Chapter 2 – Roman
Roman: “Then, I challenge you!”
Oh God, why me out of everyone in my class!?
Do you like to pick on weak looking guys!?
Well, too bad, I’m far from weak!
When I finally realized that I was thinking all of that out loud, literally the entire class was already staring at me. Some were laughing while others were calling me names like: “dead meat”. It didn’t bother me at all though. Actually, it just motivated me more. Motivated me to show them all just how strong I really am! Muhahahahaha-GEFU!!
While I was in my own little world, the fight had already broken out without my knowledge. I received a good, clean kick to the gut. It didn’t really hurt because of my stats but honestly, that’s just playing dirty!
Roman's POV a few minutes back...
It was time for the summoning ritual to begin. The royal family, excluding the queen, was surrounded by a small army of veteran knights; ready to fight off whatever the ritual may bring forth into their plane of existence if something goes awry somehow.
The kingdom's 10 greatest mages all gathered to perform the ritual. They enclosed a large magic circle which gave out a faint red glow. Just looking at it gave me a disgusting feeling. If you’re curious, not just anyone has the capability nor the capacity to perform this certain summoning ritual. The secret to its accomplishment has only ever been passed down to the kings of the kingdom. Rumors even speculate that the founding king, the first king himself, was also a summoned hero who was brought to this realm by the very same ritual.
At the king's command, the ten great mages began to chant an ancient incantation which caused the magic circle to release a bright, blinding, white light that was strong enough to force everyone in the room to shield their eyes.
After a few seconds, the light started to fade and the voices of several people could be heard. When I finally opened my eyes, I saw a group of no less than thirty people standing on top of the now inactive circle. The men were all wearing black clothes with gold-colored buttons. Their clothes covered nearly their entire body - only showing their hands and heads. The women, on the other hand, were wearing black tops with red lining and skirts which, I believe, fair maidens such as them should not be wearing. In short, the summoned heroes’ outfits were very strange.

I took a closer look at their odd group and noticed that, aside from a handful of grown men and a few grown women, most of them didn’t have any actual muscle or build at all! They looked just like normal children! How could these children possibly have the power to save our world!?
But then, I noticed someone at the very back of the group – just slightly away from everyone else. I almost didn’t notice him. Actually, it was as if he didn’t want to get noticed.
He had short black hair with bangs that covered almost half his face and he wore a looser version of the outfits which his fellow male companions were wearing. His posture was very lax and his small frame making him look even weaker. How can this person possibly become a hero? I analyzed him closer, trying to find at least one notable attribute he could possibly possess. Then, I finally noticed it. Unlike the others, he seemed to be fully aware of his surroundings, reacting to every little movement from the guard force wit ha quick glance as if prepared to move at any time... Odd.
I decided to observe him as we approached the throne room, forming a plan in my head to expose his true nature. Soon, in a few more seconds I would put my plan into action.
**
After a few minutes of walking we finally arrive at the throne room and I was told to teach them how to open their statuses, everything was going as expected except for the fact that one of them didn’t have trouble with opening it as the others did, yep its him it’s the same creepy kid!
Why is he smiling? Are his stats really that good? As if he was simply confirming something.
This kid's weird, he has an aura around him that makes him that makes me feel uncomfortable, an unexplainable feeling. It can only mean two things, either he was already summoned to another world as a hero or he’s a spy sent by the demon king. Let’s just hope he’s not the latter.
After everyone in their group was able to open their screens I go to the king and ask a favor, if I was anyone else the king wouldn’t have even considered it but we’ve been friends since we were young even before he was crowned as a king so he allowed my selfish request.

Roman: “Then, I challenge you!”
I was at least expecting some sort of reaction or response when I issued the challenge. This guy is definitely a lot tougher to crack than I first anticipated. He looks so calm and collected. He's probably waiting for me to make the first move so that he can see what he's up against. But, as they say, “First to strike, first to kill.” and I've never been the type of person to look a gift-horse in the mouth.
I sprung into action and, to my surprise, actually landed a strong, clean hit directly to his face. I watched as his body fell to the floor with a thud. Weird, I was expecting so much more- SHIT! I immediately grasp my arm while trying not to draw too much attention. What the hell happened to my arm!
Alex POV
I stared at the ceiling as my body was sucker punched hard, enough to send my body flying back. It really didn't hurt that much, but it was still a pretty dirty move to pull. I mean, really, who tries to punch someone when clearly they're having an internal monologue.
This might pose a problem though. If I land on the ground and everyone realizes that I'm unaffected, then there's a chance that people might start suspecting something and I can't keep up this cover anymore.
On the other hand, I'm pretty pissed right now and I really don't feel like letting this guy off so easily. Hmm...what to do? Oh, what to do? Wait, I know!
In a split second, I activate a skill so that my speed would increase a hundredfold and sent a quick slap to his arm for a simple counterattack that made the arm let out a snapping sound. Yup, that’ll hurt.
Now all I have to do is give myself a black eye… ah, shit this is gonna hurt like a bitch!
I used whatever’s left of my airtime and speed spell to punch my right eye with a little bit of strength.
Ouch...
Well, now all I have to do is pretend to be knocked unconscious.
After a few seconds of me not moving my I start to hear my classmates laugh, some actually pitied me saying something like “Isn't that a bit too much?” Pfft! As if you care! Then I hear footsteps coming towards me, small and light. Probably a girl.
“Yep, he’s out cold..”
It was the class rep. After confirming my condition she walked away, I’m guessing towards Dick face... Ehem I mean Roman.....
They were pretty far away but I heard bits and pieces of what they were talking about. Something about being too aggressive and to not do to my other classmates what he did to me. Hey, what about me!?
Aren't you going to say something about hurting me, you bitch!?
Well whatever…its not like I actually expected some help.. *sniff*
After a few minutes of waiting, two people (I’m guessing guys) started pulling me away like I was a bag of potatoes while complaining about how heavy I was.
I swear.. If I wouldn’t be in trouble if one of my classmates suddenly disappeared I would have- afsdfSdqWRHegadfwafv
Phew.. okay... I’m okay now no really….
It wouldn’t hurt to be nicer though.. Well after a few minutes of being dragged I was placed on a soft soft bed, mhmm this is a good bed, well since I have the opportunity to sleep I’ll sleep!
Just before I fall asleep I start thinking about my first ‘reality’, that was a really long time ago huh….
