Chapter 43 Extra
~ The Daily Life of the Chaotic King I ~
SW/SW/SW
Kail yawned lazily, stretching his arms upwards, and then rubbed his eyes. The same scenery greeted him so early in the morning: satin cover of his bed. Looking down, there were myriad of red locks cluttering on his neck.
He brought a hand to cover his eyes.
It was not a dream.
He did get sucked into GeaOnline, for reason and method unknown.
The red-haired female muttered incorrigibly in her sleep and shifted. Turning around, she had her head on his chest, half of her body touching his own, and one leg entered an empty space between his strong legs. She sighed when her thigh touched his member.
Kail caressed her hair, paying little attention to her weight. It actually was nice to wake up with someone so close to him. It made him feel a little bit safe, like he was no longer alone.
He then instinctively did his morning ritual: checking his phone for time and messages. Kail groped around, completely ignoring Hathor’s ample, naked breasts on his chest. To his surprise he found nothing on the bed.
He slapped his forehead, realizing his stupidity.
“…looking for something…?” Hathor’s hoarse voice echoed in the quiet room.
“I was just thinking about caressing your tail, but I couldn’t find it,” he lied.
Hathor’s thin eyebrow knitted together and she cursed under her breath, “…kinky.”
But she gave him her tail nonetheless…
…and wagged it, even.

The bed was amazingly comfy that Kail did not even want to leave it and neither was Hathor. She was being talkative today and blabbered about many things. It was interesting, however, to see her talking. He was curious to hear through the end, even if it was just trivia.
It must’ve had something to do with her charisma. Kail bet that it was higher than him.

“Hey, let’s go on a date.”
Kail arched his brows, “What are you saying all of a sudden?”
“In books I read, lovers always do that.”
Well, that was surprising. A slut like her was keen on reading books.
She pouted cutely, “I want to ride the wyverns. You and I soaring the sky, the sun beaming softly at us, and we holding hands…” she sighed dreamily, “…oh, how romantic…”
“Why the wyverns? You can fly on your own, can’t you? What’s the difference, anyway?” Kail had no time to do stupid thing like that.
To his surprise, she pounded his chest, whining, “You idiot! It’s different! Different! It’s not romantic at all! Come on… let’s go on a daaate!”
“I’m busy.”
“Ditch your work… Pretty, please…? I’ll suck your love rod dry as a payment! I’ll let you put it in my ass, even! Please…?”
Kail grimaced and pushed his wife’s face away, “You are such a dirty cunt.”
Hathor resisted, however, and managed to encircle her arms around his neck. She rested her face on the nape of his neck.
“…I just… want to create sweet memories…” she whispered weakly. “We’ve been married for so long, yet… yet we don’t have a single memory of us together… It’s so ironic. So sad. So wrong…"
A moment later she pushed her body away from him, smiling sadly. “I’m sorry. That was childish of me, asking for a date. We are not even young anymore.”
She turned around to leave, but stopped. It was faint, but Kail heard her sighing in disappointment.
He might not know who she was, but it was different for her. Before Kail got sucked into this world, this man—Azariel—was her husband. Now that he thought about it, it was indeed pretty sad to see a married couple without any memorable moment.

Kail slowly hugged her from behind and murmured, “When things have settled down a bit, I’ll take you on a date.”
She broke the hug, staring at him wide eyes and mouth agape, “P-Promise? Promise, promise, promise?”
He chuckled. She was kind of cute, “I promise.”
With a happy cry, she threw her body in his arms and they embraced each other tightly. Kail stared into space.
…I wish I still had my phone so we could take a picture…

