《Reincarnate into Another World as a Bicycle》Chapter 5: Prophecy in Shambles!

One day, a middle aged man walked into a small black hut, south of the Cresa Continent, in a place called The Dark Side. He was a relic hunter, born and raised who had a dream to scour the world and unlock it's hidden secrets, he spotted many hidden immortal ruins, but decided to leave some dangerous ones untouched.
The Dark Side is a place where even Warlord and Warlock stage cultivators would hesitate to enter, where dark beings and creatures roam freely, chaotic thunderous clouds, sword-wills hurricanes and numerous other calamity level disasters are merely as common as grasses sown on a plain field.
The man was battered and bruised, his life was hanging on a thin thread, but then he saw the hut from a distance, standing tall amidst a cliff as if it was in its own separate world.
The inside of the hut was warm and gloomy, black and purple ornaments, unknown creatures skulls, and vials of potions hang freely like decorations.
"I have been waiting for you, Luo Han" A young fairly like voice echoed into the mans ears.
Luo Han saw that the was a young looking cultivator, sitting at a small table while drinking tea, she had long black hair and dark green eyes, but when he sensed her energy, his leg began to tremble.
This woman was not simple, Luo Han felt that this woman was many folds stronger and older then him, like an immortal goddess.
He could barely speak due his critical injuries, but the woman motioned him to sit down on the opposite side of the table with her hands. He cautiously sat down and tried to remain in a respective position, he didn't want to offend this woman with something so casual as rude posturing, but after a few seconds of settling down, he was shocked as he just realized what she said before, she said his name...
"I already know all about you, I'm a seer, someone who can look to the past and tot he future, though there are restrictions... But never mind that, I have a prophecy for you" She said calmly, while Luo Han listened attentively.
"There will be an immortal level threat that will wash over your continent, though it won't happen soon, it will occur in the near future. You will have two twin daughters, but, as for raising your eldest daughter, you must let her live freely and choose her own decisions, and as for your second born, you must teach her all you can, and when they both turn 18, send your second daughter to a particular ruins, but you shall not mettle into that ruins. There, a treasure will have appear, have her choose one gift for her eldest sister, and that gift would be the prophesied item, if you do everything correctly, then everything would fall into place"
'Isn't this prophecy mildly specific? Luo Han thought skeptically, 'and what does fall into place mean? Is it a good outcome, or a bad?'
"Here is a pill that will help you heal, and this is the coordinates to the ruins" The woman said while handing him a green pill which emitted a strong powerful aura, and a piece of paper with a location.

He was then sent on his way after swallowing the pill, his wounds had all miraculously healed, he bid farewell to the mysterious woman and then then fled north, far away from the Dark Side. He was still skeptical of that woman's word so he decided to check on the immortal ruins, located accordingly to the papers coordinates.
He found at the end of the ruins were numerous treasures, but he didn't know which one was the prophesied item, everything in the ruins seemed to be fairly impressive, enough to send sects to wars over these items, but he decided to follow the words of the mysterious woman and leave quickly due to the fact that she was many fold stronger then him, and had no reason to lie.
Except something unexpected happened, he was ambushed by a strong singular puppet, supposedly this was the final boss, but it had the same strength as him, so he couldn't shake off the humanoid puppet even if he wanted to, and had to kill it.
Unfortunately, after a long battle of attrition, Luo Han won, albeit with heavy injuries.
He was hit with a mysterious acid, which cursed him during the fight and felt himself losing time a little faster, which meant he would age quicker.
He hoped that this didn't affect the prophecy that the mysterious woman so kindly gave to him, but all he had to do, was wait and see. So he decided to quit his dreams of being a world famous relic explorer and decided to return back home to his sect.
He married an ordinary woman that he felt was kind and caring, he then stepped up to become Sect Leader due to his fathers pestering, his father retired from the Sect Leader position and happily chose to become a much more iimportant figure by becomeing the Grand Elder, which is a role suited to someone being the last line of defense.
Luo Han felt it was time to start a family, and took a shot of having children. But, who would had thought that Luo Han, the Sect Leader of the Divine Relic Sect, would almost had a heart attack, after his wife's childbirth.
"Sect Leader, it looks like you will have triplets!" An ordinary milk maid said excitedly.
