(Gisei talks about his team)
"Hey grandpa, what was your team like when you were a genin?" I asked.
Grandpa had a surprised look, but it quickly left and he smiled instead, "In one word? Diverse."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"You see, One of my teammates name was Might Duy. He was… Energetic to say the least, and someone that I have respect with, he was a genius in Taijutsu. No one could beat him in the acadamy, not even the teachers, though his other grades were Lower. He was always rambling about Youth and posing."
Gisei stopped, remembering the first time Duy had smiled at him. He got blinded for a few seconds with how shiny they were. And those eyebrows, he had shivers.
"I could never beat him in a Taijutsu match, he had a motto 'True strength only exists when you protect someone precious to you', he was right too."
All the times he had challenged him. 'Gisei! I want a rematch!' 'Gisei, the first one to arrive at the gate wins!'
'But sensei! Duy is the strongest person in Taijutsu! Why cant he become a Chunin like us?!'
'Don't worry Duy, We'll still be friends right Gisei?' Akina had said, 'Of course. We'll always be a team. No matter what.'
A tap got Gisei out of memories, "Grandpa? You okay? You stopped responding."
"Aha, sorry, I was lost in memories."
"Who was your other teammate?"
"My wife, Uzuki Akina. She was a gentle girl, always making sure we had everything we needed, or that Duy would not push himself too hard in his training. She was a great medic-nin and the best with a sword, everywhere she went, it would be like a storm had passed through, cutting everything in it's path.
'Duy! Sensei said to take it easy this week! Why are you still doing laps around Konoha then ?! I don't care about youth, just take it easy for once!'
'Gisei, got everything?' 'What do you mean you forgot your sleeping bag? How can you even forget that?! And stop taking only Dangos! It's not a good food for long missions! Ugh, you are hopeless.'
"Together, we were one of the best assault teams, during the war later, we would always be on the front lines. It was a great time, if you forget the death all around of course."
"That's amazing grandpa, do you have any other stories?"
"Maybe Later."

(Gisei's scar)
"How did you get that scar geezer?" Tayuya asked Gisei
"Huh? What scar? The one on my right arm?" Tayuya nodded, Jin who had heard them, stopped meditating to listen.
"It was during the 3rd war. In that time, kiri had a special unit, who's fame started growing, the seven ninja swordsmans of the mist. They all were geniuses in the art of the sword, during a mission, we met one of the members. Juzo Biwa. He was the wielder Kubikiribōchō, a massive sword that fed on the iron in blood to restore itself."
...FlashBack No Jutsu!…
(Beetle: Aburame Muta / Wolf: Gisei / Cat: Uzuki Akina)
"Beetle, did you find anyone?" I signed, all three of us perched high on a tree.
He shook his head, "Negative, my beetles could only find dead bodies, all split in half, most likely the result of a skilled swordsman, the culprit seemed to go north, towards one of our camps." He responded slowly
"Any chances that it was one of the seven?" Cat asked.
Beetle thought for a second, "High, most likely the user of Kubikiribōchō."
I could sense Akina's Excitation.
"Cat, do not get distracted. Beetle, How long till he reaches the camp?" I prayed we would have time to run back and prepare. Juzo was known for his brutality.
"With the speed he is going at, Ten Minutes at most."
So not enough go back. Shit.
"Prepare to chase after him."
They nodded and we rushed in direction the north.
After a short time we caught Juzo. He was just finishing cutting in half another team he had found.
"Beetle, wait for the opportunity and drain him of his chakra. Cat, You take him on Kenjutsu, I will support you.
They both nodded and we sprung into action.
"Earth style: Mud Garden!" I slammed my hands on the ground and tried to catch him while he wasn't paying attention.
The vines moved and tried to grab him, but Juzo was prepared and cut all of them as soon as they appeared. And jumped high in the trees.
"Tsk, another team huh? You guys just keep showing up. And Raiga who's doing god knows what again." Juzo said, Kubikiribōchō on his shoulder.
"Juzo Biwa, will you surrender and come quietly, or will we have to use force." I said, hoping we could still get out without a fight.
That hope got crushed when Juzo jumped towards us, "I got no time to lose with you!"
He swung at us, but cat intercepted him with her sword.
"Oh? Another swordsman?" Juzo said, "Maybe I'll play a little then." He pushed more strength into his sword, cat took a step back.
"Earth Style: Earth Dragon bullet!" A dragon appeared behind me and flew towards Juzo and Cat with a roar.
"Hitting your own teammates?" Juzo kicked Cat towards the dragon and dodged, she popped, leaving only smoke.
