34 days after the explosion - Duke's bedroom

The duke was trying to process what was going in front of him

Not only was his room suddenly invaded by four people, but they were the prince lazy prince, the dead princess, the crazy general's daughter and his own daughter

Even a nightmare would have been less terrifying than this, but he was sure he was awake and it didn't matter how much he wanted for this to be a dream or even an illusion caused by a serious psychological problem

He couldn't even scream since he made sure that the room was sound proof and the worst part was that even if it wasn't, if the girl in front of him was Rebecca(and only Rebecca could open a portal as easy as breathing) making this room sound proof was not only easy, but the least of his problems

"Duke, my old friend, old buddy, old pal, how is life treating you?"(prince)smiled at the duke like he was seen his best friend after a long time

The duke graved his sheets a little tighter while turning a little whiter

"Ehhhh, prince?"(Duke)

He was really trying to grasp his last remaining chance that maybe he is mistaken and that's not the prince, because he may be able to weasel his way out of anybody else, but the prince really have a good reason to kill him

"Oh! you got it right at the first try, not bad, not bad. Since you know who I am, I guess you know why are we visiting you at this sudden hour of the night, right?"(prince)keep smiling while slowly approaching the bed

Of course the duke knew why he was getting a surprise visit in the middle of the night, he didn't know how he did it(although he suspected it was thanks to the woman behind him) but he knew that it was better to play along for now and see how it develops

"Not really, it must be really important if you have to use such an unorthodox method. Can't we do this tomorrow in a more suitable place and time?you kind of catch me in a bad moment"(duke)tried to play dumb

He didn't expect it to work, but since he didn't know how much the prince knew, the less he say the better

"Sorry sorry, but we must do it now and if you don't want to deal with me, I can leave it to my SISTER over there if you want"(prince)

The duke turned even paler at the statement. He knew her reputation, so the prince would be 100 better than her

"No!!nonono!nononono, it is fine, let's do it now"(duke)almost screamed

"Ok then, let's start with a simple question, why did you tried to kidnap me?"(prince)said while turning the light from the duke nightstand and looking directly at the duke with a "smile"

"Kidnaping? what are you talking about? I would never do something like that. I am sure I am been wrongly accused. How can you believe that I would do something like that?"(duke)acted offended

"Cut the crap, in case you haven't noticed, we have your daughter over there and she already confessed everything, and let's just say we didn't use conventional methods. Unless you want to be asked in an unconventional way, I would start talking if I were you"(prince)lost the smile and glared at the duke

The duke glared at her daughter, and then he notice the slave collar at her neck. He knew that if he wasn't careful, he may end up even in a worse situation

"But are you sure that she wasn't deceived? It wouldn't be too hard to alter her memories and put the blame on me. It would even make a lot of sense since not only would they get rid of you, they can put the blame on me. Besides, why would I do it?I have money, I have power, I can have any woman I want and I am already in history as one of the supporting pillars in your father's ruling, it makes no sense that I would try to do something against this empire that I have invested so much"(Duke)

It must be said that he was quite pleased with himself, it was a sound argument and it should give him some room to maneuver

"Look duke, I am completely sure it was you, so you answer truthfully or you get sis, my patience has a limit"(prince)

That wasn't good for the duke, he was basically forced to admit he was involved on the kidnapping or deny and be sent to the monster

"WAIT! Why are you so sure!!!!??"(duke) was starting to panic

But prince just smiled at that outburst

"Your choice "duke", You talk or you get sis"(prince) threatened the duke

Now the duke was really in troubles, he knew the moment he confessed, his options would diminish a lot. Basically, one is innocent until proven guilty, so confusing would end up proving his guild

However, if he kept bluffing and the prince sends his sister, he would lose everything. His choices were gamble all in a bluff, hoping to scare the prince, or lose half of what he had and hope to earn something later. The duke was starting to REALLY hate gambling

"SIIIIIIIS the duke wants to have a little chat with you"(prince)turned and with the sweetest sound he could muster, he called his sister

"WWAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT!!!!!!!!I TALK I TALK PLEASE PLEASE DON'T SEND ME TO HER!!!!!"(duke)cracked

He couldn't risk it, who could? That monster was known to make the impossible look like child's play, would you gamble when you knew that if you lost, you would get the devil in person? no way, so the duke surrender

Now he had to play a different game. He would give as little as possible and get as much as possible back. This was now a fight so the how much he would be able to keep

On the other hand, the prince was pleased with himself, since he was bluffing. The moment the duke said that someone may have brainwashed Susan and that it was a trap to put all the blame on the duke, the prince must admit that he almost believes it. It actually made more sense than him betraying the country

Problem was, he already made all this mess of showing up in his room in the middle of the night, so he couldn't just say sorry, my bad, and go back where he came from, so he bluffed. Besides, until the duke confessed, he wasn't sure how much Rebecca would cooperate in an interrogation, especially if she believe what he said or considered interrogating the duke to much of a hassle

And he was half right half wrong. The argument the duke gave was really good, and since it was a hassle, she didn't feel like doing it and prince would have to bargain really hard to make her moving. The thing is, she was really pissed at the way the duke acted the moment the prince threatened to send him to her(she also didn't like the way prince worded that, but she was more pissed at the duke) and the scream at the end didn't help his case

So, if prince didn't manage to extract information from the duke, Rebecca wouldn't mind experimenting a bit with the duke

Note: Well guys, I have good news and bad news

2 bad news first

The first bad news is that I kind of screw up a little thing last chapter. I forgot to describe Susan reaction to prince sister sudden appearance. Not really important but well, let's just say that the sudden appearance of Rebecca shocked her. since prince liked to play around, of course, he didn't tell her, and she ended up surprised by her sudden appearance

As for the other bad news, and this is more important news, The Black Sheep prince is almost at the end. There are around 20 chapters left including side stories, so yeah, it is almost at the end. To be honest, I could have extended the series to 40-60 chapters more, but decided to give you guys the ending sooner and maybe make them as side stories after the ending

Now the good news

I already started writing part 2. it is 8 years after the end of black sheep prince and tells the story of a high school class of superheroes(literal superheroes, with super powers since they were born) summoned to the prince world "by god Letho" to "fight evil", and if you don't realise " " means bull sh-t.

This story was already planned from the beginning, and SPOILER!! if you remember what was stolen from Rebecca's room(chapter 10) you may realize how they were actually summon

It will be in first person point of view, will have more action and won't be a mystery(similar to Paul's side stories) and will follow the story of the only non-powered person in the group

I have written a prolog and chapter 1 so far, and at the end of chapter 1, there is a major spoiler of this story, so read at your own risk
