15 days after the explosion – In front of the palace

The prince was kind of bluffing, he couldn’t make that many traps and there were no wards on the place. The only trap he could make had been the one he gave to the servant inside the package that morning, and the only way to activate it was manually so he ordered the servant to activate the package the moment he said f*ck you

He only told him to breath from the mouth to diminish the effect, but he still would fall asleep with the rest. The only advantage was that he should wake up first thanks to breathing through the mouth. He really didn’t explain much, just step by step on how to get there and how to act, nothing more. It was kind of revenge for hell week, but he was also the only working staff he could relay on, since he was the person his parents trusted the most, and he knew the guy from years, even if he never really like him or bother to learn his name

But it’s not like he had come unprepared, for starters, he had his sister covering him from the shadows, sending a sleep spell to anyone that tried to hurt him or run away, and he knew that since the mana in front of the palace was great, she shouldn’t have a problem in casting a massive sleep spell, since she really was a monster

Well, the prince really didn't trust her with his life just because he believes in the goodness of her heart, but he doubted she would betray him. First he already paid his tribute and made a deal with her, and she isn't the kind that breaks off an agreement she makes, no matter how Sadist she was inside. Besides, this was probably fun for her and it wouldn't be good for her if something happens to the prince

Besides, he had a meat shield and a healer besides him and if things went south, he could order aria to grab him and Susan and jump the fence and run to the griffons and ask Susan to heal him if something happen.

But he doubted he would need all that since the explosion and the people falling asleep around them should keep everyone in check

“Now, you are probably wondering why I am doing this, and the answer is simple, I am prince Julian”(prince)

Everyone was absolutely shocked at the statement since it was weird on so many levels. It was already surprising to have a prince in front of them, but all those people came here because of him, and they came to complain and catching him by surprise with this sudden protest, so having him appear just like that made no sense. Besides, HE WAS THE GUY THAT BROUGHT THEM HERE

“I know it makes no sense, but it’s the truth. I am the reason you all came here, so here I am”(prince)

“And the reason I appear in front of all is to deal with all of you at the same time. I heard what you guys say behind my back and I felt disgusted with all of you. Seriously YOU.GUYS.DISGUST.ME!"(prince)

Most people showed contempt or anger on their faces but before they could say something the prince made a stop sign with his hand

"Remember remember the bombs at your feet"(prince)said with a smug smile and some small dancing while waving his index finger, freezing most people

"now, like I was saying, I felt really piss off when I heard all you people whining and complaining about my actions. Aria, bring that guy over here"(prince) said while pointing at the orator from yesterday

This surprised Aria for a second, since she didn't expect to be suddenly called by the prince, but she quickly reacted and after watching who the prince was pointing at, she went to grab the guy. The poor guy was pale as a sheet but was too scared to run and in the end he got caught by Aria without problems

"Now mister, what were you saying yesterday about me?"(prince) said with an evil smile while Aria brought him just beside the prince and stayed behind his back

" "(orator) didn't know what to say

"speak!"(prince) raised his voice a little bit to make him react

"Ehhh! don't hurt me!!"(orator) covered his face in fear

The prince understood that he wouldn't be able to make the orator speak, so he decided to face the crowd

"fine, if you don't want to say it then let me help you with that. If I remember right, you said I murdered that maid, am I wrong?"

and like the prince suspected, the orator kept quiet

"well, since you want to keep quiet, even when it's the bull s-t you tell these people what brought them here, let me explain all of you little sh-ts what really happened"(prince)

surprising, instead of bhuuing or cursing, the crowd paid more attention to what the prince was saying

"Simple, she stole stuff from Rebecca's room and got killed by the buyers. The guard that got killed helped her get the stuff out of the castle. If you guys did a little research instead of believing the first thing they tell you like idiots, you would find out the truth. by the way"(prince) prince stoped talking and punched the orator in the face causing the crowd to gasp

"That's for blaming me for Elena's attack, and by the way a-s holes, she is still alive"(prince) said while pointing at the crowd

"Besides, that mad dog over there didn't kill the guard, we had at least 100 witness that can confirm she beat the crap out of him without killing him" (prince) said while pointing at Aria

"And the people who hate me for a harem, even if I understand the envy, you should know that this one is a mad dog, the other show fewer emotions than an automated doll and the last one got stabbed in the heart, so it's not a dreamy situation like you guys thought"(prince)

"And finally, after years and years of treating me like sh-t and looking down on me, you complain when I step up and try to keep everything in check while putting my life at risk instead of just taking everything valuable I can carry and run away, leaving you to fend for yourself like you deserve? and to make it worse, I am actually risking my life since no one knows how the explosion happened and if they are trying to kill all the royal family. But besides having to keep the empire running, watch for any assassination attempt and doing mountains of paperwork, I also have to deal with the unjust complaint of people who believe simple rumors instead of actually finding out what is going on in the country? "(prince) tried to make the crowd feel guilty, with absolute success

" Anyone has anything to say?"(prince)said and waited for anyone to say something

and since no one said anything,he decided to pull his last little revenge on the complaining a-s holes

"Figures, easy to complain when you have an excuse and your a-s isn't in the line, but when it comes to actually steping up and do something ballsy, no one dares. Well, since I don't have anything else to say and no one else dares to step up"(prince)said and then the prince clapped his hand 3 times

This confused the crowd since it made no sense(like everything that happen till now) but a few seconds later, all the crowd felt asleep

By the way, the reason the mother of the maid didn't show was because he instructed the servant to activate the trap near her, since he knew how she looked like and the prince instructed him to follow her from her home. The prince did it this way since if she started to cry or act in rage, it would be harder to control the crowd

"Priiirirince, whaa aats goiing on?"(Aria) was too surprised to speak properly and couldn't process what has just happened

"I just activated the traps, nothing more"(prince) lied, he told Rebecca to make them all fall sleep at the end, but the end result was the same

"buut, how did you do it?"(Aria)

"secret"(prince)winked at her

"well, grab the guy I punched, I am still not done with him"(prince)

The only people not affected by the spell were the ones inside the palace, the prince and his 2 bodyguards, so Aria would need to carry the guy

"and put him at the palace prison"(prince)

"prince, what do we do with all those people"(Susan) wondered what was his plan with all this crowd of unconscious people

"Just leave them there, they will get up eventually"(prince) answered without a care

He did feel a little better after taking out his frustration with those people, but it was time to get some answers from thise guy, even if he doubts that he knows much

The prince entered the palace from the front door and they let him come inside since it was kind of obvious he is the prince. He told the guards not to worry about the people sleeping and just keep guarding and when he came inside, she told two maids to look for the head butler(the servant) around the people hit by the white powder and bring him inside

Lastly he went to see if Lina was ok, and after confirming that she was just petting some horses and didn't realise that there was a commotion outside, the prince was glad that everything went alright

It was a shame he couldn't dress as the magician anymore since everyone knew how he looked, but a wig should do the trick if he needed to go outside again. For now, the prince would go to the prison and see if the orator knows anything useful