"Shadow clone?"
Beetle shook his head slightly, he had planted bugs on him.
Just have to drag this on and it's our win then.
"Dance of the crescent moon!" Cat appeared behind Juzo, shadow clones coming from the left and right, while another jumped in the air.
"Water Style: Water clone Jutsu." Clones of Juzo appeared and blocked all attacks, he ran past on of the clones and Swung, cleaving in half all the clones.
He didn't stop there though, he kept going with his swing, following the momentum, he propelled himself at us. Ready to strike.
"Earth Style: Earth Wall!" A wall of earth appeared in front of me and Beetle, blocking his attack, His sword Kubikiribōchō getting stuck inside the wall.
"Cat, now!" I screamed.
Cat appeared behind Juzo, ready to take his head off.
She was about to hit when a lightning strike cut her sword and threw her back.
"Took you long enough Raiga!" Juzo said, as another swordsman appeared.
Raiga Kurosuki, wielder of the Kiba.
"Shut up Juzo. I was occupied, another team was blocking my path, I had to take care of them."
"That wouldnt have happened if you stayed with me instead of going on a rampage you idiot!"
"Keep talking and I will kill you myself Juzo." Raiga said darkly.
Juzo Huffed and took out Kubikiribōchō from the wall.
"Shall we finish the mission?" Raiga asked.
"No, My chakra is too low, and those three are well coordinated. We won't be able to get out without grave injuries. And I can sense another team coming."
"Who said we would let you leave?" Beetles insects quickly appeared all around them, quickly climbing on them and sucking their chakra.

I used the leftover mud to trap them.
"Shit! Raiga do something!"
"Lightning Burial: Banquet of lighning!" lightning rolled down from Raiga's swords, frying them and the insects of Beetle.
Cat found herself blocked by all the lighning flying around, and couldn't dodge Juzo's sword.
"Akina!" Time slowed down as I jumped in the lightning to push her aside.
Kubikiribōchō came from above, cutting my right arm. Blood gushed from the wound.
"Raiga! We're leaving!" Both the swordsman used the Lightning to run away.
As soon as they left Akina appeared next to me.
"Gisei! Why did you do that?!" She screamed at me, using medical jutsu to treat my arm.
"I don't know. I didn't think, one moment you're about to get killed, and the next I'm losing my arm. I'd say it's a good trade." I tried joking. She just swatted my head.
The blood loss is making me dizzy.
"Hey Akina?" I called out to her.
"Shut up Gisei, I'm trying to reattach your arm right now! And keep your damn mask on!"
I smiled, "It might be the bloodloss going to my head but, I think I love you."
I didn't get the time to see her reaction, I lost consciousness soon after.
…Kai!…
"That was so cheesy grandpa." Jin Pinched his nose once Gisei finished recouting the story, Tayuya agreeing with him.
"You little brats. That wasn't cheesy at all! Since it's like that, re-do all the training we did today!"
They both whined, but did so anyway.
Though, he was slightly concerned by the way Jin's eye shined when he talked about Juzo.
What sort of nightmare did he unleash?

(Tayuya's gift)
Gisei age 42 / Tayuya Age 5 / Jin age 6
Date: February 9 (J-6 till Tayuya's birthday)
It was almost Tayuya's birthday and I still didn't find a gift, I knew that we were in a prison so getting her a gift should be impossible.
But we're in a ninja world, nothing is impossible, even green little dudes coming from space in a Spaceship.
I already knew what I wanted to get her, it was obvious too. I just had to get a guard to get it for me.
I had finished a match in the arena, I did as always, a quick Water Prison till he lost consciousness.
The guard opened the door, and we started going back to my cell.
I watched the guard, he seemed bored out of his mind.
"Hey guard." I called out to him.
He spared a glance at me, Too short, "What is it?"
"Could you just loose the cuffs, they're digging into my wrist and it hurts."
This time he looked directly at me, I made some blood spill from my wrists, to prove my point.
"Wait a second." He fiddled around with a set of keys, before inserting the key and turning it once, th cuffs loosened. He looked at me in the eyes, "Better?"
"Perfect. Ketsuryûgan: Blood World." I stuck him in a Genjutsu.
"This is what you're going to do…" A minute later, the guard left me to my cell as if nothing happened.
Though he was slightly trembling, the guard that is.
Now to wait.
…
A week later, February 15.
Tayuya: Age 6
Today was Tayuya's birthday. So today was free of training.
Tayuya took the occasion to hum songs, like she always does when bored, or just feeling good.
