《Ghost Girl, Ghost Girl. She Gonna Take Your Soul!》Chapter 3: Haunting the Home (II)

After that terrible day, it was back to normal. The mother got over her ring since the father will buy her a new one. The father quickly forgot his horrible morning with batch of beer cans at night.
The next two weeks, Ghost Girl studied her parents routines and habits. It was quite shocking to Ghost Girl! Ghost Girl was very distant from her parents, when she was at home they usually ignored each other. The mother doesn't cook and most of time eat takeouts or microwavable food. When she was at school, Ghost Girl don't know what they do.
And watching for the past two weeks, it was shocking. The mother usually called cleaning services when the father was away. The person who came were usually one man. Then the mother and the man had sex in the bedroom!
The father heavily watched porn in the middle of the night on the weekends in his 'man cave' in the basement. He was a heavy drinker, drinking bottles and cans of alcohol. He considered himself connoisseur of alcohol. You can tell from his massive collection of fine bottles and different kinds of brand. But really, he's just an alcoholic. He's also a big sports fan, collecting all kinds of memorabilia.
And over the past two weeks, they started cleaning out her room! Selling her games and laptop, stealing her personal stash of cash, and burning her clothes!
Ghost Girl had enough. She thought a few ideas on how to get it done.
Saturday night, the father was in his man cave. HIs usual routine was watching porn and his sports channel playing loudly on the flat screen.
SLAM
The father heard a loud slamming sound upstairs. He got up from his chair went up the starcase. He saw nothing suspicious but once he tried to turn the doornob, it's stuck.

Then he heard sounds of broken glass!
The father ran downstairs and bottles upon bottles are falling from it shelf!
From his desk, a lighter lifted in the air and was lighted. Then it was tossed towards the liquor on the ground. A fire was started and spreading! The father was scared out of his wits! He had no fire extinguisher and left his phone in his room, so he wasn't disturbed!
There were no windows and no bathroom to get water, his first instinct was to get out of here.
Back to the door, it was still jamed! The door wasn't wooden, but a steel door. The father banged on the door and stomped on it. "Lucy! WAKE THE FUCK UP! FIRE! FIRE!"
The fire was spreading to carpet, rug, couch, and anything else flammable. The smoke was filling up the basement and getting very hot.
***
The mother was slumbering until she felt the room was heating up and then smelled smoke. She jolted up and realized something was burning!
It was dark and cloudy, when the mother tried to make the first step on top of the staircase. Something stabbed her in the foot! "Ahhh!"
She slipped her hand on the handrail and felled on the stairs, but while tumbling down on the stairs, she felt her whole body was stabbed!
The mother groaned on the floor, still breathing. She felt her whole body was in pain. She pulled her hand in front of her and saw a couple of nails in them! Nails on her arms, legs, feet, back! A few nails entered her neck!
She was bleeding profusely! Her mind was getting a little hazy and felt something on her head. Due to curiosity, she reached the top of her head and felt something. Ah... it's another nail. In her head...

The mother slowly turned her head and saw a bunch of nails sticking up on each step of the staircase. Who put them there?
Before she closed her eyes for the final time, she saw a shadowy silhouette.
***
Ghost Girl witnessed the death of her parents. After their death, two black pearls appeared in front of her. She assumed they are souls, that she can used to get powers. She put it in her shoulder bag, but it wouldn't matter. The deed was done, her parents are killed and her home was burning down.
Ghost Girl was standing in the front lawn and can hear the fire trucks coming.
"Okay, I'm ready!" Ghost Girl lifted her head towards the sky and and spread her arms.
...
...
Her parents are gone, the caused of her death! She was satisfied. She didn't think she had worldly attachments! Maybe... But it's trivial matters!
"Okay now! I'm ready to move on!" Ghost Girl yelled to the sky.
...
"Fuck."
...
"I need to talk to Chala."

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. Like my profile says, it’s hopefully like a salty snack, decent and satisfying for people looking for this kind of thing (at least that's my hope). It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. He figures some time alone cruising on a sick jet ski will help clear his head. After a small series of mishaps he winds up as humanities last hope adrift at sea after nuclear devastation destroys the mainland. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the bowl of the ancients before nuclear winter freezes over his dwindling food supply? Who are these mysterious women he keeps meeting, and will he even care about the talents they bring to the table, or will he be too focused on how they keep ruining his carefully laid plans for survival at sea? Read this cheesy short story to see for yourself, and discover the true mystery behind the hand of fate.

The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple

RELINQUISH
Sometimes I wonder why the world isn't decorated with something as cool as magic... Why can't we manipulate the laws of the world? Why does the story about God sound too fake to be believed? Why the hope for this world to be saved from the bottom of everyone's heart can never be fulfilled... Then I landed on each conclusion from each of those questions... That humans are the most cunning, meanest and stupidest creatures who are most desperately expected to not have any power including magic itself. That it is not God that we should believe in, because they themselves do not believe in how disgusting human nature really is. That everyone's hope is not for the world to be saved, but for the world to be destroyed in order to save their own selves. That the world from the beginning, was not meant to be saved... (I frequently revise and update the use of sentences in the previous chapters without disturbing the original storyline. so sometimes it takes me a little longer to publish a new chapter.) I have the same novel posted on another website (Webnovel.com , creativenovels.com) with the same name (RELINQUISH)
