Marcy blinked the messages away. As the messages faded and black enveloped Marcy she muttered, “No one better of taken my name yet!” Before anything else came up she shouted into the void, “My name is Tittia!” A few seconds passed before a prompt appeared.
Welcome Tittia!
Now enter in your last name.
Marcy smiled then without thinking said, “My last name is turncoat.”
Confirm your name
Tittia Turncoat
Yes / No
Marcy nodded, but did not answer right away. After a moment she spoke rapidly, “Yes. My alias is Myst” A Prompt appeared.
Alias Confirmed.
The darkness swirled around Marcy for a moment before solidifying into a round room full of mirrors. Marcy smiled, “Oh goody! Do I get to buy clothes now?” Even joking she quickly looked in the mirrors to find the one she was searching for. After reaching out and touching one she stepped back over to the large center mirror. Marcy stripped out of her clothes and put the starting gear in her new backpack. Looking at herself naked in the mirror she muttered, “Okay let’s see.” Marcy was still short, just under 4’9, but as her current race choice of Wild Elf, her pale skin had darkened and tanned to a degree that would make the most faithful beech beauty jealous. Her too skinny frame had also fleshed out a little, giving her slightly larger breasts and curvier figure. Marcy laughed to herself, “Most girls lose their figures playing as an elf, but I gain one” The most striking changes though were to her hair and eyes. Her long blond hair was now a dark honey brown, and her pale blue eyes were a stunning emerald green with a thin purple ring before the whites. Marcy twirled around looking at herself then approached the mirror, “Okay let’s see here. I need to be taller I think, and I would like more boobs.” She touched the mirror and then paused, then touched it again. “What the fuck? She knocked on the mirror, “Hey stupid thing I want to change my appearance!” She knocked on the mirror, then punched it, and then began to kick it repeatedly. After raging against the mirror she tried to see if there was an issue with the Wild Elf by choosing another race. Nothing allowed her to alter her appearance further than the basic racial changes. “This is fucking stupid!” first my toon is deleted and now I can’t even change this fucking face! Some game this is.” She flared at the mirror, then snarled, “You know what fuck it!” Sitting down she began to braid her long hair.

Half an hour later she had her thick main of hair tamed into a tight braid. Reaching into her backpack she pulled out her knifed and smiled at the mirror. “I’ll fucking look different even if you don’t let me change it the easy way.” With that she began to saw through her lovely locks. Half an hour passed before Marcy stood up. Her long hair was laying in its braid on the floor. Now a uneven short mop of honey brown hair sat atop her head. Looking it over Marcy turned each way sawed through a couple more strands then smiled. “Fuck you” she told the mirror. Picking up her backpack she walked through the door.

When the room appeared Marcy was already moving. She ran to the left and quickly saw the beam leading over the chasm. Not even slowing her pace she ran over the beam, relying on her new Agility to master the balancing. On the other side she started searching for the key, “Okay you little turd, where are you? HA!” She ran to the first spawn spot and found the small key laying there. Picking it up she ran back across the beam, heading to the cage. When she reached it the wall was just starting to heat up. The Orphan inside looked up at her, “Please help!” it begged. “Oh shut up” Marcy snarled. She inserted the key in the lock and it popped open with a quick turn. “Out now!” “oh thank you!, the little Wild Elf Girl exclaimed. The child ran over to give Marcy a hug, but she pushed the brat away and turned back toward the beam. She again ran across, but paused on the other side to glare at the small child, who was creeping across the narrow beam at a slow pace. “Oh for gods sake” marcy muttered but she did so quietly. She hahd snapped outloud before and startled the child. That always ended with eh kid freaking out and falling off the beam to splat in a bloody mess far below. Marcy had her hand on her hips and was tapping her foot impatiently when the orphan reached the other side. “About damn time. I hahte kids, and if I didn’t get coins and experience for rescuing you I would leave you in that damn cage to fry.” The young girl turned wide terrified eyes on Marcy, but the women had already turned and started walking toward the door. Placing he key in the lock she turned it and pushed the trembling child through before her.
