《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 42- Relaxing For a Moment

When they were training on the 20th floor for three years, they weren't exactly in touch with each other. Of course, Liu Guanyi and Xin were trained together so they saw each other on a daily basis, but Adori and they didn't. It was meant so that they could fully focus on the training and no other else.
So her comment wasn't unfounded. Adori could perceive that after the training, Xin had become more obedient toward Liu Guanyi and followed his directions more seriously and rigorously. She felt that he had lost his childishness and become more mature as well.
It seemed that whatever Liu Guanyi tried to instill in the yellow-haired boy was successful. That was good for him. Even she admitted that Liu Guanyi was an exemplary trainer. He didn't merely teach the things he said but he also carried them out as well.
They wrapped up the topic about the top E-ranked regulars and continued to talk about some other common topics.
Liu Guanyi was glad that to see Adori opening up a bit by bit as they continued to travel together. It seemed that his efforts of getting closer to her were bearing fruit. Hopefully, he could harvest the fruit someday.
As they were chatting and enjoying themselves, a waitress approached their table. She wore a neat traditional outfit with her hair tied in a bun and combined with her petite body, she looked quite cute. Overall, she was quite pleasing to the eyes.
"Excuse me, Sirs and Lady, could I take your orders?" She spoke politely as she bowed her head deeply.
It looked like her mannerism was on point as well, as expected of a reputable restaurant on the 30th floor. However, this changed when she looked up and saw the face of the customers that she served at the moment.

She was a gorgeous young woman with an unblemished face. Her shiny, long, white hair loosely extended until her knees. She was draped in beautiful green robes and under it, her developing figure could be seen easily. It was certain that she would grow up into a beautiful woman in the future.
Seeing her beauty, the waitress couldn't help but feel a little jealous. But as an experienced attendant in an elite restaurant, she couldn't and didn't show it on her face.
"Just give me your best dish." Adori spoke curtly, as always.
She nodded at the white-haired girl's words and jotted them down on her notes. She turned to the two other customers and asked. "And what would be your orders, Sir-"
She stopped halfway as she saw the faces of the male customers. It was a cute-looking young man with yellow hair. But that wasn't the one that made her break her mannerism, it was the one beside him.
He had a handsome face with two dark, black eyes that could make someone entranced seeing them. He had soft, straight, long black hair that hung loosely to his back. He wore black martial robes, showing his muscular and lean body underneath.
With his calm look as he was sitting there, complimenting his good looks, she had never seen any man more good-looking than him!
It was natural, Liu Guanyi had been born with a good look and physique. Furthermore, as he walked on the Martial Way, his body was becoming purer and stronger as it was being refined by the inner energy, making his appearance better and better.
Even an ugly person would become handsome given that he managed to reach far on the Way. Not that Liu Guanyi cared that much other than making people have a better impression of him,

"E-excuse me, what's your order, Sir? She quickly fixed her misconduct and repeated her words.
"Just give us five dishes that you'd like to recommend for new customers." Liu Guanyi smiled lightly not minding her little slip-up.
Seeing his calm and thin smile, the maid couldn't help but be entranced by it. However, she quickly recovered as she felt a threatening sensation pricking her entire body. Glancing her eyes slightly, she saw the white-haired girl looked at her with an intense, cold and dangerous gaze.
"A-alright, we will prepare it right away!" She said hastily with a stammer and hurriedly ran back to the kitchen as she couldn't stand and buckled under the piercing gaze and dangerous pressure.
Seeing this Xin couldn't help to comment on the weird act of the waitress. "What's wrong with her? Why she seems in a hurry?"
"Maybe, she forgets something important. Who knows? She can just have a bad day." Liu Guanyi shrugged it off as he looked toward the princess with a smirk.
Adori simply stared back at him with an unyielding gaze and expressionless face. The staredown continued for a while with Xin looking confused on the side of what was this all about.
Seeing her didn't show any intentions of backing down, Liu Guanyi wisely gave up.
A wise man didn't fight a certain losing battle, after all.
The restaurant didn't let them down as they only waited for half an hour before all of the dishes were arranged neatly on the table. They took time to savor the dishes, a holiday like this was rare in their team so Liu Guanyi wanted both of them to enjoy it as much as possible.
Well, they certainly could take their time all day here without any distractions and disruptions since Adori had booked the entire restaurant. Well… it was her points and she was affluent anyway so it was okay to splurge from time to time. It wasn't like they did it every day.
Adori did so was because she wanted to enjoy the natural feeling of the restaurant as real as possible, so a quiet environment was needed. Hence, the waitress's over-reaction didn't come from nowhere. She knew that they were important customers since they could book the entire restaurant.
So she didn't want to mess up her job, but unfortunately, she did it anyway. Although they didn't really care about it.
Plus, the most fortunate thing for her, Adori didn't reveal her identity as a princess of Zahard when she booked and dined at the restaurant so her job was probably still going to be okay. Probably only being scolded by the supervisor no more no less.
With that out of the way, they enjoyed their time at the restaurant and prepared themselves for the coming of the Workshop battle!
