7 days after the explosion - Magic university

The prince was in the carriage thinking how he should proceed. They didn't leave in good terms the last time they saw each other, so it would be dumb to not prepare something in advance. Well he could just skip it and forget about it, but after what happen with Elena, he didn't want to give up yet.

He thought about bringing the two body guards but he didn't trust them to keep Rebbeca's fate a secret since it was a pretty big deal. He couldn't trust in his alchemy since she probably could insta-cast some spells, and they wouldn't be the pretty ones.

In the end he decided to bring the meat shield and hope that the slave crest is capable of shutting her up if he made it an order.

"Aria, come with me, we are going inside"(prince)

"What about me?Why can't I come"(Susan)

"She has a slave crest, so I can order her to keep it a secret"(Prince)

"Hey"(Aria) protested

"No complaining, it will be your own fault if you open your mouth, and you can stay in the carriage if you are afraid"(prince) Would take her even if she didn't want, but it was better to taunt her and make her come willingly

"Fine! I will go"(Aria) got a little mad but could refuse after the taunt

"But what about me? don't you trust me to keep it a secret?"(Susan)

"I don't trust people, I know people. And I know you give information to your father, that's why he put you with me. So yeah, I can't trust you with a secret"(prince)

This made Susan embarrassed, but she didn't press the matter or deny it, since it wasn't really a secret she informed his father. The prince trusted the duke since he trusted his family ability to select the right person for the right role, so he believed that the duke general and arch mage worked for the country, even if they tried to take advantage of the situation. That's why he didn't mind a little spying on his part in stuff that didn't matter, but who knows what would happen if the duke, or anyone else, knew that the prince wasn't the only heir to the throne right now.

For starter, Rebbeca would refuse to become queen and would use force if necessary to prevent it. But it was possible that someone would get the great idea of killing him and force her to take the throne. There was also the possibility that Rebbeca would go on a rampage and make every one forget about her or just run to another country.

That's why even if the prince didn't know or suspect that the duke have being doing dangerous stuff behind his back, he didn't want for Rebbeca's fate to be know by anyone else beside the people who already know.

He gathered all the courage he could ouster and got out of the carriage and went to see his sister. ON his way there, he brought her favorite cake(Jorge told him it worked every time he made her mad) and some extra candy if it wasn't enough

He enter the room and before she could say anything, he offer the cake as a tribute/offering.

"I guess Jorge told you my weakness"(Rebbeca) said while grabbing the cake putting it on a table

"Yeah, so I am safe or should I run to the hills?"(prince) not moving a muscle but ready to run at any second

"yeah, it's fine, at least you got enough time until I finish the cake"(Rebbeca)said while searching for a knife

The prince was glad it worked, because his best escape plan was use Aria as a meet shield while he ran at full speed. And now that he thought about it, Aria was really quiet. He turned around and saw her completely frozen

"hey, you ok?"(prince) while weaving his hand at her face

"Wha... is she.... why..."(Aria) still not completely ok

"Make sense please, I can't understand babbling"(prince) slapping her lightly on the face

"Isn't she princess rebecca?what is she doing her!!??"(Aria) finally making sense

"ahh thaat, she doesn't want to be queen so she is hiding, and I don't really have a way to make her do it"(prince) say it casually

"he is joking right?"(Aria) directed her question at the girl who was stuffing her face in cake

"wee sidnf jifsunking"(Rebecca) talking with her mouth full

"What!?"(Aria)

Rebbeca gulped a big choking of cake"he is telling the truth"finally said

"seriously? why?"(Aria)

"Julian, she is starting to irritate me"(Rebecca) Threaten them

"Aria, shut up now please"(Prince)

"but.."(Aria)

"Shut up!"(Prince)

"fine"(Aria)

The prince relaxed a little and decided to ask what he wanted to know and go before she finish the cake and at the speed she was going, he didn't have much time left

"So there was a fight in the middle of the street near the palace yesterday evening. The guy was capture alive there but when he arrived at the guards in the castle five minutes later he was dead and we don't know how he got killed"(prince)

"So? why do you need me?"(Rebecca)

"Well, I wanted to know if it was possible to do with magic like brainwashing or Illusion"(Prince)

"I doubt it was a big spell if that's what you mean"(Rebecca)

"What do you mean?"(Prince)

"Well, I would feel a distortion in the mana with a big spell. If they used a spell, it was a small one or nothing more than a few since to many small make a big one"(Rebecca)

monster(prince) was always shocked at what his brothers and sisters were capable, but at least he could drop a possibility.