He was flabbergasted at the sheer numbers of his personal servants. The amazing (or ridiculous) thing was he had four servants who aided him in getting dressed. It was as if he was a baby who couldn’t get dressed by himself. Not that he complained, but it was annoying.
He also had six servants in charge of bath: three servants had something to do with his clothes, two for preparing the perfect bath temperature, and the last one in charge of preparing the towel. Totally ridiculous. It made him wonder if kings, who appeared in World History books, were all like this, swimming in pleasure and lazy.
Speaking of getting dressed, his armor was also ridiculous. He had to wear layers of clothes to finally wear the armor. First, the servants aided him with his tight, black pants, before moving to fasten the metallic armor around his feet and thighs. Next, he had to wear a white, turtleneck clothes with patterns on the neck and on top of it, a long, high-collared outer garment with belts in front, similar to that for a vampire. It was tight around his arms.
His body armor was next and then gauntlets and arms protection. One of them fetched his heavy, black cloak and draped it across his back to his front, shielding his arms from sight. A piece of black cloth was fastened on either side of the cloak, right in front of the chest. One thing that was out of place was the long, pale pink cloth that was draped around his neck. It nearly reached his thighs.
Kail felt his shoulders getting heavy all of a sudden. The servants had placed the shoulders protection on its places, pinning everything underneath them. Not only that, they put on the neck armor that was as stiff as a wall. Looking behind his shoulder was now quite hard.
He looked at the mirror.
Staring back at him was a human male, with solidly built body that was covered entirely in heavy armor. He was tall, nearly 190 centimeters, with short, black hair but long bangs. There were two old, war wounds on his cheeks, each starting from the jaw and ending at the cheek.
His eyes were of a normal shape, like those of a human. The irises were bottomless. Instead of the normal-colored pupils, they were piercing red. He had deep shadows under his eyes, as if he hadn’t had sleep for days. A scowl was forever etched on his face.
Kail felt that he was looking at the mature version of himself, only darker, more sinister and twisted.
For the final touch, they put on his helmet. Opening his eyes, Kail’s vision was met by the picture in his status screen: the three-eyed demon, Azariel, who was also known as the Chaotic Madness.
He then strode out of the room confidently and regally. Following behind him was Hathor, dressed as indecently as she had always been.
This was him. This was the real him.
He was Azariel, the last boss of GeaOnline, not Kail.
…and he was ready to survive…
…until the day he could finally return to the real world.

Virtuous Cultivation
-July 10, 2022- Stocked Chapters: 8 I'm out of hiatus, but honestly, I can't trust myself to post consistently anymore... A new arc is about to begin, and I'll start posting again once the entirety is done. It might take a year, but honestly, this story is going to go on for the foreseen future anyway... so I suppose that's just a blip in the grand scheme of things? I'll leave updates here every once in a while, if for some reason you're still actively checking on this incredibly slow story T-T The path of cultivation is often portrayed as one stained by bloodshed. But is that truly necessary? Heaven is merciful, after all. On a rather ordinary day, a peasant girl was whisked away by a strange old man. In a hall of great white jade, she was offered the chance to cultivate. ...too bad she's as lazy as a sloth. Slice of life Xianxia with fairly little action in early chapters, more focused on comedy. Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!

Gray's Crucible
“The value you have brought to trade is immense, more than a thousand fold what any other traveler to Crucible has ever produced. More than even I produced during my journey.” The old man paused for a moment here, seemingly reluctant to continue. After a few seconds he begins again with weariness creeping into his voice. “As the Messenger of Crucible I have received the value of your life. You shall be awarded a body with potential equaling the value you have brought to this place in accordance with the laws of the higher realms. Now you shall depart for Crucible, but first; I, Jaze, will give you some advice.” The old man, Jaze, he had named himself paused a time. Time enough that Gray began to wonder if he was still present, when he suddenly continued in a low and serious tone, “You will undoubtedly have great potential Gray of Earth, but it is still only potential. What could be is not necessarily what will be. If you step foolishly in my world, if you can not live up to the potential you have bartered for, Crucible will crush you mercilessly and tear away your very soul.” A thought, cheerful and light was heard from Gray before his presence was sent rocketing away like a shooting star. “I’m looking forward to it.”
