《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 41- Preparation For The Workshop Battle

After training for more than three years the three of them had advanced by leaps and bounds as if they were caterpillars that metamorphosed into butterflies after breaking their cocoons.
Liu Guanyi and Xin were able to stably create and control four bangs and used Amplification Shinsu Control Style to take advantage of their superior shinsu control among the E-ranked regulars.
Meanwhile, Adori was even more mysterious. She had never shown her true prowess even to her teammates. How much was her improvement was, was anyone's guess. She was extremely strong, that was obvious.
Maybe when Liu Guanyi had become much stronger or when they met a very powerful enemy would she use all of her strength.
With their powerful line-up and resourceful minds, they advanced the floors rapidly with ease without facing any real obstacles. Finally, after only around two years, they had managed to reach the well-known 30th floor, where the Workshop battle for E-ranked regulars would be held every five years!
The Workshop battle was a prestigious tournament for the regulars to fight and compete with each other to obtain the items that the Workshop produced.
If it was merely items why would those top E-ranked regulars compete desperately for them?
The thing was, those items weren't the regular items that could be easily purchased in the usual shops even if they were expensive, no. They were all limited edition weapons and equipment that only the Workshop created. They were all hand-picked and superior to anything on the same level in the market.
The E-ranked regulars could even get their hands on C-ranked equipment or better if the Workshop happened to be generous. Moreover, this battle was prodigious so if they won the battle, they would earn a lot of glory and reputation as well.
If they had a good result, maybe they would even gain some support from the ten great families or any wealthy organizations. Because of some of the reasons or all of them combined, most of the regulars who had reached the 30th floor would even willingly wait for the Workshop battle to prepare and train themselves for the battle.

They did so even though they knew that it was an extremely competitive event with most likely, all the top E-ranked regulars would take part in the event.
However, there were three people who didn't really pay attention to those things too much and enjoyed themselves in a well-established eatery. It was obvious without saying that those three were Liu Guanyi, Adori, and Xin.
The restaurant was a medium one, not too big nor too small. It was clean and decorated with many trees and various plants in small potteries.
Overall, those decorations made the restaurant looked green and the air inside fresher, and also gave off a calm natural feeling.
The three sat on a big round table, casually chatting and drinking their preferred drinks. Liu Guanyi had a cup of black tea, Adori had a glass of apple juice, and Xin had a mix of coffee and milk.
"Ahh, it's truly wonderful and satisfying to relax once in a while after a long period of working hard and training." Xin cheerfully exclaimed.
Liu Guanyi nodded. "Yea, it really is. It's also good for your mental and physical health."
Hearing those words coming from the training freak himself made Adori stare at him and roll her eyes. "Really? Then why you aren't taking more breaks from now for your health?"
Liu Guanyi chuckled and then smiled. "Nah, I will pass that, I am fine. Maybe I am just built differently from others regarding durability and endurance. Rather, I am curious if there's any opponent that could give us any challenge in the Workshop battle."
Adori only shook her head and spoke curtly. "Probably not."
Liu Guanyi simply smiled at her response and turned to Xin instead. "How is it Xin, did you find the top E-ranked regulars teams?"

"Uh-huh, let's see the information that I have compiled yesterday." Xin took out a gray-colored square lighthouse and opened the database.
"There are quite a few decent teams with a good combination of roles and strong members. I think the well-known two top teams make the cut. The top team was famous for its powerful members. All of their members are from the ten great families without exception, and their leader is said to be a direct descendant."
"They only stay on the 30th floor because they are interested in the Workshop battle, so it's easy to say that they are the best E-ranked regulars." He explained as he read the information.
"And the other one is said to be a unique team. The team only consisted of Animas or they only accept Animas on their team, of course, they can serve as the other roles as well. Their leader is said to be an outstanding Anima from the main branch of the Lo Po Bia family."
"Even though they are all animal lovers, their other abilities don't pale in comparison either. In fact, it's their Anima abilities that complemented their other abilities." Xin ended his explanation.
"Interesting, I'm curious of what these Animas are capable of. They are on the rarer side, after all." Liu Guanyi commented.
"Anima… Lo Po Bia family…" Adori mumbled at the mention of the Lo Po Bia family.
"Hmm, what's about them? Are you familiar with them?" Liu Guanyi coolly asked.
"How do I put it? The Lo Po Bia family is the main supporter of the Zahard family. So probably they won't fight us too hard." Said Adori.
"I see, we will see later. Both of them have a strong line up especially the top team with their standard team composition. However, the Animas team might not be much worse since they can maintain their position as the top two."
"It's unlikely for them to match us but having their information beforehand isn't bad, we can see their weakness and strengths and make a suitable tactic to defeat them effectively." Liu Guanyi explained calmly.
"You are always right Mr. Liu, I heads you up on that. That's what we, scouts, basically do in the battlefield but it's always better to have it before the battle if possible like the light bearers do."
"Hmmph! Of course, you would support him. You two are always sticking up together." Adori snorted at his comment, though it held some value she admitted.

A Will Eternal
A Will Eternal is the fourth major xianxia novel by the renowned Er Gen. It tells the tale of Bai Xiaochun, an endearing but exasperating young man who is driven primarily by his fear of death and desire to live forever, but who deeply values friendship and family. The story takes place in the same Universe as Er Gen's other novels, but is a separate story and can be read alone. That said, it does have connections to the other novels, especially I Shall Seal the Heavens. Those connections only pertain to a handful of chapters, so you can read the novel as a whole and enjoy it without first reading ISSTH. However, the best reading experience would begin with the later portions of ISSTH. This novel is much more comedic and light-hearted than Er Gen's previous works, although it has its fair share of action and drama.
