《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 47- Grabbing The Banana From Its Owner

In a thick forest, where the lighting was poor even in the daytime because of the close proximity of the trees that made the sunlight unable to pierce the thick canopy of leaves. In such a forest, moving with many numbers was hard since there was no clear pathing.
In this environment, a good scout and light-bearer were crucial to map out the forest to prevent the regulars from getting lost in the dark ocean of trees.
Liu Guanyi was standing on a thin branch of a tree. He was watching over many groups of people from above as it was much better than on the ground. This gave him a much better observation point, at least that was the case for him.
With his inner energy enhancing his eyes, Liu Guanyi could see for a few kilometers like an eagle.
This was the terrifying capabilities of a martial warrior!
Unlike before, he was already a Nascent Warrior for years so his limit was much greater. He could keep like this for hours and could recover his capacity in just an hour. Moreover, this wasn't all he did.
With his foot touching the branch, he also felt all of the vibrations from the ground as he also perked up his ears to catch any noise that happened in the surrounding.
With all of his abilities combined, he could search way more effectively than even the best scouts with their observers!
However, after searching and following these guys for a relatively long time, he still didn't catch anything suspicious or any signs of the bananas.
'This is way harder than expected. As I have thought, there's no way they will let the regulars get the tickets so easily, not all of the old monsters are conceited and negligent after all.'
'Maybe they also made the tournament to screen out who will become dangerous variables to their grand ambition.' Liu Guanyi pondered.

'They are researchers but they are also schemers as well. They are powerful both politically and economically. From our past years of climbing the tower, I never saw such influence even from the so-called ten great families.'
'Maybe they are the ruler in the light but in truth, their influence is nothing compared to them.'
'Most of the people we meet don't exactly have a good opinion on the nobles either. The signs are already there so who's to say that they don't research how to break their immortality either?'
'I can see that those guardians aren't almighty as well. If not, why their job is to greet and guide the regulars or irregulars like Headon?'
"Hmm?" Liu Guanyi was thinking deeply when he felt a great vibration coming from the three he was standing on.
Looking at the direction where the vibration should be originated from, he saw a lot of dust covering the area. It looked like something had hit the ground very hard to raise the dust-up in the air to cover the area in the dust.
Without wasting time, he leaped from tree to tree as his hands grabbed the tree branches and used them to swing his body expertly like a monkey. Just after a few minutes, he crossed a few kilometers of distance and arrived at the source of the vibration.
There, he saw many regulars laying on the ground, motionless. Some of them had their heads crushed like a watermelon with their brain parts and juice splattered around them.
Some lost their arms and legs, their wounds were messy which indicated that they were being pulled apart. And some of them even had fist-like holes, bigger than the humans' fists in their chest and abdomen as the entrails were left strewn around on the ground.

Looking from the corpses, it was obvious that the killer was a ruthless and sadist one with an incredible physical power capable of ripping apart human limbs, breaking heads, and even piercing through human bodies with his fists.
In the tower, people utilized shinsu to create miracles though it might not sound that amazing. However, because there was shinsu, the humans in the tower had much stronger bodies than those from his world.
Also, regulars and Rankers who had strong bodies were rare, that was the reason they mainly used shinsu to attack not their own bodies or use a weapon to boost their attack lethality.
Liu Guanyi looked ahead and saw the killer.
It was a big ape with golden fur on some parts of its body. It stood around three meters. It had two fangs that protruded from its mouth, making it look even more menacing.
He hopped down from the tree as the ape was enjoying its human meals, alerting the ape and stopping it from enjoying its juicy meals.
"Grrrrrr!!" The ape didn't take it kindly as it approached Liu Guanyi quickly and growled aggressively at him.
Suddenly, it stopped two meters from him, making Liu Guanyi raise his brows in wonder.
The ape was smarter and cautious than its look suggested. It probably felt some fear and sensed a dangerous feeling from him, Liu Guanyi thought.
'Well, it doesn't matter. If you don't want to take the first step, let me!'
Liu Guanyi closed the gap instantaneously, his fingers spread apart like an eagle's claw, grabbed its big left arm, and pulled it back strongly.
Plop!
"Grooooooaaar!!" The beast roared in pain as it felt an immense pain from its left arm.
It stepped back rapidly as it saw the source of the pain and immediately seized the human once again. The ape didn't understand a thing, whatever had just happened, it had suddenly lost its arm.
The ape only saw the human appearing in the periphery of its vision and it lost its arm. Then, it dawned on the ape that this human was different from those puny, skinny, and hairless humans before.
The ape turned its head to look at a few bananas, one of them was golden, hanging from the tree behind it and the human back and forth repetitively.
'No wonder, those guys are all dead. It seemed they wanted to take the golden banana and encountered this ape.' Liu Guanyi thought as he saw what the ape was looking at.
Seeing him unmoving, the ape quickly jumped up the tree and grabbed the bananas, and then leaped away to another tree, intending to run with the bananas!
"Not so fast, beast." A voice suddenly came from behind the ape as five needles appeared and pierced through all of its limbs and nailed it on the tree.
