《Sieg's Glory : World of Ellus》Chapter 2: World of Ellus (edited)

Sieg is a retired pro-gamer. Due to an unfortunate accident, he had to withdraw from the professional gaming circle.
As a gamer who was quite famous in the past, his income was enough to fulfill his childhood dream, opening a bakery. Apart from when he started, he now lives a leisurely life leaving all work to his subordinates.
So he spends a fair amount of time doing the things he likes, playing games. As he searched for a new recommended game, a notification popped up on his computer, a game ad.
The name of the game is Ellus, a free-to-play RPG game. In short, this game is about you going on a journey to save the world, a classic trope. This game, with its high-end graphics featured in advertisements, captivates the likes of Sieg. A sucker for great art in games.
The game downloaded in seconds, making him worry about the actual quality of the game. Thankfully the graphic quality isn't fake, as the first thing that greets him is a blue-eyed, blonde-haired character that looks so alive, sword in hand and an imposing giant door behind him.
He clicked start, and the game started with a video, an introduction to the game's background story.
Ellus, a vast and beautiful world with its many races and kingdoms. The elves of Yunan forest, the dwarfs of Grahar mountain, the fairies of the Maula plain, the seer of Koja desert, and many more. It is a beautiful world. But not for much longer.
Invaders, they came from another world. They came to attack and enslave. Spirits, guardians of this world, lost and were sealed. But they managed to use their power to slow down the invasion. By creating an enclosed space on land and distorting the rules of the world, they restrict invaders so they could only stay in the specified area.

Of course, this is not a foolproof plan. The invaders soon found a way. By corrupting the crystal that is the source of the space's power and seizing control of it. They will be able to break free and with the world's rules, trapped in another generated enclosed space. The cycle will continue until they occupy every land in this world.
And so, the inhabitants of this world gather, by making a one-way door to the isolated space, their strongest warrior walked into the space. To defeat the invaders and take back their land.
Over time, this place is called...
Arena
A woman's soft voice tells the story along with the many scenes shown in the video. He was very impressed especially with the graphics and the vastness of the world.
The video ends and jumps to the character page. Inside was the same blonde-haired, blue-eyed man. He wears cool black and silver armor with a very chic design, a black cloak on his left shoulder, and a cold-looking sword. Overall, luxurious looking character.
This character's name is Ernest.
___
The light of dawn seeped through the window, revealing a dazed man sitting on his bed. Slowly he came back to his senses.
Looking around him and reaching for the calendar, he took a deep breath. Ecstasy filled him. He's back. Back on graduation day, when his new life begins.
Getting off his bed, he made his way to the window. Below, many students are already up and going.
A peaceful morning. Unlike in later years, now the number of territories occupied by the invaders is still small, and their power is still bearable. The feeling of despair is not as strong. People can still smile and laugh, unlike the empty eyes that he always sees in the future.
Clenching his fists, a ferocious light shone in his eyes. That gloomy sight, he will stop it. This time, he wasn't going to let that happen.

Now, he needs to plan, meet certain people, train, and many other things. Also, the gamers that the spirits speak of, in what ways will they help?
Pssst
A hot feeling suddenly appeared in his hand. Looking down, a pattern was slowly drawn on his hand, with a hint of light escaping from it. Slowly, the pattern was completed and the light dimmed. In his hand was a rather pretty silver in color pattern.
'???'
___
"Done!"
Sieg had just finished the command to create symbols from the game.
[Create patterns that are unique to you, activate connections with characters, and make them your avatar.]
So it's like a tattoo. Having limited creativity, he googled and decided to draw a snowflake tattoo.
He was rather impressed that the game included this DIY aspect.
He chose the back of the character's right hand as a place for his tattoo.
[The character Ernest is now your avatar.]

