《The Black Sheep Prince(complete)》Chapter 67:Coronation

100 days after the explosions – Palace
Day of prince coronation
After reluctantly accepting the job, his coronation was announced to the public, with surprising positive response
Part of the reason was because it was announced he invented the potion capable of learning inner mana, but it was mostly thanks to his achievements in the few weeks he ruled as a replacement for his parents
Besides, the story where he was hiding his talents was becoming more believable each passing day, even though it also became more believable he was behind the explosion in the temple
Basically, the people were happy of having someone in the throne, and were afraid he would do something if they complained, so everyone unanimously agreed to just celebrate and look the other way about the explosion
It was definitely the duke and a conservative party part of the Zergeit empire under Generall Rexford, no doubt about it. They were even publicly punished for their actions and were paying their sentence in prison
It was definitely them, ok!?
So no one ever complained
As for the military, they were happy with his achievements in the war, the mages were thankful for his inner mana potion(since it elevated their status) and the nobles keep they mouth shut since the prince had dirt on them
Happy ending, right?
Of course it was, it could be perfectly seen in the prince face whit his grandiose smile. It was definitely NOT a forced smile, of course not
Why would he be having a forced smile? It was a dream come true, almost like a fairy tale. The unremarkable prince, the super hyper mega-underdog ended up beating all the monsters and won the crown
With a story like that, how could he have a forced smile?
Besides, all kind of people had come to congratulate in his coronation

There were the elves and dwarves representatives that came for the first time to a human coronation and were received as the guests of honor. It was something deserving to go into the history books
There was also the prince sister Alice, future queen of Zergeit empire and his Fiance prince Damian. It was like a romantic story told by a bard where love surpassed even the enmity between two countries that have been going on for centuries. When it was announced their engagement, most of the country cried, but they let her pursue her love with a blessing. Besides, they publicly apòllogiced for the rash actions general Rexford did behind the country's back, blaming his fear of allowing the two countries to work together for now on
Mix the two together stories, and this looked like the start of a beautiful friendship between the four kingdoms
Besides, all the major powers inside the country were present to congratulate the future king
The king and queen were present, after previously apologizing to the public for not showing up, saying they wanted to test how the prince would work as a replacement without them watching his back, and since he did such a wonderful job, he was chosen as the successor
Some people asked them to kept at it for a couple of years more, but they refused by saying they wanted to give the next generation a chance, so those people reluctantly agreed in the end
It also helped that another guest of honor was the old man, that was allowed to be inside the palace thanks to his years of service in the mad king times. Most people were surprised not only at the sudden appearance of a legendary figure but also that he was a friend of the prince, making the mysteries behind the prince increase even more

The general and the archmage were also present, congratulating the prince for the wonderful job he had done so far, and that they were looking forward to working together with him
There were also the nobles, congratulating him for his coronation, and some of then even asking if he wanted to take their daughter as a mistress
Finally, by his side were present his fiance Elena, his new adopted daughter Lina, and his two bodyguards Aria and Susan
And outside the palace, there were thousands of citizens celebrating the coming of a new king, with hundreds of soldiers guarding all the exits to make sure no one tried to run aw... I mean, get inside unnoticed
This day would mark the end of Black Sheep Prince
And would begin the story of the Black Sheep King
The end

He was the 'Rebirth Destroyer', someone ruling powers deemed a threat. Chased by death and the foretelling of the world ending by his hands, Aiden soon finds that there are few people he can trust. My stories are fantasy-based and heavily influenced by classic Final Fantasy games ( by classic I mean 1-10 ) and other Japanese Role-Playing Games I used to enjoy, with one difference; the main characters are Black. July 2022 update! After months of deliberation, I've decided to continue with this cast of characters in the next books instead. The loose ends in this story have been keeping me up all night. I've gotten started on 2 sequels to this; Rebirth of Destiny II based on the good ending and the alternative ending. After I get a good backlog built up they'll be published once a week.
