Xin continued to loot the corpse. When he had finished, he counted his gains and put the items inside the lighthouse. He didn't use the lighthouse in battle but using it only as a storage was also quite beneficial.
It was no wonder that lighthouses were essential in the tower.
His gain this time was very small since he had only killed three regulars, it was expected. However, it only took a few minutes to do so, so it was worth it, overall.
Liu Guanyi and Xin had been doing this from the beginning to focus and save their time for training as much as possible.
To climb the tower wasn't exactly cheap per se, they have to pay for their lodgings, buying equipment, and food, especially food as the three of them ate a lot of food.
Of course, there were a lot of jobs that they could choose and do on every floor, especially after becoming E-ranked regulars. Most of them didn't pay well but there were some of them that pay quite well.
However, working on these jobs would force them to sacrifice most of their day just to earn some points.
This was one of the main reasons why regulars took a long time climbing the tower, they had to fund their own expenses as even taking the tests cost a lot of points, and if they failed it, they had to pay again to retake the test.
So they had to work for a long time instead of training their skills just to take the test again, and if they failed even once then failed again, it would become an endless loop of wasting their time that the longer it lasted, the more their potential would also be gone down the drain.
Hence, being loaded with points was an important thing to have to climb the tower.

Though Liu Guanyi and Xin would never repeat a test looking at their result so far. He knew not to spend their time on trivial things. So, rather than working needlessly, it was much efficient to loot items and sell them afterward.
Naturally, he could ask Adori for it, but repeatedly asking for money and troubling her for these paltry things wouldn't exactly leave a good impression on her.
After Xin finished looting, he looked over as Liu Guanyi noticed his gaze and ordered two regulars to go toward him.
"These two will be under you for the time being. Use them to help you find the correct tunnels. We will inform each other if any of us find the correct one."
He smiled. "You know what to do to them after we find the correct tunnel."
Liu Guanyi turned to Adori and made eye contact with her as she nodded. There were three regulars behind her as there were two behind him.
"Let's separate as three groups to increase our efficiency to find the right tunnels as fast as possible. We need to win the items, especially the observer, it will be more useful compared to the needle." Liu Guanyi spoke to Xin and Adori.
Xin and Adori nodded in agreement, the needle was probably only suitable for Xin, and even then, they didn't really need it. Of course, Liu Guanyi was interested in the so-called ignition weapons but he was more interested in the ancient observer.
Only the observer would be truly beneficial for them. It would make reconnaissance much easier which was extremely advantageous in the tower.
If they had it, this test would be resolved much easier.
Unlike the usual observers, it was much powerful and stealthy, so if they sent it to scout ahead, it wouldn't expose itself to the enemy and become easily destroyed. and even if it was exposed somehow, it could strike them back or quickly escape.

After all, it was modeled after the ancient observers so it shouldn't be too bad unless the Workshop had intended to scam them. And as for how powerful it was, they would only know after getting it.
Adori nodded and smiled. "Okay, let's meet later."

Liu Guanyi moved at a moderate pace as he continued to observe the surroundings with two regulars following him in the back. It had been a few minutes after they separated into three groups to find the tunnels faster.
However, even after moving quite fast for a while, he didn't manage to find any tunnels nor Adori and Xin had contacted him.
'It seems that this place was bigger than we expected. As expected, this test isn't easy. Ten minutes mark has passed but we haven't even found any tunnels yet, then… let's pick up the pace.' He pondered.
"Move faster, we have to find the tunnels." Liu Guanyi spoke to the regulars in the back.
"But, sir… we are already running very fast." One of the regulars said.
"Y-yes, that's right, sir." The other one spoke laboriously as he was running out of breath.
Liu Guanyi stopped to look at them and spoke casually. "Do you want to start running faster or to die?"
"W-we will run faster sir!" Both of them quickly answered as they instantly gave in to his threat.
They didn't have a choice, Liu Guanyi was much stronger than both of them combined. They weren't sure before but they realized this from the pace they were currently running forward.
He didn't feel any pressure while they were feeling tired and out of breath as they exerted their all just to match his pace.
Looking at his incredible physical ability and signature black hair, they assumed that Liu Guanyi must be a distant descendant of the Ha family that was forgotten in the family line.
"Good, now you go to the front. If you don't run faster, I'll kick you until you do."
"Yes sir!" They didn't dare to dilly dally and moved in front of Liu Guanyi then started to run faster than before as if they weren't exhausted.
It was incredible how humans could exert an incredible explosive strength beyond their capabilities when they were cornered and faced with certain death.
Unfortunately, such power couldn't last long as their explosive energy vanished and their exhaustion returned as they felt their legs numbing.
'Damn, not yet! We will be killed if we move slower!' One of the regulars cursed inwardly.
"Wait… look at that!" The other regular suddenly exclaimed as he attracted the two attention.
"It's… the tunnel!" The regular spoke with a hint of relief mixed with excitement.