The Court of Souls?
Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur) ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— What do we talk about tonight? ~“How about a story?”~ Fine by me. Which story? Hopefully a good one. ~“There was once a lonely child in a world filled with myths, gods and demons. Only power counted there and the weak were worse than cattle. A world where survival of the fittest ruled.”~ Was it strong then? ~“No, but the child had a power. One that made him stand between light and darkness. Nothing could escape him, so he was shunned by his people.”~ What did he do? Did he fight his fate? Did he hide his power? What was it? ~“Oh, he fought. He fought a lot. And no thing could escape his power. It was something that everyone had to live with.”~ So he became a hero and changed the world? ~“…”~ Tell me. ~“Nooo, that's not how the story goes. This isn't a story of a noble man, doing good amidst a sea of monsters. This is a story of a demon who was... kinder than the rest.”~ A kind demon? How boring. ~“I think it would be better if I tell the story, so you can judge for yourself.”~ So tell the story!

Block Dungeon
The world of Sleyn is a little doomed planet made of blocks. Its World Core is under assault from a corrupting force known as the Ostrum, and it seems unstoppable. As a last-ditch effort, the World Core forcespawns a bunch of Dungeon Cores so they can level up and push back the Ostrum. So far, all have failed. This fic is a dungeon core set in the CoreVerse. You do not have to read any other CoreVerse book to enjoy this. It is heavily inspired by vanilla Minecraft and Terraria, with a healthy sprinkling of mod influence, too. PG-13 ish, with a sprinkling of profanity and some violence, but the descriptions are pretty tame.

A World Forgotten
***This story will contain lite-litrpg elements, mainly character pages and a town page. There will also be settlement building and adventuring, missteps and achievements. But one thing it definitely won’t have is a harem. Nor will it have an overpowered MC. Contains mild cursing.*** ***feel free to critique my writing and offer input. This is my first venture into writing. I've always enjoyed litrpg/gamelit books. I feel like I write how I talk, so it may be a little different. You won't hurt my feelings if you see something wrong or out of place! *** ***What follows is a condensed part of chapter 1. Enjoy!*** Drew Cooper is thrust into a new, unfamiliar world. Waking up in his sweats and t-shirt near what seems to be a forgotten path through some woods, he struggles coming to terms that he's no longer in his apartment. As he tries to cope with his new reality, he hears a horse coming down the path. He hides behind a nearby tree dreading what may happen next. As the horse approaches, he sees a man walking next to it. The horse is burdened with packs and gear. When the man nears, Drew nearly panics. He has a large sword strapped to his waist, obviously a fighter. He continues to hide as the man slowly passes only for the man to stop a dozen meters past his hiding spot. "You may as well come out, ya know. You weren't as well hidden as you thought," the man stated matter-of-factly, letting the horse’s reins go and putting his hand on the hilt of his sword. Slowly and scared for his life, Drew raised up and walked from behind the tree. "I-I'm sorry. I wasn't planning on attacking you. I-I don't know where I am. I heard your horse and hid. I didn't know what you'd do if you saw me. I'm sorry," he nervously blurted out. A minute passed. Then two. The man seemed interested with Drew and stepped closer, eyes squinting as if trying to see something. "What's that on your shirt? Is that. What is that? Is that, Pac-man?" The man was visibly shaken while pointing at me. Looking down at his t-shirt nervously, "Yea. Yea. I woke up here a few hours ago I think. 3 maybe 4 hours. I’ve just been sitting here. Where am I? What's going on?" Drew asked. "That's not important right now," the man replied. " What's important is where you're from. What year is it?" "What year? April something 2020. Why? What's going on?" Drew continued now worried. The man was taken aback. After a few moments, he seemed to calm himself some. The man sighed and looked at Drew in earnest. "Well, I've got good news and bad news for ya. Bad news is you're not on Earth anymore. Good news is you happened to run into me and not someone else. You’re either really lucky, or it’s fate we met in these woods, and I don’t believe in luck." The man continued to walk towards Drew while talking and put out his hand. "I'm John Mitchell from St. Louis or thereabouts. You’ve got nothing to be scared of by me. Walk with me and let’s talk."