Somehow, someway, Gisei had gotten access to a birthday cake, or well, more exactly Three slices, it was a Three chocolate one.
That day we learned that Tayuya has an incredible sweet tooth.
I think Tayuya almost fainted when she took a bite. It was one of the rare moments where she actually acted girly and hugged Gisei.
A guard knocked on the bars, the same one that I had 'asked' to get me a gift.
I got up, under the curious stare of Gisei and Tayuya.
"Here. We never talked to each other." He said as he handed me a small cylinder shaped present.
I hid it from Tayuya's view as I turned around.
"Here, Happy Birthday Chibi-Yuya." She scowled at the nickname, but it was replaced by a surprised expression when she saw the present I was handing to her.
She grabbed it and ripped off the package, a pink one of all things.
She gasped at the sight that greeted her.
A flute, silver in color, while each ends are Dark purple.
She looked at it, then at me, then back at it.
"How..."
"You told me one day that you'd love to play the flute, like before you got here. So I got you one." I replied.
She stared at me for a few seconds, before hugging me tightly, "You fucker, thank you so much! She's perfect!"
"Can't… Breathe…" I said, turning blue. She let go of me with a 'eep' and I gasped for air.
"How did you convince the guard to get it?!" She asked excited, hoping to use the same trick against them probably.
"I may have Cough Cough showed him a thing or two." I grinned, before coughing again.
She's got a strong grip, that's for sure.
"Jin, what did you show him?" Uh-Oh, Gisei's tone was far too calm.
"That is a secret grandpa, I mean, it's not like I showed him an Onsen full of hairy old men right?" I grinned.
Tayuya tried so hard to hold her laughter but failed and fell into a giggling mess.
Grandpa just face palmed, shaking his head and probably wondering where he went wrong with my education.
Jokes on him I'm what, 25 now with my other life? My education has been long done.
…
Tayuya playing the flute was one of the most beautiful things I'd heard in a while.

(Tayuya's first cycle)
Gisei Age 48 / Jin Age 12 / Tayuya Age 11
No one was ready for it. Especially not me.
It started as a normal day, we woke up, Gisei taught us whatever he wanted, we did our session, everything was going well.
Until that fateful moment.
Tayuya in the last week had been acting weird, she was tired often, Changing moods in the blink of an eye and being easily irritated.
I should've seen the sign, I had a little sister after all.
Now, The Ketsuryûgan has some… Side effects, one of them is being able to smell the blood around me. It's not very useful since well, no one is bleeding often here.
Except if they're getting killed of course. But Im getting distracted.
I was in the middle of meditation when a faint smell of blood tickled my nose, I tried ignoring it, but to no success, with a sigh I had opened my eyes and tried to spot the source.
So Imagine my surprise when it led me directly above me.
It was at this point that I knew something was gonna go wrong.
"What?" Tayuya snapped at me, she was scratching between her thighs.
"I can smell blood coming from you." I simply replied.
"What the fuck are you talking about fucker. Do you see any wounds on me?"
"Well no, but you're bleeding somewhere, I can smell it, its been annoying me for the past 10 minutes."
Gisei appeared next to me. "So it's happening huh?" He sighed, clearly, whatever was happening, he didn't want to explain…
Oh.
Oh no.
"Tayuya Sweetie, can you get down please? We're going to have a little talk."
10 minutes later…
Tayuya had called (read Screamed at the top of her lungs, and she as strong ones) a guard here.
Coincidently, it was the one that I had used to get her flute years ago.
He was currently grabbed by his neck, his face pressed on the cell.
He had the misfortune of saying no to Tayuya.
"I don't give a shit about your opinion! You either get me what I need, or I will rip your head off your scrawny neck and shit down your throat! I will not wait a fucking week to STOP BLEEDING FROM DOWN THERE WITHOUT ANYTHING TO HELP IT! SO MOVE YOUR GODDAMN ASS AND GET ME WHAT I NEED!" She released him (Read Pushed) and he fell on his ass, he nodded fast and shunshin'd away in the blink of an eye.
Poor dude got scarred for life a second time.
Tayuya Huffed Angrily, and went back to her bed.
I whispered to Gisei, "You could've approached the subject a little better don't you think?"
"Probably not."
We looked at each other, then at Tayuya, we both drew the same conclusion.
Let's not agitate her for now. It'd be bad for our safety I think.
Dear god, its going to be like this every month.
And I'm going to have to go through puberty again too.
Fuck.
Kill me now, the first time was bad enough.