"Any good ideas on what to do?"(prince)

"If magic isn't involve I don't really care, so no"(Rebecca)Answer while still eating the cake

Figures, another dead end and no help to keep going(prince)getting tired of always getting nothing

"Well, I leave you alone with the cake, just don't do anything nasty while no one is watching please"(prince) left the room with Aria before Rebecca decided to throw a spell just for fun

"F-ck you"(Rebecca) yelled while they were leaving

He may have being tempted to bring a cake every day just to make her fat(it would be really funny) but he was sure she had a way to drop weight

On the way back the price warned her that if she tried to tell anyone what she saw inside, she would feel a tremendous pain from the collar. It was a bluff since he didn't know how to do it, but after seeing her go pale, he was sure he fooled her.In the end, they just went back to the palace without any incidents

When they got inside, they found Lina a little upset since they left her behind, but the prince managed to calm her by taking out the extra candy he brought for rebecca. In the end, he spend the rest of the day reading and eating while trying really hard not to thinks about Elena like he had being trying all day with little success. He knew there wasn't anything he could do about it, and he was in enough sh*t to have time to be depressed, but it was harder than he thought.

8 days after the explosion - Magic university

He woke up by a maid like almost every day and went to have breakfast. This time he found Aria chatting with Lina, and Lina was wearing more comfortable cloth than usual, so they probably trained early in the morning and they were having a break while eating their breakfast.

"So did you do some training in the morning Lina?"(prince)

"yes! Aria said it was better to move train muscle in the morning before eating and now we are taking a break"(Lina)

"Does that come from personal experience?"(prince)asked aria

"It is something my instructor said when I was younger"(Aria)

So they kept eating and the prince asked aria how would she train Lina since it was kind of worrying that she was capable of throwing her to some dogs to build courage or something like that. In the end it will be mostly physical and inner mana training(Since Lina has) before breakfast and then sword lessons after. Since it looked pretty standard, the prince didn't have anything to worry about(probably)

The prince then decided to see how Susan was doing since he didn't want her to feel left out. He was about to ask how she was doing but he realised she looked a little paler than yesterday and her plate was half finish

"Are you ok Susan?"(Prince)

"eh? oh yeah, just a little sick, nothing major. I just forgot to cast a healing spell since i am still sleepy"(Susan)

and then she said some words and with a small flash, she looked fine again

"If you are sick you can take the day off if you want"(prince)

"Nonononono, don't worry, one of the advantage of being a healing mage is that I can cure myself from most stuff, it is just that I have a lot of stuff in my head and didn't notice that I looked that bad"(Susan)waving her hand around in denial

The prince find it a little strange, but he guessed it was probably that time of the month so he didn't press

In the end, they all finish and got up of the table but before he could go anywhere, he was stopped by the servant. The prince thought that the day he bring him some sort of good news, the end of the word would be near.

"Follow me please"(Servant) said his usual line

And so, the prince follow him. He kind of wonder what sort of surprise would bring him today. It was usually something important when he called for him, so it was hard to refuse, he only hoped it was something too annoying.

He follow him to a room he knew his father use to be a lot and when the servant open the door to the room, the prince saw hell. He suffer a lot over the years with the constant mistreatment and disappointing looks. He also consider the stabbing one of or even the worst moment of his life but what was in that room was something else entirely

He was sure that if the 7 hells existed, that room was one of them.
