《Realistic Tower of God: The Martial Way》Chapter 22- Final Test Part 5

Liu Guanyi had expected that a few discerning regulars would notice the odds in the rules, but he didn't expect that these scouts would make things much easier for him by luring the scouts themselves.
Not long after, they managed to get a tall hybrid to a designated spot. When the hybrid arrived, he instantly put on his guard as he didn't see anyone who contacted him.
Suddenly, in his peripheral vision, three people came out from the darkness and approached him, surrounding him from three directions.
Seeing this development, a bad premonition arose in his mind.
"What are you doing? Didn't you call me to tell a crucial information?" He asked loudly.
"Hehe, nope, sorry. We are here to teach you that climbing the tower doesn't solely rely on your skills." The short one spoke with a smirk.
"Let's not talk nonsense. We should finish him quickly before he could notify the others via pockets." The glasses rebuked as he ordered.
Hearing the boss, the short one moved to attack the hybrid. The hybrid retaliated instantly as he managed to push back the shorty with his powerful strength. But that didn't mean anything as the two brothers already circled him and ganged him up.
Even if he was stronger and nimbler than any of them, he was no match being attacked on three sides. In a short time, he was already on his knees with his weapons and pocket were taken.
"Bastard! The princess would never let you go!" He shouted in fury.
They merely smirked hearing the loser's lament.
"Heh, do you think a princess of Zahard would care about a no-name like you? She doesn't even care about this test, idiot! She is already guaranteed to pass." The average one spoke with derision.

"Disable his limbs but don't injure him gravely, we are prohibited to kill after all." The glasses callously instructed.
They proceed to cut off all of his important muscles and tendons connected to his limbs. Then, after making sure he can't do anything to tell the others, they simply dumped him somewhere hard to find.
They continued their plan after they changed the place and lured the scouts with various reasons. They repeated this several times until it was the last one.
"Finally, this should be the last one." The short one heaved his breath tiredly.
"No, there are three more. But for some reason, they didn't respond even after we call them repeatedly." The average one said.
"Maybe the encountered those from group A or the shark, who cares? Those three have lesser points than us so they won't hinder us either way. Let's wait somewhere safe to pass the time and then return to the starting zone" The glasses said.
They were about to leave when they heard a voice coming from the darkness. "Really, I must thank you all for making this much simpler."
"Who!" All of them exclaimed in surprise. Not expecting that someone was waiting for them since the beginning in the darkness.
The average one was bewildered and exclaimed. "Huh?! There is only you?"
Feeling disrespected and looked down, the short one grinned. "Bro, let's teach give this arrogant guy a lesson he won't ever forget!"
However, the glasses scrutinized the newcomer and found something wrong. "Wait! That long black hair and black clothes, why are you here?!"
Liu Guanyi ignored his question and struck the foremost person, the short one. With his subpar combat capability, he couldn't even put any resistance and was instantly sent down.

Knocking the weakest one, Liu Guanyi turned around and engaged with the average one. Just like before, he didn't even sweat one bit as he overwhelmed the guy. Watching the situation rapidly unfolding in a dangerous turn, the glasses knew he couldn't let it continue anymore.
"Please wait, sir! Aren't you a fisherman, why do you target us, scouts? We can talk it out if you have anything you want us to do!" The glasses tried to appeal to negotiation.
Liu Guanyi didn't care and pummeled the average guy on his temple, making him unconscious. Seeing this in horror, the glasses lost all of his cool and begged once again.
Unfortunately, Liu Guanyi didn't give a f*ck about him. He might be a little smart, but being a bit smart was not enough.
One needed talents and determination, which of course talents came first, at least that was the case in the tower. Just look at the Adori Zahard and Tu Perie Xin.
If Liu Guanyi wasn't a Martial Practitioner who had inner energy, he would even lose to Xin in terms of physical prowess.
Liu Guanyi was considered talented because his comprehension was better than most of the regulars that he found and he also trained much harder.
Compared to a real prodigy like Adori, who had managed to master basic Body Enhancement in a glance, his talent was nothing.
However, he had a premonition that it was only for the current state. This was proven by what he gained over two months of training. The result was much more than his expectation.
He felt the magical effects of shinsu on his body, drastically increasing the maximum capacity of his inner energy!
With this, once he returned to his zenith, his power would be multiplied by many times! Far surpassing what he could achieve in his past life!
Liu Guanyi broke his thoughts and took care of the three scouts. He was about to leave when suddenly, his pocket had turned active.
On the pocket was written. "Tu Perie Xin"
'How was it to use these devices again? He said to order it with my words?' Liu Guanyi recalled the instruction he was told.
Though he was already taught to use it by Headon, it was only some functions of it. These special tools didn't exist in his world so he couldn't help but struggle a bit to comprehend and use them.
"Accept." He spoke curtly as his pocket reacted to his voice.
Suddenly, a familiar voice came from the pocket. "Ah, Mr. Liu sorry to contact you at this moment but I got the information you want." Xin's voice could be heard coming from the other end.
"You got it? Good job! Do you know where they are moving toward?" Said Liu Guanyi.
"They are heading to the west. Sorry, I haven't cleared all the scouts yet, I cannot find them at all."
"Don't worry I have done it myself. Just focus on our group scouts if there's any with higher points than you."
"Alright, good luck Mr. Liu." Xin spoke cheerfully and turned off the call.
The call ended as Liu Guanyi thought about his plans.
'Let's end this meaningless test with something meaningful.' Liu Guanyi thought with a calculating look on his face.

Papercuts to Fell Immortals
Qing Shen is a girl from the counrtyside, forced into a role she never wanted by a Young Master who's infamy is spread throughout the land. As a Cultivator in the path to immortality, Qing Shen has to deal with her own problems as well as the mysteries surrounding her Young Master. Things, however, are not as they seem, and the young girl finds that sometimes the truth is more unbelievable than the lies we often follow. . . . If you want a less hidden-meaning summary: This story is about the struggles of one girl as she tries to become an Immortal. There won't be any meaningful romance, but there will be a plot that spans most of the story, and violence. Oh the violence! I'm not going to say that my ideas are 100% original (because hoo boy are there a lot of Wuxia), but hopefully I can write something entertaining. Guaranteed things: 1. Cliche events with a twist (I mean, it's literally in the description) 2. Important Characters will have backstories and motivations that will hopefully make them not one-dimensional (honestly, that's just normal stuff...) 3. Untrustworthy characters (everyone in the story lies, even me, so don't trust everything you read... but at the same time, trust everything you read) 4. Goodish grammar (not gonna say mine's the best, but it's readable in most cases) 5. Plot! (Everywhere!) 6. worldbuilding? (Should be there somewhere, but I probably won't do blatant info dumps... probably) 7. Character development? (Its there... at some point...) 8. The story gets dark at some points (if you don't like characters dying, then this might not be your cup of tea) 9. A strong main character? (She'll be strong, yes. However, her enemies are also strong. If everyone is strong, then is she no longer strong? My brain hurts) 10. Wow, this list is going on for awhile... uh, Believable and reasonable Action? (I mean, I'm writing for mainly my fun, so if I want a fight scene, then I might craft a scenario to explain it... or I might suddenly throw in a Dragon and call it a day) This story also goes by the same name over on Webnovel.com, but I'm going to be updating it here because, well I want to. They are both by me, and created by me. If there's anything that seems like a copy of another work, then that's just the genre being saturated by everything under the sun.
