《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 64- Workshop Battle Final Part 2

Hundreds of people could be easily seen filling the rows of seats in a big, white stadium arena. Their expression showed that they were fired up even though whatever event that would be held here hadn't even started.
"Welcome to the arena ladies and gentlemen!" A voice suddenly reverberated in the arena as a floating screen appeared in the air in the middle of the arena, showing Uno wearing his spotless white robe.
"Did you have a good time experiencing the flying voyage on Archimedes? Because if you did, I have bad news for you. And if you didn't, then that's good news, because today is the last day the Workshop battle will last!"
"However, no need to worry ladies and gentlemen. Because we have prepared a big event as a parting gift to send you off."
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the… final!!" He shouted loudly to fan out the regulars' excitement.
His words and way of speech did the job as the regulars started to cheer loudly. They might not qualify to the finals, but they could still watch them as entertainment or for them to learn anything they could from the best teams among E-ranked regulars.
"The final stage is different from the previous stages. If the previous stage were made to test your ability to survive and keep climbing the tower, the final is much more straightforward. It's to fight in an open battle."
"Moving quickly without being hindered by obstacles, the courage to travel through dark tunnels with enemies lurking in the dark, using wits and careful observations to quickly make a judgment to solve the problem. These all are important skills for anyone who wants to climb the tower."
Uno smiled. "However, there are certain times where you couldn't run from your enemies or outsmart your opponents, and you are left with a single choice, to fight. This is why, no matter how smart or wealthy you are, only the strong are truly respected in the tower."

Most of the regulars nodded in agreement, they knew that what the host spoke was true. Because it was what drew them to climb the tower in the first place, to stop being the bottom feeder, to become powerful, and finally, to become Rankers.
"The rules are simple, the teams who managed to pass the second stage will fight in the arena one by one. Since there are only five teams, we will take a draw to decide which team goes to the grand final, and the rest have to eliminate their opponents to reach the grand final."
A big roulette appeared with the names of each team leader. The roulette turned quickly, and after a while, it slowed down and the arrow stopped at the name of Khun Ray.
Seeing this, his mouth curled up into a smirk as if everything had luckily gone as he had planned. "Ladies and gentlemen, it seems that we have our lucky team. Oh, I almost forget to tell!" He grabbed his head and acted as if he had remembered something important.
"To make the battles interesting, you can only forfeit after five minutes into the battle. As long as you bring down your opponent and they can't get up anymore, you will win the battle."
"However, if you surrender before the time, you will be on the Workshop's blacklist lists. Now without further ado let's…"
Uno spread apart his hands and spoke with a booming voice. "Start the final Workshop battle!"
The crowd cheers went up a notch as their excitement exploded at last. The figure of Uno smiled seeing this as he vanished and the screen went blank.
Not long after, two groups of regulars entered the arena and faced each other. Both of them were among the best of E-ranked regulars, it was easily proven since they managed to reach the final.

However, the other team looked much more overwhelming as each of their members proudly walked on their own Shinheuh. They were the Lo Po Bia team, the top two of the E-ranked regulars!
Compared to them, they were clearly the weaker side as even their momentum already felt much weaker. Unfortunately, the rules didn't make it possible to surrender without a fight. So they had to brace themselves and stall until they could surrender.
The fight started with the animas ordering their Shinheuh to charge over. Following the order, a big tiger, a massive flying jellyfish, and a small bird rushed over and attacked them.
They reacted quickly as their fishermen ran ahead to stop the tiger while the scout tried to deal with the jellyfish as the spear-bearer threw his spear at it to quickly dispatch it.
However, this situation was bleak as his spear was easily blocked as the yellow-haired glasses anima summoned his lighthouse with a smirk, and the jellyfish turned out to be much more dangerous than what they had expected as it managed to catch the scout with one of its many appendages, delivering toxins into his bloodstream.
Their light bearer realized the danger and tried to help the scout as her lighthouses flung to the jellyfish and they suddenly expanded and became gigantic.
Lighthouse Control: Big Mode!
Boooomm!!
A loud sound created as the gigantic lighthouses collided with a few other gigantic lighthouses as they had suddenly appeared and blocked them.
"You are quite strong for a frail girl." The glasses man looked at her as he spoke calmly, still with his smirk on his face.
Seeing her attempt blocked that made the scout situation worsen, she gnashed her teeth as she pulled her needle to attack him, wanting to finish him desperately to be able to help her teammate.
Instead of defending himself, he stood still with his smirk becoming wider. "Oh, don't be so aggressive little girl, I am not into kids like you."
"I am not a little… girl!" She shouted angrily as she stabbed him at his balls.
He easily dodged her attack with a sidestep and spoke relaxedly. "I know that my charm is too much for you to resist, but shouldn't you pay attention to your back?"
Hearing it, the girl didn't stop her attacks, thinking that he only tried to distract her.
However, just a second later, a hand went through her chest from the back, feeling the pain, she turned her head to see a slant-eyed man return her stare back with a smile.
"I told you, little girl. You should stop chasing me and look at your back." The glasses anima wiped his glasses and wore them again as a smile blossomed on his face.

There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.
