing the button to start it up and it roared to life as I zoomed toward the avenue as my hand brushed my hidden sidearm I pulled over putting my Bluetooth earpiece and continuing on my way before pulling over my bike once again and walking the rest of the way there. My phone rang and I pressed the earpiece "good, good you're here take a left there should be a man in a black su" his voice was cut off very suddenly then three things happened at once I rolled to the floor as guns began to open up from everywhere and the man returned "I was not expecting this either" "no shit" i growled pushing myself up as i pulled myself behind a tree. I tapped a button on my trenchcoat and my gun seeped forming itself in my hands.I cocked it and started firing it shattering the windows as people finally began to run and a black limo began to make its way towards me "that one of your guys?"I asked the man on the other end. "No why?" the Limo rolled passed me. The guns started opening up again. I hadn't noticed they stopped. "Right two on the balcony 3 on the 3rd floor and all look like they have heavy armament" I muttered before running from tree to tree. I ducked behind a concrete barrier. my rifle was in range and I let loose firing at the men on the balcony and they dropped like rocks. I grinned and fired at the third-floor windows watching as all three of the men took hits and I cursed "Shit time to switch AP" I put a round in each of them causing them to stagger before I fired off a burst at the men getting one down before I heard sirens and military humvee pulled in front of me as the bullets peppered the glass "Get in" I hopped in pressing a button on my rifle and it molded back into my trench coat."Who the hell are you" I knew that voice it was the man who I was working with "that doesn't matter right now" We pulled Up to the garrison and I got out "ID" the soldier groused I handed it to him "seems in order you and your friend are clear to go" I nodded and hopped back in the Humvee as we drove In and we both got out again. I nodded at the man as we went to the control tower. "Hello again shadow" sitting across from me was a man with back turned to me he swung his body around to reveal a scarred face and the red eyes of a man I thought dead.