"Wait what?" Luo Han was dumbfounded.
Back to the present.
Luo Han was fairly sure that he hadn't seen the artifact in his hands in that ruins before as he had remembered every item inside there.
David was extremely uncomfortable, being scanned and touched at thoroughly by the old man.
"Luo Rei you bitch!" An angry voice echoed throughout the pagoda. Luo Han sighed in annoyance, but inwardly thought that the discord in his family was his fault, for blindly following the prophecy.
He made sure to train Luo Ru to the bone, even though she wanted to stop, she didn't dare to because she feared her father.
Her strength didn't come naturally as it came to through sheer hard work and immense pain. She was mad at Luo Rei who never worked a single day in her life, she was carefree and lazy, did whatever she wanted without the pressure from her father, Luo Ru felt it was completely unfair.

"Sister, is that the gift you wanted to give me!" Luo Rei completely ignored the fact that her younger sister was angry at her, and pointed towards the black hook-like sword in her sisters hands.
"Humpft, you wouldn't even be able to wield this sword in your entire lifetime, your gift is with father!" Luo Ru said while scrunching her brows.
"Oh, thank you sister!" Luo Rei went for a hug, but Luo Ru hurriedly dodged in disgust.
"Just go inside, we are too busy and need to hurry on out" Mei lied shamelessly, before pulling her master along with her.
"She isn't worth it, Iet me brew you some 'tea' to occupy your mind for the day" After hearing the word 'tea' all of Luo Rei's grievance had washed away, and she hurriedly rushed outside and down the steps along with her maid, for another sip of tea.
They both rushed past the painter who was still at the top of the steps, and then pass a young man who was at the halfway point, he was someone who wore stylish black pants, shiny black-scaled boots, and a flaccid black shirt, this type of fashion sense was rare inside a cultivation sect, where everyone would wear an immortal style robe, with colors matching their standings inside the sect.
He had dark brown eyes and long black hair that draped towards his waist, his face looked similar to Luo Rei except he had an Adam's apple. He was slowly walking up the Divine Towering Steps alone while slouching his back with two hands in his pocket.
"Sister, you're back" He said in a friendly tone, but both Luo Ru, and Mei, ignored him and continued on their way down.
This young man was the black sheep in the family, he was named Luo Ren and was mostly raised by his mother, he wasn't close to Luo Ru or his father, but with Luo Rei, it was different, they hanged out a lot during their childhood. So, once he saw the two girls coldly pass by him, he shook his head and sighed, before changing his pace, and sprinted uphill.
Back towards the pagoda, David was fairly traumatized as the strong scented breath of alcoholic wine and spiritual energy were pulsing from the old mans mouth, and onto his body like an air-conditioner.
He couldn't wait until Luo Rei, picks him up, except he could hear heavy footsteps from outside the room and from the angry shout of the Demoness, David heard her say 'Luo Rei', so that means, she was already here, but why does the footstep sound like it was coming from a tall muscular burly man?
He waited patiently as the large door opened, and a hand appeared.
This hand was large and chubby, so David thought that the person opening the door must be a servant or guard of Luo Rei.
But, once he saw the person in full view, he was shocked once again.
'Why did I promise to disregard anything shocking!' He felt his heart quake, even if he didn't have one.
Only a mountainous humanoid could be seen, this bearish brutish person was in fact, Luo Rei, the twin sister of Luo Ru.
Every step, would send a shiver down Davids spine.
'This is the person who is going ride me?'
Luo Rei had two short hair buns, and looked like a large panda bear, with large arms and legs, the only impressive thing about her was her large racks, but even that was terrifying as it was large enough to burst a watermelon if it was squeezed into between them.
Her face had similarities to Luo Ru, but it was too pudgy to tell, she wore a large pink dress and white slippers.
"Luo Rei, I have the gift here ready for you" Luo Han said while his eyebrows twitch, obviously he was having a hard time accepting the fact that his daughter grew up like this, but all he had done was follow the prophecy to the best he could, which meant that Luo Rei was the only one who could have a say for herself 'according to the prophecy'.
And like any other rich girl, she wallowed in her allowances and spoiled herself excessively, but personally, she liked to eat plenty of tasty food and treats, hire people to carry her instead of walk, and also buy expensive pretty things. She had no friends but wants to get close to her twin sister, but for some reason, her sister is always busy and had no time for her.
