《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 78- Train City

Xin ignored the regulars and made a beeline toward a specific room. From what Liu Guanyi informed him, it was room number 74.
This was a good sign for him.
It meant that Liu Guanyi had secured at least a ticket for their team.
When Xin came in front of the door, the regulars glared in his direction. Some of them even approached him, before their teammates quickly pulled them back and whispered some words.
Whatever they said, it seemed very effective as the regulars showed fearful expressions and changed their minds from trying to harass Xin.
Seeing this, Xin had a guess. 'It seems that Mr. Liu has made an impactful impression on the regulars.'
This was expected.
No regulars would try to mess with the two of them. Xin knew just how powerful they were, even if he never saw the true extent of their abilities.
He just shrugged it off, these regulars weren't anything notable, anyway. Only those low-numbered ticket holders were probably decent.
Xin knocked on the door, and soon, he was greeted inside by Liu Guanyi. "It's you, Xin. Just come in and take a seat."
Xin nodded and took a seat near a big round table where Liu Guanyi and Adori had already seated themselves.
A teapot was on the table as Liu Guanyi picked it up and filled an empty glass with piping hot tea, and offered it to Xin.
Xin accepted the tea with a thankful gesture and sipped it. As soon as he did, a calming and refreshing feeling spread through his body as if there were shackles bound around his body, and now he was freed of them.
Seeing that Xin had enjoyed himself, Liu Guanyi asked with a smile. "So, how was it? Did you get any tickets?"

"It was quite fruitful, honestly, Mr. Liu. I've searched all the regulars on the train and managed to get two tickets, not bad, right?" Xin spoke with a cheerful tone.
Liu Guanyi raised his brows. "Really? That's indeed not bad at all. Both of us only got one each, but since you got two, we can sell the last ticket to the regulars outside."
"Why bother? Isn't just better to keep our focus on the Hell Train? Even if you sell the ticket, the points you will earn from it won't be that much. We already have enough points, anyway." Adori broke her silence.
"Well, it's more to get the maximum value out of it rather than earning the points. I'm sure you understand the importance of getting that into the habit, princess. Moreover, it will only take a few seconds, right?"
"No regulars would try to do anything smart, like stealing the Hell Train's ticket from a mighty princess of Zahard." Liu Guanyi spoke with a grin.
Adori took his teasing with a deadpan expression.
But she couldn't argue with his statement, Liu Guanyi was indeed an extremely efficient person. This was clearly shown by how he always trained to the extreme over the years, and such habit was indeed beneficial as he was the one with the most improvement so she begrudgingly agreed and nodded at this.
However, she had increased her training intensity as well, almost at the same level as him. But she could feel the results were a bit lacking compared to him.
It was weird, but she felt that Liu Guanyi had some secrets to improve way faster, like the meditation and the mysterious power he had used on the floor of tests.
"Alright, let's get going. The Hell Train will arrive tomorrow and we still have something to do in the Train City." Liu Guanyi declared as he got up from his seat.

"What, we aren't going to wait and relax until tomorrow, Mr. Liu?" Xin couldn't help but groan.
"What are you talking Xin? Since when Liu knows the word "relax", and you are the one who slacks the most in the team." Adori showed a little smile as she took joy in the yellow-haired boy's suffering.
To be fair, Xin wasn't slacking at all. It was just that he couldn't endure to train as hard as these two freaks. Their durability and tenacity were on a completely different level… they were monsters!
How could there be humans who only rested for less than three hours or less every day and train very hard for the rest of the day?!
But the facts were there, and Xin could only accept them as they were. And from the objective perspective, he was in fact, the one who "slacked" in the team as his working time was far less than the both of them.
"Alright, I'll come along with you, Mr. Liu." Xin spoke in a dispirited voice.
It was understandable, he barely got here after a grueling work of looking for the tickets in a whole train and thought he could rest for a bit before he was forced to go again.
Liu Guanyi saw this and patted his shoulder. "Don't worry Xin, it won't be boring. I'm sure you will thank me instead, later."
Xin nodded but was still tired and skeptical about it. However, seeing both Adori and Liu Guanyi looked at him with a mysterious smile, he changed his mind. If both of them seemed to know about it, maybe it could be really something exciting.
The three of them got out of the room with Adori walking in the front. Once the regulars saw them, their expressions changed and quickly got out of their way. They knew who they were, not really.
It was actually more because they knew who Adori was.
A gorgeous, youthful face and figure, and the elegant and imposing bearings that she carried herself with, and most importantly, the red hairpin with the symbol of three eyes. There was no mistaking it, she was a princess of Zahard!
A princess of Zahard was not a joke. Even direct descendants of the ten great families could die if they provoke such a character! And they were sure that most of them weren't even direct descendants of the ten great families.
From the looks of it, the Hell Train this year would be rough.
There was a princess of Zahard who most likely would dominate the Hell Train, so if they wanted to ever have the chance of surviving till the end of the Hell Train, they would be better not offend her the slightest.

How to Raise Your Dungeon
A dungeon core awakens for the first time. It knows nothing, it has nothing, but it can hear something. Voices, whispering, talking, and sharing. For now, they are distant. But it believes, if it proves itself, they may provide it with wisdom and direction. And so its slow but steady growth begins. Polls will come when the dungeon specifically wants to choose between a number of options, and believes it will receive an answer. However, it will "hear" any comments made on the most recent chapter, and these will shape its behaviour. It trusts you implicitely. This story is an exercise in stretching my creative muscles, so with each decision made, the options and opportunities open to the dungeon will change- some closing off forever. The dungeon will face threats periodically, and its fate in these encounters will be heavily influenced by your advice, though it will of course do its absolute best even without advice. It hardly wants to die. Heavily inspired by There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns, though my approach to the concept is somewhat different from that work.
