“Did you forgot what I told you earlier? We’re currently in hell, can’t you remember? Gosh, even though you’re a youngster that’s supposedly the future of new generations, you’re already old enough to forget about things that happened in a few hours of your life.” Mevis said, seemingly mocking him.
"How can I know! My mind is so confused earlier that some words you've spoken comes out of my ears!" Wei Xiaodan replied in anger.
At the next second. Mevis' eyes gleamed in a dangerous hue. His eyes were so cold that Wei Xiaodan almost thought that his body's gonna freeze from coldness.
Like, as if he was a totally different person from before. Wei Xiaodan almost thought that maybe the face he was wearing earlier was simply a disguise as a cold sweat dropped from his forehead.
"Watch your mouth youngster. Although this old man was a truly old one, that doesn't mean I simply listen to a young one barking in front of the elderly. Be thankful that I'm in a good mood or else your head would be rolling in the ground right now." Mevis said with a smile.
The smile etched on his face was so evil that Wei Xiaodan almost choked himself.
Mevis pointed out his finger to the door leading to the outside world and said, "If you want to leave, you're free to do so anytime you wanted. But don't expect I'll help you out if you got stuck in a trouble."
Wei Xiaodan couldn't refuted. It wasn't because he's scared of Mevis. It's because he knew he was in hell. A true hell.
If Mevis was one of the seven kings of hell in the demon world, doesn't that mean there's another of him out there? Wei Xiaodan almost wondered how hell the demonic world managed to function properly, thinking that crazy ones like Mevis were managing the demonic world.

"Can I ask a question?" Wei Xiaodan asked Mevis with a paled expression.
Mevis revealed a smile as if he had predicted this outcome and said shortly, "Sure. Speak, I'll lend you my ears."
Wei Xiaodan wiped away the cold sweat forming on top of his forehead. He was really intense as of right now. After all, this was a problem whether he could return alive to earth or not.
"If this was really a different planet from earth, does this mean that there's other creatures like humans in here too? I mean, this is hell we're talking about. A planet cannot advance without its people."
Mevis cackled under his breath.
"You're really a smart one I daresay. You're not even shaking in front of a demon king and even dared to ask a question in front of it. Like I thought, I chose the right one to become my disciple," Mevis paused for a moment and said, "You're indeed right. There's also creatures living in this world. More powerful entity than a human could imagine. Heck, the weakest creature here might be able to show off a power that could destroy a country. They're called demonic beings. I'm gonna be honest here. I'm also one of them. Although the difference was huge because I was born as a powerful entity from birth, I'm still in the category of a demonic being. Such a thing also works for other demon kings, not only me."
Wei Xiaodan became even more paled.
"T-then…. Can I survive if I leave this room and return to my world?"
Mevis formed a huge grimace in his face, "Well, we won't know unless you try."
Fuck it! This devil's even more evil than Wei Xiaodan thought. The devil didn't even gave him a proper straight answer, but instead a frightening one. Well, what can he expect from a devil in the first place.

Wei Xiaodan uncertain if he should ask again the devil, gathered all his resolve on his heart and decided to steeled himself.
"Last one question. Can I survive out there and return to my planet in one piece?" Although he already knew the answer, Wei Xiaodan still asked.
Mevis sneered and replied, "Would be better if you just jump into lava. Aren't you listening from what I've told you? Their strengths are far greater than a human could ever imagine."
Under those words, Wei Xiaodan's heart seemed beat even faster. His unshaken will weaken to a state of panic for a few seconds there, but it only lasted for seconds.
And after dwelling deeper into his thoughts, he has finally come to choose a decision.
Mevis used this situation and tried to tempt him again with his offer.
"So, how about it? Are you willing?"
"I really appreciate your offer and your kindness as far of saving me, but I really had to turn it down," Wei Xiaodan turned his back from him and began walking away in distance, "I've already decided, I'll embark forward and return home even if death gate awaits me next door."
And with that said, Wei Xiaodan opened the door to a new future. His body began to tremble under the intense heat torturing his body, and returned a glance at Mevis before smiling away.
"Thank you for everything." Wei Xiaodan finished his speech and walked outside the house before closing the door.
Mevis watched his figure disappeared as the door closed and could only fall into the ground in defeat.
"Me…. Mevis the 3th…. Was rejected by a measly human. If words of this spread in the entire demon world, they'll surely start a search party for him and torture him for hundred years. Kukukuk. It seemed like what I pulled out from the dirt wasn't simply a gem, but instead a black diamond. Now, I really can't afford to let him die."
Mevis cackled devilish as his eyes gleamed in a strange light. The ceilings seemed to tremble although no force was being put.
"Indeed, perhaps he's even more valuable than a diamond. From his attitude alone, and the way he confronted me without fear. That alone could prove that he's an entirely dangerous being. What a harvest this was…"