Luo Rei was someone who never studied, or was taught any self reliance lessons, so she had both a low IQ, and EQ as well as the lowest level of cultivation, Mortal Human Stage 1, and Mortal Qi stage 1.
"Is that it?" Luo Rei said with a confused expression, but before Luo Han could say something, the big door busted right opened.
The two people saw the newcomer, it was Luo Ren, who was panting heavily due to the arduous amount of sprinting he did to make it there.
"I saw that Luo Ru had made it back safetly, I also heard that Luo Rei would get a gift, but where's mine?" He said while wiping the sweat of his forehead, he saw that his father was looking at him disapprovingly, but he didn't care much about what his father thought of him. For some reason, he thinks that his father thought of him as a mistake, that he should had never been born, he came to this conclusion after living all through his 18 years of life.
He then saw the tool in his fathers hand, and his eyes lit up.
David was also happy, 'Who is this newcomer? Come save me!'

Nero Zero
Monsters plagued the lands for too long. No matter if one had fangs, beak, teeth, skin, fur, or feather, or was tall, stout, or diminutive, the people suffered. Until the Gadgeteers came with a device that could allow people to fight back. Powered by one's own magical power, feeding off of monster Essence, the Arbitrium bracer turned the tables. It also changed society. Strength of one's level cap was all that mattered. The strongest were Kings and Emperors. The weak or those too poor to afford the marvelous device, destitute. And so it has been for millennia. All that mattered was one's level cap. High, low, a fate decided the moment the strange contraption came alive. Too high and you were a threat to those interested in keeping the status quo, a weed to be nipped before it could grow and take root. Too low and you were nobody, fated to be a bit more than a simple farmer. What if someone, somewhere, came up with a zero for their level cap? Unable to use Essence, unable to level up. On all of recorded history, it never happened. Until it did. In a small village of fur-less and tail-less ape-beastkin, a boy found out he was uniquely handicapped. Nero's level cap was Zero. But he'd never let that stop him from reaching his goals. ------------------------------------------------ All stories have already been told. We merely reuse elements from them. From Joseph Campbell's Monomith to Stephen King's advice, and that encyclopedia of tropes you've visited, fiction has been dissected and reassembled countless times. One will surely find elements inspired on other works here. Just like cooking from basic ingredients, the recipe and presentation is what really matter. This is a fantasy adventure, of someone that goes from a zero to a slightly bigger zero. It will have romance but no harem. Cruelty but with hope dimly shining ahead. Lightweight where it can be, heavy where it must. Thanks for reading. Cover Credits (The cover is CC-BY-NC-SA): Steampunk Spider Bracer, by Daniel Proulx. Old description (Without spoiler) John Sarvod, user of the most powerful healing spell [Heal], the rare ability to heal and recover all injuries, is the only human that lives in the Elven Tribe. Though he was gifted with [Heal], he could not cast any magic other than his one and only [Heal]. Aside from his current training to become a royal scribe, he is known to all elves as the ‘Healer of A’vetheas’ and had gained a certain amount of respect from them due to how much he works. But life for him in the Elven Tribe, A’vetheas wasn't never always like this. Because he was human, and that the Elves have isolated themselves from the outside world, his presence initially was not welcomed by the elves that thinks highly of him today. It was all thanks to the Elven Queen who brought him in, and the Elven Princess, Raina Valindra Eridi, that he could reach this day. But things changed when the Raina that he so adored used the teleportation device for a small date with him, where they met with danger that the [Heal] that he relied all this time could not save him from… In his desperate attempts to save Raina, John ended up committing a taboo of the elves. As for his punishment when he returned to A’vetheas? That was just the beginning of him, continuing the path that he had inevitably taken prior to the life he had before he lived in A’vetheas. This is a story of a not too average person end up becoming something that he could have never imagined. A monster? A demon? A god? Only time will tell. It is just a matter of time that John Sarvod would embrace his true self. Content Warning because I want to have flexibility, and maybe it gets overwhelming at times. I have a backlog already, this story won't be dropped. Edited: romance tag to action tag, story has more or less of both, but yeah. There's slice of life tagged in because my story progresses not too quickly (by my opinion) I like to take things slow, I suppose. :3
